Mila has been staying in our home these days. They are staying in the same room all these days. She is with him the whole time when he is in the home. I will get home late daily so that I can avoid seeing them together.
They hang out most of the time when he is free and come home late. She clung to him closely. Pushing the thoughts aside and take my concentration back to the files I am having. This deal we are dealing with is very important to our firm. It's a multi billion dollars deal.
The presentation I have to submit tomorrow is really taking much time. I have been working on this for 4 days, but still, it's not done.
I am spending a sleepless nights on this. This man is making me do it again and again by identifying mistakes.
I don't know what will he say after seeing it. I think it's better to show him if it has any mistakes I can correct it now instead of tomorrow's hectic schedule.
Time is just 12 he will nap after 1 in midnight, so I decided to show him it now itself.
I went out of my room and walked towards his room, I heard some noises from his room. So he is awake. I knocked on the door for him to open.
It's been a few minutes, but he didn't open the door.
This time I knocked a little harder for him to hear. I heard something broke on the floor, I can also hear some loud footsteps.
The door opened to reveal angry Mila there in her lingerie and a see-through bathrobe. Are they doing that? But it's common for them, as it's they are lovers.
At least she should have worn something decently while coming out. What if its some other men who knocked the door other than me?

"Why the hell are you here at this time? Can't you see we are busy"
"I came here to see Ad... umm... Mr. Dev to show presentation, I don't know you were busy"
"You fucking whore is it the time to show him that nonsense or are you peeking in to see what we are doing?"

"No Ms. Mila, I don't have time to see your personal irritating activities. I came here to show him the presentation only"
"Such a useless in everyone's life and spoiling everyone happiness," she is boiling in anger.

But how can she be angry when I should be the one to be angry as she is with my husband. "What is going on here?"
He came out without a shirt on. I shouldn't have come here to witness this. I lowered my eyes. "Why are you always disturbing others?" He asked seeing me.
"Sorry sir, sorry to disturb you I will come morning" I said and turned to walk.
"Stop Ms. Hayer"
I stopped in my track.
"Why did you come here at this hour?"
"It's not important sir, I will see you at the office tomorrow"
"You don't have to order me around Hayer. It's you who have to do as I order" he said in an authoritative manner.
"Now turn around when I speak"
I turned to him but not looking at him. "Why did you come?" He inquired in a soft voice.
"To show the presentation sir" I whispered slowly enough for him to hear.
"Go to my study, I will be there in ten"
Nodding my head I went to the study to wait for him.
He came after 15 minutes and sat on his chair. As he passed by me, I can smell his strong Cologne, he might have taken a shower by looking at his wet hair.
He rugged his hand on his hair making him look more handsome.
Snap out of it Janvi, he has a lover.
He is checking the presentation to look for more mistakes. He is such an arrogant man who doesn't even give a simple smile to his employees.
Always rude and cold towards them but with Mila always in a happy mode and not to mention romantic mode.
I hate it when he is always rude to me and not being the way he is with her.
He stopped in his track from doing work and kept my laptop aside and stared me.
Did I do another mistake? Now I have to make another presentation.
"Sorry sir I will make it again"
"What will you make again?" He asked.
"The presentation sir," I said.
"You don't have to Hayer, it's good"
Am I hearing it correctly? Is he praising me? In the way a compliment?
"Ok sir," I said and extended my hands to get the laptop.
"What?" He asked.
"Laptop sir," I said.
"Are you leaving?" and I nodded.
"Sit Ms. Hayer, I am not done yet"
He is confusing me more.
"What are you doing in front of my room?"
"I am doing nothing like she said sir, I am just there to show the presentation to you. If there are any mistakes I can amend them today itself"
"Then why did you want to run away seeing me"
I can't see you with others Idiot. And I know you won't ever understand me.
"I don't know you were doing that, so I don't want to disturb you"
"What is that Ms. Hayer?"
This is embarrassing.
Really an idiot I am, to speak about my husband with another woman.
"Answer me, Hayer"
I stayed still.
"You mean that we are having sex?"
I closed my eyes tightly looking down, even hearing that, how can he speak so easily as it means nothing.
"Sir, it's late, I better leave"
"Stay still" he ordered.
"Why are you embarrassed hearing these words?"
"I am leaving sir," I said and got up to collect my laptop.
He quickly stood from his chair and came to me, leaning over the table with my back on it. He kept his hands on both my sides.
"Do you think, I am having sex with her?"
I nodded looking down not wanting to see his gaze. I will surely tear up seeing them.
He lowered his head to me and placed his nose on my forehead while his finger lifted me by my chin.
I feel different entirely different like I am flying. Even his simple touch is making me crazy with continuous shivers.
His lips are on my nose, he slightly peaked it.
I closed my eyes tightly to control my tears.
"Does it hurt to see me with another woman other than you?" He asked.
Yes, like hell.
Please don't make me cry Adi.
"Speak up Janvi"
"No" I lied.
"Say it looking into my eyes" No, I can't. And Mila is there waiting for him. Yes Mila, how can he be close with me when his lover is waiting for him.
I pushed him away making distance between us.
"Sir, your girlfriend is waiting for you"
"Fuck"
I went out and close the door. I heard some shattering sound. Why is he mad?
I get into my room and closed the door and let out my breath that I am holding till now. I will lose myself I am with him this close.
I can't sleep peacefully thinking about today. He is ruling my mind and thoughts. I took another pill and get into the mattress again.
