Kato immediately hung up the call and puffed.
"What's his deal..." She mumbled with her head down. Which means, she didn't notice what was in front of her until she bumped into someone.
"Kouhai-chan? What's wrong? Why do you look so down?" Kotobuki asked in worry.
"Rei, are you free?" Kato asked with hope in her eyes.
"Yeah."
"Want to go out with me?!" She exclaimed with sparkling eyes.

Late in the evening, Kato decided to meet up with the others at the river back where the festival is held up.
It will be a great view to watch the fireworks.
Kato hoped she wasn't too late since she had gone to visit her mom earlier in the afternoon.
Why?
After Kato had hung up the call, Yuuji immediately told the situation to Shimizu Aya, scared that he might have angered the girl.
So, Aya called her daughter and told her to come back home and that she will help Kato with the yukata.
Kato thanked her mother for it. At least she didn't have to find a suitable yukata for this occasion.
Although Kotobuki could have help with choosing, she decided not to trouble him. But they did hang out that day, by going to a cafe.
And because of that, Kato had learned more about him.
Apparently, even though Kotobuki can be fun, he's actually quite serious and mature sometimes. That time when he called her name back at the camp was one of the evidence of it.
Kotobuki also likes to read and that when he has a day off, he would come to a cafe to read.
Kato told him her interest as well, which is reading, and this made the two of them share the same hobby. They promised that when they have the time, they would come to a cafe together to relax themselves.
Anyways, right now, when she was walking along the river bank, she spotted Ichinose and Nanami were walking in front of her.
She decided to keep her distance first to see what will happen.

"What are you guys doing here?" Nanami asked in a daze.
"Don't act so distant." Kurusu stated. "We couldn't just ignore you when we knew you were worried."
Seeing her confused, Ittoki said, "We thought of what we could do for you together."
"The only thing we can do for you, is provide the greatest vocals for your song." Jinguji told her.
"At the very least, we wanted you to know how much we care about you." Hijirikawa mentioned with a smile.
"Everyone..."
"Haruka, our hearts will always connect to yours." Aijima said.
"Everyone... I'm sorry for making you worry." Nanami apologized, as tears began to fall. "Thank you."
"Such a beautiful song... I'm so happy... I... I'll put everything I'm feeling into my arrangement!"
"Yeah! We'll sing with all the happiness we have when we sing that song!" Kurusu exclaimed.
"Yes!"
They all grinned.
When should I come out from my hiding spot... Kato sweatdropped.
"Oh yeah... Now that I think about it, I didn't write you this song, did I?" Nanami asked, confused. (A/N: In the anime, she did. I'm changing a little)
"Koto-chan wrote it for us." Shinomiya answered.
"Kotone-chan did?" Nanami was surprised.
"Now that you mentioned it, where is she?" Jinguji looked around.
"We're supposed to meet here." Kurusu stated.
"Is she late?" Cecil asked.
Cue my appearance!
"Haru!!! I was so worried!!!" Kato came out from her hiding spot and immediately tackled her friend into a bear hug.
"Kotone-chan!"
"Don't take everything on yourself!" Kato cried dramatically.
The guys were just staring at the aquamarine girl with awe. Some even have some blush on their face.
"I'm sorry, Kotone-chan..." Nanami hugged back the girl.
"You bet! Don't make us worry about you anymore!"
"Okay." The two girls smiled at each other before Kato let go of her friend.
"Oh! And I wrote that song for you. So it's dedicated to you from all of us." Kato grinned.
"Thank you, Kotone-chan." Nanami gave a small smile which Kato did in return before facing the guys.
"Yo! Sorry I'm late!"
But they just kept quiet.
"Hm? Surprised seeing me wear a yukata? I told you I might wear one, didn't I?" Kato teased.
"W-well... What Natsuki said is true, you are p-pretty..." Kurusu muttered.
"Aw, thanks! Anyways, let's watch some fireworks together. It should start soon." Kato said as she faced the river back and looked up the night sky.
"Fireworks?" Nanami asked.
"We planned to invite you to come to the festival with us." Hijirikawa said.
"But Tokiya went to invite you himself." Kato told her, shrugging her shoulders.
Of course, the guys weren't too happy.
"Oh..."
Just in time, the fireworks started and they were amazed to see them up close.
Kato stared at the sky with awe and was glad that she got to watch the fireworks with everyone.
After all, it was her first time seeing the fireworks somewhere else other than being cooped up in her room.
