Welcome to the Part One of The Semifinal round of Kover Karnival.
Yes...You read it right.
The Semifinals will be in two parts and this is Part One. Why in two parts? You'll know by the end of this chapter. So make sure you read everything carefully.
Before we dive into the task...Kover Karnival had hit the mark of 5K views in a very short period of time and don't know how to even thank everyone for this. This was supposed to be a noob Cover Contest for such inexperienced amateurs like us but it turned out more than we ever had expected :")
We don't know what we should do to celebrate this milestone. So if you want us to do anything Special... you can leave your suggestions ❤️
Moving on to the big thing...
What is every author's biggest dream or desire these days?
Getting their books published you say? Naah.... that's old story.
Today, every budding author dreams of having their books adapted into a movie or a drama series. So many of the famous books have been converted into some drama or movie in the past year or this year itself. It's like the next big thing for authors all over the world these days.
We're guessing that by now you might've got some idea of what this round will be about. But trust us.... you've guessed not even half of it.

Dear Semifinalists, your challenge for this round should you choose to accept, is to make ALL of the following things:
✓a book cover
✓a movie/drama adaptation teaser poster for that book
✓a banner/hoarding for the movie/drama
✓character aesthetics/moodboards for the movie/drama (atleast 3 characters)
The book can be either a pre-existing one that hasn't been adapted in a movie/drama yet...or something fictional that you come up with.

This round will be a TEAM EVENT!!
*distant gasps*
(Now this is a really important part coz you'll know why the Semifinals are gonna be in two parts.)

This round is going to be a team round and hence there'll be a few changes in marking and eliminations.
•The entries should be sent together and not one by one. Please send them only once all the components are completed. Any one of the team member can send them.
• The watermark to be used this time should be one common watermark representing the whole team.
• There will be NO individual marking in this round. AND there will be no eliminations in Part One of Semifinals.
• The scores and reviews will be given to the team based on their performance as a group.
• It doesn't matter if the members divided the graphics among themselves, or everyone did some part of everything or even if one member made all of it....if the end results aren't good, all of you will be equally affected.
• And by affected we mean that the lowest scoring team would go in DANGER ZONE...which will make them prone to eliminations in Part Two of Semifinals along with the person eliminated in that round, even if they performed good then. There will be three members in every group out of which ONLY ONE will make it safely to the Finals if their team goes in Danger Zone. Thus, Semifinals will have three participants eliminated by the end.

So we have the teams now. You can choose your own themes but make sure all of your entries atleast follow the theme or idea and don't look absurd together. We'll not be specifying any measurements or specific requirements since y'all already know the basic ones and rest of them are upon you to choose.
Since this task has so many things to do, the duration for this round will be longer. The last date to submit your entries is 26th September 2019, 11:59pm GMT+0.
And make sure to post the entries (all of them) in your respective books/portfolios along with sending it to either of the hosts.
