This is a variation of the one I published on safe place, just slightly more depressing
I've seen so much
The pain
The pleasure
The good
The bad
I've seen it all
I know that there are those out there who are sad
I know there are those who are happy
I honor them both
Those who are sad
I respect
You no longer pretend
You see things differently
You understand more
You are compassionate
You are stronger than I
You ask for help
It may be hard but you get through it
I respect that
I cannot do that
I am unable to
I am too weak to
But you inspire me
I support you through it all
I want you to know
You are loved
You are wanted
You are real
You are allowed to feel
You are allowed to cry
Life Is tough.
Now for those who are happy
I look up to you
You have gotten through the hard ships
And continue to prosper
You see things differently too
You see everything with a rose colored hue
I'm so proud
You can see the good
While I focus on the bad
You cherish things
While I wonder what more there is
Good job
I applaud you
I'm glad.
For those who pretend
Your just like me
We put up walls to block out the pain
We dont focus on it
Only when we are alone do we let it show
Wouldn't want to bother others with problems
But we know we should
We should tell people
We should let down those walls
Let others get to know us
The real us
The happy
The sad
And the pretend
All of it
It may not seem like a possibility
But there are people out there for us
People to help
Others that would love us
Cherish us
Understand us
And keep us
Cuz that is my fear
To be left
Abandoned
Seen as worthless
Unnecessary
Unwanted
What impact do I make on the world
What impact would I make if I left
I dont see it
And I dont know if I ever will.
