Jennie's POV
"Jen, did you already met the exchange student from Thailand?"
Irene Unnie inquired immediately the moment she saw me.
"Exchange student? Oh! The one Ms. Song talking about, the one that I need to tour around?" I confirmed.
"Yes, that's correct." She answered confirming.
"Aww not yet, is she here already? She's early though."
"Apparently she is Jisoo's close friend." She informed, pertaining to my cousin.
"Really? What a small world then." I said amazed. Irene Unnie about to say something when someone covered my eyes. By the scent I already know who is it. My boyfriend Kai.
"Babe?" I confirmed.
I heard he chuckled and made me turn around to face him.
"Hi gorgeous." He greeted giving me his infamous smile.
"Hi." I greeted back. He leaned and peck my lips.
"I'm sorry I failed to fetch you, I'll make it up to you later okay?" He said guiltily.
Well if you're wondering why didn't he fetched me it's because he do have an early practice for their football team.
"Aww it's okay babe, I know how important this game to you, besides Jisoo Unnie fetch me." I assured him.
"You're really understanding babe, that's why I love you." He said afterwards.
"You know I love you too, that's nothing, really." I answered then kissed his cheek.
We are interrupted when we heard someone fake a cough.
"Ehem! Ehem!"
"Oh Jisoo Unnie, you need something?" I asked Unnie when I saw its her.
That's the time I noticed that she's not alone, well if you'll ask me you can really notice the person behind her, because of her height. Though her back facing me, she looks like she's admiring the place.
"Wow! Unnie, your University is really huge, you sure I won't get lost here?"
The person adorably said maybe talking to Jisoo Unnie, not looking to her though but the surrounding itself.
"Yah Lalisa! I told you I'll introduce you to my cousin right? Can you stop drooling to this place first and walk here." Unnie said annoyed.
This is the time the "said" girl named Lalisa, turned around. I gasped the moment I clearly saw her face. She's gorgeous. So gorgeous.
"Aww don't be like that Unnie. I'm sorry okay?" She apologize to Jisoo Unnie.
I was interrupted with my train of thoughts when the girl look at me. I swear my cheeks heat up the moment she smiled at me.
"Hi! You must be Jennie Kim? Jisoo Unnie's cousin? The one who'll tour me around? I'm Lalisa Manoban, you can call me Lisa." She said non stopped while extending her hand for a handshake.
I saw Jisoo Unnie face palmed her face and I can't help but chuckled.
"What? Isn't she Jennie Kim, Unnie?" Lisa adorably confirmed to Unnie. "You said your cousin is pretty and aside from you, she's the prettiest girl I saw here so far." Then she covered her mouth then move a bit closer to Unnie, as if whispering her. "Isn't she your cousin Unnie? Don't tell me I embarrassed myself in-front of that gorgeous lady?" She tried to whisper but I can still clearly heard her. This time I didn't hold back and laugh. She's adorably funny.
"Hey! You're right I'm Jennie Kim, you more of embarrassed Unnie than you embarrassed yourself if you'll ask me." I told her as a matter of factly. Jisoo Unnie face reflects embarrassment and annoyance because of this Lalisa.
"Oh! Is it true Unnie? Are you embarrassed of me now? Really?" She asked Unnie pouting. Argh! Why is she this cute?
"Stop it Lalisa, its not cute." Unnie said seriously.
"Lisayaaaah!"
We're interrupted again by a loud call from Chaeng, Jisoo Unnie's girlfriend. She immediately hug Lalisa in a bone wrecking kind of hug.
"Yah! Chipmunk let go of me." Lalisa said looking really in pain because of the hug.
"Oww! Oww! I'm sorry Lisayah! I just missed you so much! I'm glad you decided to study here. My baby here, missed you too and can't stop blabbering how things will be different if you're just be here instead." Chaeng confessed.
"I did not said that baby!" Unnie complained but Chaeng just laugh and peck Unnie's lips.
That's the time Chaeng noticed me.
"Oww! Jen you're here. You met Lisa already?" She inquired and I nodded smiling not to Chaeng but to Lisa.
Then I felt someone's arm wrapped around my waist.
"Oww ahm, yes, by the way Lisa meet my boyfriend Kai and babe I know you already heard everything but still meet Lisa. She's the exchange student I'm talking about." I explained.
"Oh, I remember, nice to meet you." Kai said while extending his hand, Lisa accepted it but I'm not sure if I'm just imagining things but I saw a coldness on her eyes for a second.
"Ahm, I should go now babe, I just asked for a break from our practice to really see you before the class starts." Kai informed that made my heart warms. He's really considerate of my feelings.
"Aww how sweet of you babe, you know there's no need to do that but thank you, I appreciate it. See you later at lunch?" I confirmed but he scratched his nape. "You can't join me?" I asks calmly.
"Ahm, yes, sorry babe. Coach said that team should eat lunch together to monitor our food intake every now and then. You know not all of us in the team are all disciplined, at the end of the day there are some who cheats to their supposedly diet." He long explained.
I sighed, despite the disappointment, I can't totally blame him.
"No worries babe, I understand." I answered and he smiled.
"I know you will." Then he kissed my cheek again then bid goodbye to me.
"You done Jendeuk?"
I nodded pertaining to my conversation with Kai.
"Good, can you now accompany this baby? You two also taking same course so I hope that you'll take care of Lisa until she became familiar with everything here." Unnie said hopeful. When my gaze diverted to Lisa, unlike the first time she looked at me, now there's something different on the way she's looking at me but I can't really figure it out.
"Err, of course Unnie, you can count on me." I assured her.
"Thank you Jendeuk, we'll go now. See you two later at lunch. Lisa? Behave." Unnie instructed that made Lisa chuckled.
"Bye and see you later Jen and Lisayah!" Chaeng said.
When we're already alone, we fell silent for at least good minute, just looking where Jisoo Unnie and Chaeng went, when we can no longer see their backs I decided to broke the silence.
"Ahm Lisa? Come on? We still an hour left before our class starts. Do you want to start your University tour now?" All of a sudden I became conscious of what I look because of the way Lisa looking at me.
Then she smiled, the smile I was mesmerized a while ago.
"What about we eat? I'm hungry. I didn't eat breakfast cause of too much excitement." She cutely confessed.
"Aww, you're such a baby." I teased.
"Your baby?"
Then I choked.
She giggled but walked near me to give my back soothing rub.
"You okay?" She asks as she hand me her bottled water. It's already opened so I know she already consumed some of it, its rude if I'll decline so I decided to drink it, its too late to realized that it's an indirect kiss after all.
I froze.
"I'm clean Jennie." She confirmed seriously. Maybe she thought I'm disgusted.
"Yah! I didn't say you're dirty or something". I defended.
"But your action looks like you're disgusted." She said sadly.
"I'm not Lalisa." I said raising my brow.
"Then why you act like that?"
"Ahm, ah, I err, I just realized it looked like we just shared an indirect kiss." I almost mumbled the last words then immediately turned around to hide my reaction. I know I'm already blushing.
"Well, that's actually the goal Jennie Kim."
Goal? what?!
