Leo flinched slightly at the growl that ripped its way up from the male Omega's chest. Harry had cleared the distance between him and the golden-haired Alpha in less than a minute. The dark-haired Omega whipped the wand out of his back pocket and had it pressed against the taller male's throat defensively. Leo laughed nervously although his amber eyes relayed the fact that he was slowly getting angered; they'd dropped another shade darker. Maybe Harry shouldn't be so aggressive towards a Lycanthrope Prince? No, Harry was soon to be a Prince as well, so Leo had no need discriminating against him.
"Easy now Omega." Leo's tone was tense as he lifted his right hand to push Harry back slightly; the Omega growled once again. The Alpha cocked a golden eyebrow at Harry and the Omega held his ground stiffly. "I'm only messing with you. Soleil won't let me harm you." Leo's voice went from joking to serious between his two statements. Harry rolled his emerald green eyes and lifted his gaze to lock it with the Lycanthrope Alpha. The Omega was so tired of Leo's vagueness and lack of regard towards his and Draco's courtship. Harry was done with not asking his questions; it was time for some answers.
"And why is that?" Harry's voice was gruff, and he couldn't help but notice the pain that lay deep in Leo's almost orange gaze. The Alpha's eyes deepened another half shade to an orange-red and the male Omega noticed a strange gleam to his eyes. Were those tears?
"I can't tell you." Leo huffed out his voice heavy with distress. Harry dropped his gaze to the Alpha's hands and watched as the tightened into fists over and over again. It was the Omega's turn to bark out a dry laugh and Leo sent a growl at Harry but made no moves to push the smaller male away.
"Why can't you?" Harry asked his voice full of annoyance and yet the Omega couldn't help but feel concerned for the Alpha. Leo seemed to be pained by his questions and Harry just wanted to understand; if the Alpha came clean the male Omega would do his best to help him. After a full minute of silence and a few attempts from Leo to speak, Harry decided to break the silence again. "I'll help you if you just come clean Leo." Harry spoke slowly and he watched as the Alpha's eyes lightened back to amber slowly. With the progress the Omega was making Harry continued to talk to the calming Lycanthrope. "I'm sure Draco and I can-" A rough shove sent Harry back into the railing of the stairs and the male Omega let out a pained groan. Harry was now winded and as he gripped onto the railing behind him to stay on his feet, he lifted his green gaze to meet Leo's black one. The Omega swallowed his fear and bit back a curse; he'd really fucked up.
"Don't say his name." Leo's voice wasn't his own. It was deeper than Harry could imagine an Alpha's voice being, but he remembered it was strangely like Draco's when he'd completely lost control. The golden-haired Alpha's growl and ragged breathing did nothing to help calm down Harry's paranoia. The Omega was sure his scent was being tainted by fear and concern and he only hoped that Draco couldn't smell it. Harry knew there'd be no stopping his Alpha from flying off the handle at the sight that awaited for him.
"L-leo." Harry spoke trying his best to calm the raging Lycanthrope before him down. It only seemed to make the Alpha's temper worse. A huff came before the golden-haired male began to pace back and forth slowly and he tugged a hand through his soft sunlight colored tresses.
"Don't." Came Leo's gruff reply and Harry flinched finally pushing himself away from the railing. A tentative hand moved to lay on Leo's bicep and the Alpha shrugged off growling loudly. Leo whipped his body around to face the male Omega and Harry tried his best not to back away from the golden-haired Lycanthrope. Black eyes met green ones and Harry tried his best to steady his own voice, but Leo beat him to it. "Stop making this difficult!" The Alpha's plea came out like a threat as he began to back Harry up into the railing. His pheromones were so spoiled and soured the male Omega had to hide his gag behind a pale hand that he clasped over his mouth. "You think I like being like this to you?" Leo asked his eyes lightening a shade turning to a reddish brown. At least he was calming himself down although the idea still didn't seem to calm Harry down all the way. "I hate being this person." Leo's voice finally returned to its normal baritone pitch but cracked intensely. Harry noticed the tears that threatened to spill past his now orange eyes and the golden-haired Alpha pulled his gaze and body away from the male Omega.
"Leo?" Harry asked and the Alpha kept his muscular back towards the dark-haired Omega. Harry wanted the Lycanthrope to turn around and try to talk this out, but he got the sense he shouldn't push this situation any further.
"I can't do this right now," Leo spoke his voice broken but still it's normal tone. Harry bit at his bottom lip in resolve and tried his best to not force the golden-haired Alpha to come clean. It'd be best to let the Lycanthrope come to him when he was ready to talk about what was wrong. Even if he was mean to Harry the Alpha deserved a second chance. After all he did give Draco one and he'd never regret that decision even if cost him his life. "I'll explain it when I can." With that Leo stormed away from the trembling Omega and Harry felt his body sag slightly. That was way too intense of a situation for him to deal with this early in the morning; he needed a breather. Luckily lunch with his future mother-in-law awaited him downstairs and that's all the breather Harry would need.

Harry woke from his midday nap by the mattress underneath him dipping down slightly. The male Omega groaned out his protests and a familiar woodsy-mint scent and laughter filled the air. It was his prat of silvery-blond Alpha. In excitement Harry sat up quickly and threw open his eyes to lock gazes with Draco's grey one. The Lycanthrope Alpha smiled his greeting and before Harry could say his Draco moved to lay his head in Harry's lap. The Omega felt blush claw its way onto his face at Draco's forwardness but once recovered Harry knotted his fingers into the Alpha's silver tresses. Draco huffed out happily when Harry scratched gently at his scalp and continued to play with his hair slowly.
"Rough day Draco?" Harry asked concern filling his gaze as he pumped out calming pheromones steadily for his Alpha. Draco sighed into the scent and nuzzled his head further into the Omega's hands. Harry's blush deepened another shade at the contact from his Alpha.
"No," Draco spoke and before he could stop himself the Alpha let a slur of soft chuffles pass his full lips. A zestful smile grew out onto the male Omega's face and Harry sent a playful eyebrow wiggle to Draco when grey eyes met his own. Grey eyes rolled and closed at the dark-haired Omega's laughter that followed his facial expression. "I just missed you is all." Draco's tone was full of endearment and he opened his eyes to lock gazes with his Omega.
"I missed you more." Harry spoke softly before bending down and pressing a soft kiss to Draco's forehead. The silvery-blond Alpha growled out playfully as Harry leaned back up. "I think I need to tell you something." The Omega spoke busying his hands by playing with Draco's soft tresses again. The Alpha tensed up slightly.
"What is it love?" Draco asked lifting a hand to grip Harry's wrist tenderly. The dark-haired Omega was going to tell his Alpha about Leo's actions and decided against it. There was no need to ruin a perfect afternoon and possibly ruining the Winter-Solstice Ball. Harry figured he'd at least tell him about the interaction he'd witnessed between Isabelle and Vincent.
"I saw Isabelle with Vincent." Harry half lied. The male Omega could smell the protectiveness wafting off of his Alpha as he let out a soft growl. A slivery-blond eyebrow rose, and Harry figured Draco wanted him to continue. "They were talking about spending break together, but Vincent declined." The male Omega continued his explanation while Draco closed his eyes in thought as he focused on Harry's words. "Vincent said something about his parents wouldn't like him bringing home a Beta." Harry finished his thoughts and Draco huffed out in understanding.
"I know what's going on between them." Draco spoke opening his grey eyes to lock with Harry's green ones. The male Omega nodded to him as his fingers danced through the Alpha's hair slowly. "Vincent is probably her fated." Harry's finger froze as it all seemed to click. If he was her fated and he wanted pups that she couldn't provide; it was a sad idea to think about. Even if she was an infertile Beta, she didn't deserve to be rejected by her fated.
"Is she infertile?" Harry asked before he could stop himself and Draco moved to sit up. The Alpha tossed Harry a sideways glance and he gestured for Harry to climb into his lap. The Omega did as he was instructed.
"Sadly yes." Draco spoke wrapping his string arms around his Omega's waist. Harry leaned back into his Alpha's chest and enjoyed his warmth that radiated through Draco's skin and into his own. "She'd always hoped for pups, but I guess Lune had other ideas for her." The silvery-blond Alpha explained, and Harry nodded slowly. "She couldn't have been my fated even if Lune wanted her to be." Draco muttered in annoyance still obviously mad at his old friend. The statement piqued the dark-haired Omega's interest.
"Why?" Harry asked softly leaning back to lay his head on Draco's shoulder.
"As the heir I need to be able to have pups to carry out my bloodline." Draco spoke nonchalantly and Harry nodded slowly. Good thing he wanted pups of his own in the future. "I'll have to bring this to the council's attention, if she reveals herself to him and he rejects her this could end badly." Draco thought out loud and Harry hoped Vincent didn't reject Isabelle. "I love you and I really hate to have to leave you again but it's time to get ready for the ball." Draco explained and Harry felt excitement bubble up into his chest. It was finally time to be announced in front of Draco's kingdom as his fated. It was going to be one hell of a night.
