as i lay in bed

Kind based in the song Dont You Dare Forget The Sun by get scared its really good

And now I lay in bed
Contemplating my own death
Then I look at what I've done
And I turn from the sun
They say I'm better of dealing with this in my own
But I think they just want me to let go
As I count up all the scars
I look up to the stars
As tears flow free
I finally see
The end of the line
The true and divine
I look up to see
It's not just me
But an army.
So many just like me
Feeling pain and suffering
But we know this is not adjusting
More join us as we wait
For the world to know its place.
They can't seem to see
That the problem wasn't me.
They look down on me
So casually
Like it's a normality
To live in this broken home
Like teens casually stop being free
And let chains wrap around their throats
As if its just a petticoat.
Like it's no big problem
Just a other teen drama,
But it's not
It's true
But i guess they won't bend the rules
Untell its them thats on the noose.
