I love her. Everything about her. As I sit here wondering why, I think back to all the good times. Alice standing beside me hugs my leg. I smooth her hair down behind her head and she starts to sob again. I remember Alice being born. The day Carter took her. Starring at Heather as she walked the halls at school. I remember looking for Alice. Searching to the ends of the earth to find her. Asking Heather to marry me. Our wedding day. The honeymoon. I smirk at that time. Best two weeks of our lives. I could never erase the smile off her face. I loved seeing her happy. Seeing her in pain made me feel it. I remember when we found out we were pregnant with Joseph. Both of us over joyed.
