Q.2) How long have you been into Graphic Designing?

Since Dec 2017, which makes me an editor for about 2 years now, although I did have about 3 months of hiatus in between those 2 years.

Q.3) What got you into Graphic Designing?

Initially I joined Wattpad to write stories, that was during Oct of 2017. After 2 months, the app became boring to me, so I looked for a different hobby other than writing, a friend of mine was already into graphic editing, I decided to check her works and soon became quite interested with the idea of editing, so I figured why not give it a go. and I continued making more, until it just became a hobby.

Q.4) Are there any other designers whose work inspired you?

My friend, in which I stated earlier, was the very reason why I discovered and started. She's a great inspiration to me. And as I continued on editing I met more editors and soon became my reason to improve and continue on with editing, even tho I had numerous attempts to quit.

Q.5) What applications or softwares do you like to use for designing and why?

Ibispaint x , as being a mobile editor ( apparently I'm too broke for ps even tho that's definitely the superior editing software there is ) ibispaint x is the next best thing to use. But also I should say PicsArt, it was my fav for a year, I learned a lot of things from that app. I think it's worth a mention.

Q.6) What type of covers do you like making and why?

Nowadays, I find manips that involves quite heavy photo manipulating ( face swap, changing the background, tons of pngs etc. ) I find them really fun to make, and very rewarding once finished. but I still find myself coming back to simple style edits once in a while.

Q.7) How do you create your designs, what is your design creative process?

Whenever I edit, I start with a simple wip, like putting every components I want in the whole canvas ( in a messy and unorganized manner—kinda like when you do art projects irl ) it'll look like a strange mixture of pngs at first because after that I'll visualize how I want the end product to look. Then just make whatever I end up conceptualizing . Although I have different processes depending on the graphic style, but since I make more manips these days this is what I do.

Q.8) Where do you get your inspirations from?

Inspiration comes from various things, it could be from other edits done by amazing editors here in wattpad, sometimes browsing DeviantArt until I get inspired. But I mostly get mine from music ( considering the amount of edits I made that are inspired from kpop mvs)

Q.9) How are you feeling about being the runner of the First Season of Kover Karnival?

honestly, the fact that I rushed my edit ( I seriously forgot about the deadline for kover karnival as school exams and a thesis due the next week, was ongoing irl for me ) it's really unexpected that I still won with that last minute edit, I swear I was convinced that I will lose the moment I sent my entry . But for reals, I may not express it that much but I'm really happy and thankful for the win ♡

Q.10) Any piece of advice for the budding graphic designers out there?

The improvement when editing will always be unnoticeable, for days, even weeks you won't see a difference from your edits, it gets unmotivating at times but don't let that stop you . Improvement is not instantaneous, you will fail at time, mistakes will be made, and that's normal . If you have an idea, make it happen . Just continue practicing and practicing, and eventually you'll see what I mean . As the time will come, and you'll look back at your works and see how much you've grown, and how great you've become  ♡
