I opened the front door and Dan walked inside.
Me "thank you for coming"
Dan "thank you for having me"
We walked to the dinning table and sat down.
Dan took his phone out and called Georgina.
Me "you know what you have to say?"
He nodded "sure"
Then he put the speaker on.
Georgina "hey, it's Sarah. You know what to do"
Dan "voice mail."
Me "You know what you have to say"
Dan "hey, hey, hey, it's me. Dan. um, after you left, Serena and i got in a huge fight, and--and she said all this crazy stuff. I honestly don't know what to believe, but i want to see you. so, uh, call me"
Then he hung up.
Me "good job. She's gonna call back"
Dan "this is so weird. I don't normally do plots against people. "
I rolled my eyes "don't worry. I'l talk to through it"
Suddenly the phone rang.
I hummed "right on schedule"
Dan answered "hey....good...sorry about this morning with Serena...that was very awkward, to say the least. ....last night really changed things for me"
I rolled my eyes.
Dan "Serena and i left things kind of uncertain, so i-i think i wanna end it. ..i know i do...will you meet me?"
I raised an eyebrow.
Dan nodded "see you there"
He hung up.
Me "i'm impressed"
Dan looked at me confused.
Me "you can lie. All that stuff about last night was genius. "
