I walked into Nate's office "you wanted to see me?"
Nate "Your father was seen taking money from Ivy"
I looked at him confused "what?"
Yeah, Ivy had kicked out my mom and Rufus out the Penthouse since Grams left her everything. They're living now in Rufus' loft in Brooklyn.
Nate nodded.
Me "who saw them?"
Nate "Lola"
Me "if Lola saw my dad take money from Ivy, why didn't she tell me or Serena herself? "
Nate "this is complicated for her. I just thought you deserved to know. This way Lola isn't in the middle"
I sighed.
Nate "Well, i just told Serena and she had a different reaction"
Me "she was shocked and believes dad would never take money from Ivy?"
He nodded.
I nodded "yeah, that's my sister, still believing our father even after everything. "
He nodded "i won't write anything until i confirm it"
I raised an eyebrow "You're gonna write about it? That's Serena's article"
He sighed "She's too close, Fla. I'm sorry. I can't take a chance on the article that hooked Mackenzie"
My phone buzzed and i looked at it.

then i walked away.
At home.
I walked downstairs. The family had decided to meet at Ivy Dickens' Cancer charity for CeCe. Bitch.
I was on my way to the elevator when i heard a voice behind me.
Voice "you're gonna ignore me?"
I groaned annoyed and turned around "Jack"
He smirked "Flavia"
Me "what the hell are you doing here?"
Jack "Chuck called me into town-"
Me "what are you doing in my Penthouse?"
Jack "I got worried since you didn't answer any of my text messages"
Me "i didn't know i was supposed to answer you. And now, if you'd excuse me. I have a party to attend to so get the hell out "

At Ivy's place.
I walked inside and saw Lola walking over to me.
Lola "Flavia, can i talk to you-"

You can steal money but you can't steal class. Looks like Ivy's finally poisoned what little remained of her good will. Last i heard it was illegal to bribe an executor.
Lola "That's what i wanted to tell you. I guess Gossip Girl got to it first. "
Me "and ruined everything"
yeah, i had gotten a text from Mom saying that Ivy did offer Dad money and it was a deal to get the money back. Dad had told Mom and was playing along to help my mother.
I sighed.
Mom, Serena, Dad and Ivy were already arguing with each other.
I looked at Lola "please, Lola, you have to tell them that you saw Ivy offering the money to my father"
Lola sighed "i don't know. It looked like your father was in on it to me"
Me "please, Lola, this could help our family"
Lola sighed "please, stop using the word "our". "
Me "With your mother and your father out of the picture? This family is all you have. so please, think about it"
She looked down.

Mom, Serena, Dad and i were standing by the elevator.
Ivy walked to us "do i need to call security to escort you out?"
Me "We're just waiting for the elevator, okay?"
Mom "and we'll be back. This is our home"
Ivy shook her head "not anymore. Tonight made me see why CeCe left it all to me. You're so selfish that you couldn't even honor her for an hour. i care about her"
I rolled my eyes annoyed.
Ivy "All you care about is ruining me with your lies. "
Lola showed up behind her "It's not a lie. "
Mom "Lola"
Lola "I heard you offering to pay William myself"
Mom "that's exactly the proof we need"
Ivy shook her head "No, it's now. They're setting me up. You know i wouldn't do that"
Lola "all i know is what i saw, Ivy"
Then she walked over to me.
mom "I'll have my lawyers start proceedings to contest the will"
Ivy "go ahead. You don't have a case. I didn't do anything wrong. "
Dad "the court will decide that. In the meantime, your assets will be frozen. "
I looked at Lola"Thank your for coming forward"
Ivy shook her head "i can't believe you're taking their side. They're just using you. When they're done, they'll throw you out just like they did me"
Lola "no, they won't. They're my family"
Mom smiled happily.
The elevator opened and we walked inside.
In the lobby.
Me "Serena, wait a sec"
She turned to me while the others walked out to get a cab.
Serena "yeah?"
Me "You're Gossip Girl, aren't you?"
She froze.
Me "you were the only one besides me that Nate talked to about Dad getting money from Ivy. You knew. But you didn't know the whole truth. You posted that as Gossip Girl"
Serena "Fla, you got this wrong-"
Me "i also found the laptop. The Gossip Girl laptop"
She sighed.
Me "why didn't you tell me?"
Serena "i didn't want you to know"
Me "why not?"
Serena sighed "Because you know what Gossip Girl does"
I nodded " you're right, i do. But you are not like her. You can be better"
Serena "you believe that?"
I nodded "yeah, i do"

At Home.
I walked inside and sighed annoyed when i saw Jack still standing there.
Me "you can't just show up here, Jack"
Jack "well, i am here"
Then he eyed me "you left to quick i couldn't tell you how much i'd love you rip that dress off of you"
I shook my head "Jack, this will never happen again"
Jack "you say that every time."
Me "You're lucky i didn't tell Chuck the truth"
Jack put a hand on my cheek "the truth about what?"
Me "That it wasn't because of his condition that you helped him. That it was what i was willing to give you in return for your help"
Jack smirked "don't act like you had to convince yourself to do that. you and i both know that you could've just said no. But you didn't. Like you didn't say no since you ended things with Nate"
Me "what do you want, Jack?"
Jack "you know what i want, Fla"
Me "i want to leave town"
Jack leaned in "and i will after i am done with you"
Then he kissed me and i kissed back.
