Nate "you're on speaker, Dan's with me. Dan and Vanessa sorted everything out. We should double"
Yeah turned out that Milo wasn't Dan's son which made Dan leave Vanessa for Serena and then he left Serena for Vanessa. That's pretty exhausting keeping up Humphrey.
Nate "i mean, you and i are going to this Faculty and Friends mixer at the Hamilton House. you guys wanna come?"
Dan "no?"
Me "there's free appetizers, Dan"
Dan "oh okay. Fine. You wanna go see a movie afterwards?"
I shook my head "no can do"
Dan "oh, come on. It doesn't even have to have subtitles. "
Nate "Sounds great. No. Fla and i have this nice evening planned after the mixer . Got some champagne, new Matteo sheets. I'm hoping some recently purchased lingerie. "
Dan "it's for her, right?"
I laughed a little.

Me "i heard something about new lingerie? "

Nate "actually i did dream about that last night"

I smiled and saw Serena standing there.

Then i hung up and walked over to the girl.
Serena smiled at me "hello, stranger"
I smiled "hey"
Serena "nice seeing you again. I mean, i haven't seen you in a week. You and Nate must be good again?"
I nodded "Yes, we are. And i am happy again"
Serena smiled "i can see that"
Me "i heard about you and Dan, i'm sorry, S"

suddenly our phones buzzed.
I sighed annoyed and looked at it "This just in. Looks like you can take the girl out of the party but not the party out of the girl. Rumor has it our favorite blonde could be spreading more than just good cheer. And if it's true, then there's a test out there a few of you might not be able to pass. Does SVW have an STD..?"
I looked at Serena, shocked "What the hell?"
Serena shook her head "this is not good at all"
I nodded "but it's a lie, right?"
Serena nodded ,shocked "of course it is a lie, Fla, i'm clean"

suddenly our phones buzzed again.
I didn't even bother to look at it.
Serena looked at it and froze shocked.
Me "what is it now? "
Serena "you wanna see this"
I looked at my phone and my jaw dropped.

Me "It's an old photo. Look at it. My hair is way different than it is now"

Serena "who would lie to Gossip Girl like that?"
Blair "you guys want a list? i don't know if i have time"
Me "a good scandal is one thing. But even Gossip Girl likes to keep things classy and somewhat true. "
Serena sighed "i just wanted to focus on school"
Me "and i wanted to spent a week with my boyfriend without fighting "

I eyed Blair "why do i get the feeling your pep talk is not entirely meant for us?"

Me "he's bringing the battle to campus?"
Blair nodded "yes, well, i already have a battle plan. I found out Martha Chamberlin takes a student assistant when she lectures. That position will be my private island against the storm that it Chuck Bass"
Serena "if you won't let a disease like Chuck deter you what leg do i have to stand on? I'll plant myself in the squad, act like i don't have a care in the world. And e-mail my professor to see when he can meet. "
At the Hamilton House.At the party.
Nate's been ignoring me since the rumor about me and Carter was set in the world.

I was on my way down the stairs when i saw Nate walking up the stairs.
He froze when he saw me.
Me "Nate-"
Nate shook his head "don't even bother, okay? i don't wanna hear it, i've had enough. It's always the same with you and him"

Nate "Where were you really that night when we made up and you said you needed to go Blair's because she needed you? did you lie and went to him instead?"
I shook my head"i didn't lie, Nate"
Nate "so you're saying you didn't see him that night?"
I nodded "i saw him. "
He shook his head, scoffing.
Me "He wanted to say goodbye. He was being nice. nothing more happened"
Nate showed me the photo on Gossip Girl "that's what you call being "nice"?"
I sighed "Nate, look at it "
Nate nodded "I am looking at it and i still hate it"
I shook my head "no, Nate, i mean, look at it. Really look at it. I was still in my dress when i left your place. Ask Blair and Serena if you want but i went straight over there after Carter's goodbye. Nate i didn't leave the Penthouse to go anywhere else"
Nate "if what you're saying is true, how did someone get that photo of you kissing Carter? "
I shrugged "i don't know. all i know is that it's an old photo of us. My hair is way darker in that photo. Someone must've taken it the last time Carter and i were together. "
Nate looked at his phone.
I sighed and grabbed the phone "stop looking at it, Nate, i'm telling you the truth. Nothing happened. "
Nate asked confused "then who would post something like that?"
Me "the same person who lied about Serena's STD"
He nodded.
Me "Carter and I are friends, Nate-"
He scoffed, shaking his head "do me a favor and don't refer your thing with Carter as "friends", please"
I sighed "how do you want me to call it then? "
Nate "call it how it is. You are exes. You were dating on and off and now you are off"
Me "Carter is more than just some ex, Nate, you know that"
He nodded "Just because I know that doesn't mean that I like it"

He sighed but then nodded.
I nodded, smiling a bit exhausted "I love you"
He just nodded. He was still pissed.
I walked over to him and put my hands on his cheeks and he looked at me a bit pissed off.
I pouted a little " Natey"

I kissed him "do you love me?"
He put an arm around me and pulled me closer to him.
I smiled a little when he looked me in the eyes.
Me "I love your eyes"
He nodded, not smiling a bit.
Me "you're hot when you're jealous"
He just looked at me but pulled me closer.
I smiled and put my hands on his chest "you going to say something or not?"
Nate "I love you, Fla"
Me "I love you, too, Natey"
Nate grimaced a little "I love you but don't call me that, please"
I smiled "And it's because you love me you let me call you that"
He rolled his eyes. He kissed me before I could see his smile.
