Next day. At Ostroff Treatment Center.
My mother sent me in. I can't believe it. I don't remember how i got to the hospital but i woke up there and then my mother, without even checking on me sent me here. Great. I can't remember anything at all.
The Nurse walked inside and looked at me "Your mother would like to see you"
I shook my head "i don't wanna see her"
She nodded.
Me "Who's here?"
The nurse sighed "your mother, your brother and your boyfriend"
I corrected her "ex boyfriend, i guess"
She nodded.
I shook my head "i don't wanna see anyone"
she nodded "of course"
i gave her a weak smile and she walked out.
There was a knock on the door and I looked up but Mom and Eric walked inside instead of Eric.
I rolled my eyes annoyed.
Eric "hey, how you feeling?"
I scoffed "Betrayed, thanks"
Mom "Flavia, i know right now-"
Me "mom. Stop. Your daughter wakes up alone, drugged in the hospital and you don't call the cops, you don't ask if she's okay you just have her committed. What kind of mother does that?"
Mom "The kind who wants her daughter safe"
I asked funny "is that what you're telling yourself? "
Mom "Flavia, this isn't exactly what's best for me. It would be a lot easier to take you home and act like this never happened"
I rolled my eyes.
Mom "but i'm afraid for you"
Then she turned to the bag they had brought for me.
I looked at Eric, hurt "how could you let her do this to me? where's Serena?"
Eric "because i love you. She's at home not approving of Mom's decision"
Then he sat down on the bed "when i was in here, i didn't wanna be. At least not at first. "
I shook my head "i am not in denial, Eric. I didn't do this"
Eric "it took me a long time to come to terms with what i did too"
I scoffed and drove a hand through my hair.

I shook my head and sat up when there was a knock my door.
Nate walked inside with a soft smile "hey, how are you feeling?"
I sighed "tired, exhausted, and drained"
He sat down on the edge of the bed "you look like it"
I nodded.
Nate asked worried "you wanna tell me what happened?"
I shrugged.
Nate "what was the last thing you remember?"
Me "Our argument. I got mad and left. I got drunk and the next thing I know I was with.."
Nate asked confused "with who?"
I shook my head "I don't know. I see his face, I know his face but I just can't put the name on it. "
Nate raised an eyebrow "so you were with some guy this whole time?"
I looked at him "Nate, I don't know what happened to me but ..."
His face fell "The drugs happened"
Me "Nate, drugs can cost me my career, i would never do that"
Nate "well, apparently you did. Or how can you explain the drugs in your system?"
I shrugged "then what's the story?"
Nate sighed "Fla-"
Me "What's everyone's version of how I ended up in here?"
Nate "You don't wanna-"
I nodded "I wanna hear it. I can handle it"
Nate "After our argument you left, got drunk and then did some drugs, and to top things you somehow ended up with some stranger –"
I shook my head "Nate, I didn't sleep with that guy"
Nate "are you saying that because you know or because you think?"
I looked down.
Nate "apart from the fact you don't remember anything at all from the night you spent drugged with some guy, why were you even doing drugs? "
Me "I already told you I don't remember anything about drugs. I have no idea how I even got to them. I don't remember them at all"
He shot me a look.
I asked confused "Nate, do you really think I would risk my career for drugs just because you hurt my feelings?"
Nate "they found drugs in your system. So you must've taken them somehow or how do you explain it?"
I shook my head "I don't remember, Nate, I don't know"
Nate "do you think that maybe that guy –"
I shook my head "no. "
Nate sighed "We need to consider-"
Me "he would never do that, "
Nate "so you do know that guy?"
Me "I told you I can't put a name on the face, Nate. But i have a feeling that he would never hurt me like that. "
Nate "Then what else happened?"
Me "I told you, I don't remember how the drugs got into my system and that I don't know how that guy fits in this but...Nate, I swear to you I didn't take those drugs on free will nor did anything happen with that guy"
Nate "you swear?"
I nodded "I swear"
He nodded and put a hand on my leg.
My voice cracked "Nate, I wanna go home"
Nate sighed.
I pleaded "Nate, please, I wanna go home. Take me home"
He sighed "I wish I could but your mother –"
Me "She's gonna let me rot in here, Isn't she?"
He sighed but nodded.
Me "Nate, i wanna go home. please"
He nodded "okay, grab your bag"
I gave him a soft smile.
At Nate's. In the living room.
I looked at Nate who was just sitting there looking at nothing.
I nodded "Nate, i'm sorry, okay? so sorry"
He shook his head "It's okay, Fla, it's okay. I believe you. I know you didn't kiss Carter. I know you would never do this to me"
I nodded.
Nate "i'm sorry for making you choose. I took it too far"
I nodded "it's okay"
Suddenly the elevator doors opened and Mom, Serena and Blair walked inside.
Blair "there you are"
Mom "both of you"
I rolled my eyes "you can spare me whatever you rehearsed. I am not going back"
Blair "Even if it's what's best for you?"
Me "you keep your mouth shut. I can't believe you took her side"
Blair "Flavia-"
Me "Call whoever you need to, but the only way i'm going back is in a straightjacket"
Then i stood up and walked into Nate's room.
Serena followed me and closed the door behind her.
I turned to her and shook my head "i didn't do it, S. I didn't take those drugs. "
She nodded "i know. I believe you"
Then she hugged me.

In Nate's room.
I locked myself in here because i didn't want to talk to my mom or to Blair at all.
Blair walked inside.
I eyed her "what makes you think i wanna talk to you any more than her?"
Blair "Do you remember when i had my problem and i never wanted to go to Dr. Sherman?"
I rolled my eyes.
Blair "you would walk me and wait outside the building to make i went in. An hour later, you'd be there to walk me home. No questions asked. If it wasn't for you, i'd never have gotten better. "
Me "i don't need to get better. I didn't do anything"
Blair "so what? you got drunk somewhere and someone injected you with drugs?"
Me "i know how it sounds"
Blair "good, because it sounds-"
I nodded "Crazy. Yeah, i got that"
Blair's phone buzzed and she sighed, looking at it.
Then she showed it to me and i scoffed.
Gossip Girl "Afternoon, Upper East Siders. Were your dinners as filling as mine was? Hope no, because have i got some dessert for you with sugar on top. It seems everyone's favorite party girl fell off the wagon and landed in rehab. Good luck getting a Lohan-dle on things, F. From the looks of it, you've got a lot to recover"
And there was a photo of me sniffing a line.
I shook my head and walked out of the room. Mom was sitting at the kitchen table with Nate.
Nate was looking at the post on his phone and sighed. He drove a hand down his face and shook his head.
Me "I'm so sorry, Mom"
She looked at me confused.
Nate handed her his phone and she looked at it.
Me "Take me back to Ostroff"
In Nate's room.
Nate walked inside and sat down next to me.
Me "if i don't remember what happened in this photo who knows what else i did that i don't remember"
He shook his head "don't do that to yourself"
Me "Thank you for being the one person who believed in me, besides Serena, even though it turns out you were wrong to"
Nate shook his head "i wasn't wrong to believe in you. I still do. I always will."
Me "i love you, Nate"
Nate smiled "and i love you"
Then i kissed him.
Suddenly Eric walked inside "Mom's downstairs. You ready?"
I nodded and stood up.
Then we walked out.
