The clicking and clacking of keyboards fill the house. The lights are dimmed and the windows are covered. As usual, it's hard to tell whether it's day or night. Seven presses send on his work for his stupid agency and lets out a loud sigh. He melts onto the couch, his body, much like the dark circles beneath his eyes hint, is burdened with a heavy load of fatigue.
His twin, however, sits erect in his seat as usual, his attention as sharp as the moment he began working three days ago. "If you have time to sigh, get back to checking on the messenger." Aside from his new exercise routine and ever darkening patches beneath his eyes, Saeran hasn't changed much. The only time he really laughed or smiled was when he was either in a garden or with Y/n anyway. "After the show they pulled they aren't going to miss a chance to contact us. After running the possibilities, the likelihood of them contacting us today is high."
Seven groans and rolls from his back onto his stomach and pulls his laptop's blinding screen closer to him. Despite what the circumstances are, he must admit that he's happy to be able to spend time with his brother. He pushes his glasses out of the way and rubs his eyes. A small smile comes to his lips. "Yes sir!"
Less than fifteen minutes into touching up the messenger's servers, a bright red notification pops up on his screen. "S- Saeran!" Seven shouts loudly, practically falling off of the side of the couch.
He whips around in his chair immediately, "What is it?!"
Startled at his sudden burst of energy, Saeyoung struggles to get his words out. "For when- Foreign con- connection to the chat!" He flips the screen around and displays the alert to his brother. "Username Y/n is trying to join the chat!"
"Let her in."

Day 3 7:13 AM
Y/n has entered the chat.
Y/n: Hello...?
Y/n: Is this working?
Y/n: Is anyone here?
Saeran has entered the chat.
Saeran: I'm here.
Saeran: Are you really Y/n?
Y/n: Yeah... I'll prove it later
Y/n: Before that though, that thing beneath my stuffed animal is still on. Did you get it?
Yoosung has entered the chat.
Yoosung:
Saeran: I'm closing down the chat.
Saeran: Everyone will be permitted to enter once I check "Y/n's" connection.
Jumin has entered the chat.
Y/n: Okay. Let me know if you got it.
Yoosung: What?!?!?! Y—
Yoosung has left the chat.
Jumin has left the chat.
Y/n has left the chat.
Saeran has left the chat.

"Why did you kick everyone out?" Seven asks as he looks at the chat over Saeran's shoulder. They were all acting weird. Y/n seemed more robotic than anything and Jumin didn't even have enough time to say anything. "Do you think it wasn't actually Y/n? And why were they talking about a stuffed animal?"
"It's her," his words are stiff as they squeeze past the lump in his throat. He punches the keyboard quickly and hacks in through Y/n's connection. "If someone was pretending to be her, they would've said something less suspicious. Y/n was leaving a message to me."
"What do you mean?"
Saeran scans through the numbers on his screen as he speaks, making sure to hide his trail. "Her stuffed animal is named Nunsseob, you know, eyebrows. Beneath eyebrows, eyes, are still on. She means the chat is being watched. There was nothing under her stuffed animal in the first place, so if I didn't get it, I would've replied 'no'."
"If the chat is being watched, is it really okay to let her in it," Seven asks as Saeran sets up a private video chat platform on his computer screen. "We already discussed our plans on how to take the Mint Eye down there."
"I made it so that they won't be able to listen in on the calls she makes to me, you and Jumin. Being able to communicate with Y/n will make it easier to save her." The video call goes out to all of the members of the RFA. The first to pick up is Jaehee, but Saeran doesn't seem to care as he doesn't bother to greet her, instead opening a new slide to continue typing code. "I'm having this call to tell everyone not to discuss anything in the chat except from the party. The lie will be that Y/n disappeared and no one knows where she is or what happened."
"What? Why? What's going on?" Jaehee cuts in. Jumin's face appears on the screen as well and moments later, Yoosung and Zen join the call as well.
"The people that kidnapped Y/n are watching the chat. If they don't get some information through her, something bad may happen to Y/n," Saeran explains without removing his attention from the code. "Don't say a single word about the cult in the chat or about knowing that those two are alive. It may put Y/n's life in further danger."
The video chat goes quiet. Jumin closes his eyes and proceeds to open them slowly. "I have what you asked me for ready. Take care of the Prime Minister."
"Meet me at the address in your email at an hour before sundown," Saeran directs as he double checks the sent email in another tab.
Yoosung bites his lip. Seven has been busy helping Ray, Jaehee has been finalizing everything for the party, and Zen has been gaining public favor per Ray's orders in addition to advertising for the party's live stream. "Is- is there something I can do to help?"
"Just keep your fucking mouth shut in the chat," Saeran snaps immediately. Yoosung is the one he trusts the least. He'll be damned if the immature prick pulls some dumb shit and gets Y/n hurt.
A hand is placed on Saeran's shoulder. "Yoosung." The blond boy has his head hung low. Conflicted as he may be, it's time for him to face the truth. Seven's usual smile glows brightly on his face just behind Saeran's cold glare. "How about you come over here and help me out? I have a job I think you will like doing."
"Are you sure?" Yoosung perks up immediately.
"Good for you, Yoosung," Zen supports immediately with a small chuckle.
Saeran sucks his teeth but doesn't veto the idea. Anything is better than Yoosung being destructive. "You're lucky I won't be in the house much anymore."
Luciel gives them all a sheepish smile and Saeran quickly moves to close the meeting. "To summarize: act like all you know is that Y/n disappeared. Don't mention saving her or a kidnapping, just focus on the party. Got it?"
"Yes."
"Yup."
"Understood."
"Um, yeah. I got it."
"Good." And with that, Saeran shuts down the call.
