"Aaaaaaah!" I scream when a splash of cold water hits my face. I open my eyes groaning and see lina hovering over me with a triumphant smile.
"What the hell Lina! Why did you do that?" I whine scrunching my face. I hardly got any sleep last night and was just able to close my eyes at 5:00 am, I want to sleep more.
"Because it's already 6:30 and you need to get ready for your first day," Lina says grinning from ear to ear," And this was the only way to wake you up, you literally ignored me when I called your name for like 50 times."
She pulls me up on my feet and pushes me towards the bathroom,"Come on now go shower. I have the perfect outfit for you."
I reluctantly go inside, not even having half of the excitment of ehat Lina has. I look at myself in the mirror and am not surprised to find my face sleep deprived. My eyes were red with lack of sleep and the dark circles were clearly visible. I sigh and enter the shower.
Wrapping myself in a towel I walk out of the bathroom after finishing the shower. I notice Lina holding a light blue crop t-shirt with high waisted black jeans, with a smirk on her face.
"Why do I have to were that on my first day?" I question glancing warily at the outfit.
"Because it's your first day and you have to look presentable so you could make some friends. Not that you need it because you are beautiful but your hoodies will definitely hide that face," Lina reasons.
I huff loudly getting annoyed at the constant pushing me to make friends,"Lina I don't wanna look presentable or make any friends. I just want to complete my junior year without causing trouble to myself or someone else. I don't want to cause unnecessary problems."
She flinched at my words and states sadly,"I want to do what's best for you Lee. I never got a chance to live my life because of my parents, but I want to help you out so you could atleast have a life. You are like a little sister to me, I don't want you to go through things which I went through. I really care about you. Wearing a nice outfit and making friends won't cause any trouble, it's just in your head."
I see her eyes glistening and immediately regret my words. She never got the chance to complete her senior year and was forced to do things which a sixteen year could never endure. But she is still standing strong for herself, for me.
"I know you care for me and so do I. But you need to understand that I can't act like a normal teenager because nothing is normal in my life," I say sadly shaking my head.
She sniffs and nods her head. I look at the outfit and consider wearing it to make her feel better,"But I guess I could wear that, I mean your choice isn't that bad," I joke to lighten the mood.
She smiles and passes me the clothes. I quickly wear them and apply some light makeup to cover my dark circles.
I pick my bag and phone. I bid goodbye to Lina and I walk down the stairs. I stop short when I see Percy standing near the door with Damon and Brandon.
"Thank God! You are finally up. I was done waiting," exclaimes Damon dramatically.
"Lee, I am here to tell you one last time. No socializing," Percy states sternly crossing his arms.
I mearly nod and ask hesitantly,"How am I gonna go to school?"
"What? Now you need a ride princess?" Percy asks dauntingly.
I lower my eyes and shake my head,"I will walk to school," I whisper and walk passed them to the front door.

I reach the school after walking for fifteen minutes and asking for directions from people passing by.
It is a huge building with students scattered around the front. I slowly walk towards the double doors and walk inside. People start looking at me and begin whispering. I am a very shy girl and I don't like attention especially when you are told not to gain attention. I lower my head and walk through the crowd to find the receptionist.
I hurriedly walk down the hallway with my head hanging down. But suddenly bump into someone and jerk back. Two hands hold my arms to stop me from falling.
"Shit! I am so sorry," I exclaim looking at the person's fallen sheets.
"It's alright, its my fault I wasn't looking," a husky voice says.
I look up and see light brown eyes looking at me intently. They are intense with liveliness swirling inside. He is gorgeous; is the first thought which comes to my mind. I mean I just cant deny the truth. Black hair, a sharp jawline which I bet girls swoon on. His lips are so-
Shut up! I hissed at my brain.
"Are you okay?" he questions breaking me out of my trance and I quickly pull away from him.
"Yeah I am good, I- " my words gets caught in my throat on seeing Percy walking through the school doors,his words echoing in my ears.
"I need to go and find the receptionist" with that I rush past him.
"Wait I can -" his voice calls out from behind me but I ignore him and walk away as fat as I can.
I find the receptionist after 5 minures of searching and grab my schedual. I find my locker and take the required books for the class. I walk inside my homeroom and quietly sit at the first bench situated in the corner.
The bell rings indicating the start of the school. The teacher walks inside and starts taking the attendance, one by one names go and mine comes next,"Everlee Bridge."
All heads turn to look at me and the teacher notices me. She checks my name and before she could say the nexr name three students burst through the class doors panting heavily, one is a pretty redhead and other two are boys.
The girl exclaims sweetly,"Sorry Mrs Wilson we are late, we came across a accident while coming to school and immediately called the ambulance. I mean we won't leave a lady dying now, would we?"
"Oh Lord! No, it's okay. You really did a great job by helping her go take your seats now," Mrs Wilson says with a kind smile.
The three of them search for seats and their eyes lands on the seat behind me. They make their way towards the seat and situate themselves on them. The red haired girl and one of the guy take the seat behind me and the brunette hair guy plops himself beside me.
"You saved us again babe,thank you so much," says the boy behind me and bows his head dramatically.
"You should thank me. This is the fifth time I am saving your lame asses this month," the girl says flipping her hair back.
"But you love our lame asses, Eve," the brunette haired guy states with a toothy smile.
She ignores him and turned towards me. She smiles at me,"Hey I am Eveleine and he is my boyfriend Wesley. And he is-"
"Blake," he interrupts her and extends his hand towards me with a grin.
I shyly take his hand and say,"Everlee."
"You are new here, right?" he asks and I reply him with just a nod.
"What's your first class Everlee?" Eveleine asks leaning forward.
"Literature" I answer her with a kind smile.
"Oh! That's good, Wes has the same class he can take you," she states and looks at Wes for approval.
"Yeah I will show you and also drop you to your next class. It would be hard for you to find the ckasses by yourselves," says Wesley.
Before I could deny them kindly Blake speaks up,"No Wes you go drop Eve as usual. I can take her and anyways I am better at showing people around," he finishes looking at me.
"No, its fine. I can go by myself you guys don't have to bother," I say quickly.
"No its not a problem. And trust me you will enjoy my company," Black says expectantly.
"He is lying. He is a total dumbass with zero brain cells and an irritating personality," exlaims Eveleine with narrowed eyes.
Blake just smiles smugly and says,"Eveleine never stops talking about herself, right Eve?"
"That was not funny at all," Eveleine says getting annoyed.
"Oh, your boyfriend thinks otherwise," Blake says pointing towards a chuckling Wesley.
"Wes!" whines Eveleine smaking his arm.
"I swear I am not laughing at you," says Wesley trying to control his laughter.
Eveleine just huffs and rolls her eyes at them. A smile breaks out on my face seeing there childishness.
"So, what's say?" Blake asks looking at me.
I don't want to say yes but then its just a class with him it won't be that bad. s
So I nod my head earning a grin from him.
