~Double's POV~
Great.. Halloween is today..
I shrugged it off.
I'm pretty sure it's not THAT bad..
.. Like in childhood years..
~Childhood Years~
"Martin! I told you! I'm not going!" I cross my arms in anger.
"Come on! It'll be fun!"
"You know I'm not a scary-type of person!" He just grabs my hand.
Makes me flushered, but other than that, he pulls me to the store.
He buys a costume. 2 vampire costumes to be exact.
He then buys a yellow-orange pattern tie.
~Back to Present~
"So.. That's how Bodil got that tie?"
"Dreadlox?! HOW THE FUC-"
"Shadow controls. Oh, and I'm reading your memory."
"Can you let me think for a moment..?"
"Okay, but I'm good still read your memory like it's my book."
~Back to Childhood Years~
"What's with the yellow-orange tie? Isn't Halloween like a dark colors event?"
"Doesn't matter. Why do you think there's pink fairy or princess costume?" Good point.
I just wear the vampire suit. I didn't really slide my hair properly like in the movies.
Not really a vampire fan if you ask me, but whatever.
I grab the fake fangs implants. I put it on.
We told each other's parents that we were going trick-or-treating.
Until we go to houses, Martin told me she wanted to show a friend that's also coming with us.
He drags me to the park. A kid with a melon-like hat and a orange shirt with a blue, aqua S on it.
"Hello Martin!" He sounds Bulgarian, with his accent and all.
~Back to Present~
"So that's how you met Sim-"
"Will you shut up? I let you read my memory and you're still distracting."
"Okay! Okay! Sorry."
~Back to Childhood Years~
"Simon, this is Ryan. Ryan, this is Simon."
"Nice to meet you." Simon and I shake hands.
"So.. Do you have a funny laugh?" That question came out of nowhere..
"He sounds like a dying dolphin." Martin starts to laugh.
To show an example, he tickles Simon.
He does sound like a dying dolphin..
.. Not being mean, of course.
We just continue to the houses.
Each house was all decorated. It was very creative on some of them.
But, we then stops at the last house.
Though, it wasn't like the other houses.
It was big, dark, pointy roofs.
Some pumpkins and graves surrounds the house.
Some webs stuck between the fences, and some slime coming down from the doorway..
It dips down onto the doormat. It was green. Looks like if it was glowing..
"Uh.. Who's house is this..?"
"I-I don't k-know.." Simon stutters, hugging his bag of candy.
"Oh come on guys! Stop being babies!" Martin just runs into the open door.
"Martin!" Simon and I ran along, into the house.
Inside, many skulls and webs around couches and chairs.
It was silent. Felt like we're being haunted..
Then, we hear creaks on the floors.
Turning around, 2 unusual things pops out at both of us.
"AHH!" We both scream.
"Bwhahahaha!" The lights comes on and we 3 boys there.
"Where's Martin?!"
"Don't overreact!" The boy with a white shirt with purple wings and purple glowing headphones shows Martin.
"Martin?! We're you in this too?!"
"Yea! You guys should have seen your faces!" He continues to laugh.
I cross my arms in anger and turns around.
"Oh come on. I'm sorry." He goes to me and pats my head.
"Okay. I forgive you."
"What about Simon?" We look to Simon, who was sitting on the floor, hugging his bag of candy.
"I've.. Seen.. Horrible things.." We giggle a little.
"By the way, who's the 3 boys?"
"Oh yea! This is Adam, Tyler, or Ty for short, and Jason." He introduces from left to right.
~Back to Present~
"There. You done now?"
"Yes?" Dreadlox just tilts over like an idiot.
I just facepalm.
"No wait.. Lemme read more.." I stay in silent.
He continues to read my memory. His eyes are grey by now, which means he's like paused in silent, or reading someone's memories.
It then turns red. "So.."
"So what?"
"You got screwed by Ma-"
"Don't. You. Dare." Exactly knowing what he meant, I cover his mouth, cutting off the sentence.
I uncover his mouth and just let myself drop onto the bed.
"Alright. You gotta get ready for Halloween. You can't just lay here."
"Make me." I roll over to my side.
"Oh you're on." He goes into me.
"Hey! Get out of me!"
"Nope." He says in my mind.
I couldn't control myself after that.
He forces me off the bed and makes me move to the basement.
Grabbing the decorations, he makes me float around, putting up the decorations fast.
"What's going on her-" Deadlox comes in, about to say something, but cuts his sentence after.
"Deadlox! Help me! Get Dreadlox out of me!" He takes off his headphones.
Tapping it twice, Ghostlox comes out and grabs Dreadlox out.
I land on the couch after.
"I found that funny to control him."
"Oh shut up!" I groan, putting my face in the pillow of the couch.
"Double! Let's go into our halloween costumes!" Bodil bursts in.
"What is it this time?" He holds up his clothes..
For being an idiot for a few minutes, I noticed he wore my blue shirt.
"Let's be ourselves this Halloween! And this time, a switch-up!"
"Okay.." I took his clothes and go to the bathroom to wear it on.
Apparently, it fits..
Getting out of the bathroom, I kind of looked like Bodil.
I just didn't have the shades.
He then gives it to me.
I wear it on. It was actually really dark.
Not to mention, it's night by now, so this could look more scary..
Bodil looks like me a bit too.
"Wow. This is adorable." Sakuya pops up out of nowhere.
Brittney is on Sakuya's back.
"What are you guys being?"
"Horse and princess. Sakuya horse, Me princess." Brittney smiles bright.
We laugh a little.
"You're not gonna horse ride her everywhere right?"
"Yea. I'm only putting her down once we get to a house."
Bodil and I smile as the children plays.
"Alright! To the houses!"
"We're coming too!" Ghostlox begs, grabbing Dreadlox.
I see his red blush coming up on his face.
I knew Dreadlox likes Ghostlox.
We all go out to the houses. Each house looked like the one years ago.
Stopping at the last one, it was actually..
Full of..
.. Pink..
We just knock. Then, a girl comes out.
~Sakuya's POV~
The girl looks familiar..
She then takes out a knife.
.. Huh.. I guess bringing this was a good idea.
"DON'T YOU DARE!" I hit the girl with a pan.
"What the heck?!"
"Don't you dare hurt my dad, Tiffany!"
"Okay.. Sakuya.. Calm down.." Brittney puts a hand on my shoulder.
I calm down.
"You little bitch.."
"Oh shush.."
Since she was down, the bowl of candy was spilled on the floor.
Looks like wrappers saved the candy.
We just grab some candy, putting it out bag, and run back home.
~Double's POV~
"What do you know.. It's not that scary this year."
"Of course it isn't!" Bodil just pats my shoulder.
Then, I turn around and a dark shadow with sharp teeth pops out at me.
"AH!" I scream, landing on Bodil.
"Wow. Didn't know that worked." Dreadlox spits out his sharp teeth and goes back to normal size.
"Well, thank you for SCARING ME TO DEATH MR. NON-EMOTION!"
"Sorry. I just wanted a little scare." Little..
.. How was that little..
I just sigh and stand back up, helping Bodil up.
"At least it was a good Halloween." Sakuya and Brittney cheers a little.
"True. But when did you get a pan for?"
"Um.. For in need of.. Protection?" He just smiles nervously.
"Okay then?"
"Let's just have some of that leftover cake from Double's birthday."
"I know! Let's decorate the cake with some of the candy we have!" Brittney cuts in.
"Good idea! It'll be fun and delicious!" Sakuya agrees.
All the other agrees too.
Throughout the night, we just decorate the cake with candy and eat them after.
