That's all it is
1 minute
That's all that changes
Just a minute
It's the difference between life and death
The difference between being saved and being lost
Being found or being forgotten.
That's it
1 minute
To save a life
To end one
To change one
For better
Or for worse
That's all it takes
1 minute
To impact someone
To change them
To help
Or To harm.

1 minute
1 conversation
1 hug
1 listening ear
1 time can change it all.
This small passing of time
Changes lives.
It all depends on whether you choose to stay or to go
To leave behind this world
Or to work through it
To get over it.

Its not always that easy
It's not always just moving on
Forgiving and forgetting
You can't always let go.
It takes time
More than a minute
But life isn't always so lenient
The pain thrives and comes back
No matter how hard you try
It always comes back.

Some are better at fighting than others
Some know how to dodge
Some know how to run
But some don't
Some can't move when faced with all the pain
All the anguish
All the panic
All the possibilities
Some can fight through that 1 minute
Some fall to their knees
And ask for help
But when those pleas fall onto deaf ears
They are left with their one minute
And realize
That it's not just a minute
Its their last minute
And its coming to an end.
