"You okay? Is he okay?"
"Yeah, we're fine.. you're okay, huh, Thomas?
You're so big, baby boy! Evan, he's so chubby!"
"He is! Look at those rolls!" Evan chuckles.
"I know!
Oh my gosh, I can't believe this is happening! What is it with me and not being able to have my boys at the hospital?" Jessica laughs.
"I know! You did great, baby. Just one more!" Evan quickly turns to give her a smile.
"One more! Baby Hudson, we're ready for you! Well.. Almost!"
"Yes! Please wait till we get out of the car. We're begging you!" Evan chuckles.
Jessica smiles softly as she begins to breathe deeply.
"You okay?"
Jessica nods and rubs her stomach.
"Yeah, I'm okay.. thanks."
Evan stops at the light and turns to Jessica.
He leans towards his wife and kisses her cheek.
Jessica puckers her lips then smiles softly.
"I love you, Princess."
"I love you too, baby."
Evan then smiles down to the baby and kisses his head.
"Tommyyy! You just slid out, bud!" He chuckles and gently caresses his finger on his tiny arm.
"He did, didn't he?" Jessica giggles.
"And he is a cutie pie! Aren't you buba?
Yes you are! Yes you are!" She baby talks.
The baby lets out a tiny cry as he swings his arms.
"Shh, shh.. you're okay, mama's here." Jessica pats his back.
She then pulls her shit off to put the baby against her chest.
"There we go.. better, huh? Can you hear mama's heart now? Mama's heart makes things alllll better!" Jessica smiles and kisses his head.
She then sighs and lays her head back.
"I made a mess in your car!"
"Eh it's okay! You bought it anyway." Evan shrugs making Jessica laugh.
"I'll get it cleaned and she'll be good as new!"
"Heh! Oh gosh, what will Sam and Christopher think? They're gonna be shocked, aren't they?"
"Oh yeah!" Evan chuckles.

A few minutes later they arrived at the house.
Evan honked five times before getting out to help Jessica.
"What are you two doing? Ah! You have a baby! AHH! Jessica, you're naked?!" George shouts, covering his eyes.
"What are you doing here, George?"
"I came to visit. Sam was just telling me your water broke! You had a baby already?"
"She had a baby in the car and there's one more on the way, let's get her in the house!"
George moves out of the way, and Evan helps Jessica in.
"Mom?! What the hell?!" Christopher shouts.
"No swearing, Christopher James!"
"WOAH! I should go!" Sam's eyes widen.
"NO! You stay!" Isabella demands, stomping her little foot and pointing to the ground.
"Ohhhh!" Jessica moans.
"MOMMY!" Isabella looks at Jessica with a worried expression.
"Mommy's fine." Jessica breathes heavily. "The baby wants to come out, honey.."
"Mama got a baby?"
"Yeah, you see the baby she's holding? That's your brother! There's another one coming soon." Sam smiles down to Isabella.
"Ohhh.. babyyyy.." Isabella just stared with a blank expression.
"Oh God! Jessica shouted. "This hurts so bad!" She cries.
Evan softly caresses her shoulder.
"You're doing so well, Princess." He says in a low voice.
"I don't want to do this." Jessica whines.
"It's almost over, baby girl. Hudson's on his way."
"I don't want to have anymore babies."
"These are our last two, sweetie! Any more and I'll lose my shit." He says making a tiny chuckle escape her lips.
"I love you, Princess."
"I love you too, baby.."
Evan smiles softly as he stares at her. Her eyes shut, her brows furrowed and her lips pouted.
He kisses Jessica's sweaty temple just as her pain level shoots up once again.
"Owww.. Shit!"
"Breathe honey. Innn.. and ouuut.. good job, baby girl."
"Fuck.." Jessica says in a low voice.
"Ohhhh he's coming! Evan, you need to cut the cord."
"Okay!" Evan then widens his eyes and turns away from Jessica. "I NEED SCISSORS!" He shouts as he opens and closes his fingers like a pair scissors.
"I'll grab some!" Sam runs off.
"What do I do?!" George asks.
"Take the baby and wrap him up after we cut the cord.. Ow!" Jessica breathes heavily.
"Mommy?" Isabella cries.
"Mommy's okay, baby girl. Hudsie's coming!"
"Mama.." She points her little finger to her mother, with a pout on her face.
Christopher then walks over and picks his up his little sister.
"Hey! Hey, momma's okay. She just needs to get the baby out, that's why she's in so much pain.
Do you want me to take you to your room?"
"No.. want to sheee.."
"Okay, Pumpkin." Christopher kisses her cheek.
"Baby come out of mommy tummy?" Isabella looks up to her big brother with her tiny hand flipped up.
"Yeah, he's gonna come out! Thomas is already here. Look! He's over there!"
"Woah.. bubba!" Isabella was in shock. Things were finally becoming more clear to her.
"Yeah." Christopher smiles and kisses her cheek.
"I found scissors!" Sam runs in.
"Don't run with scissors, Samuel!" Jessica says.
"Sorry!" Sam covers his mouth and hands them to Evan.
"Ohhh.. I need to push."
"I'll take the baby. I have blankets!" George says.
"Careful with him. Keep him warm." Jessica hands him over.
"I will, sis."
"Thanks. Oh God! I feel so much pressure!"
"Go ahead and push, babe. You know what you're doing. You can do this. Big pushes, okay?"
Jessica nods her head as tears roll down her cheeks.
She then takes a deep breath, pulls her legs back, and pushes as hard as she can.
"Ahh!"
"I shouldn't be here." Sam turns to Christopher.
"Shh! Look.. the baby's head." Christopher's eyes were wide.
Yes, it was a weird group, but that's just how it worked out.
Everyone gave Jessica complete silence as she gave it her all to push her baby out.
"Ow.." Jessica breathes heavily.
"Good baby, just breathe."
"How did I end up in this position? That's what I get for coming over here for free food and beer!"
"Shut up, George!" Jessica grunts.
"Oh that's bulging! Do I need to get any boiled water?"
"Just hold the baby, George!" Evan says.
"I can't push laying on this couch!"
"You want to get on your knees? It worked for getting Thomas out."
"Yeah.." Jessica breathes heavily. She then climbs up onto her knees and takes Evan's hands. Evan was standing behind the couch.
Evan pushes her hair out of her face and kisses her sweaty cheek.
"You've got this, Princess. One big push!"
Jessica's bottom lip quivers and Evan's heart breaks for her.
"Aw baby girl! Honey, you're so strong! Just stay focused on baby Hudson, okay? Tommy is here and he needs his little brother Hudsie!"
"Hudsie!" Jessica cries.
"Yeah beautiful, he's almost here!"
"Okay.. I'm gonna push now."
"Okay." Evan chuckles and rubs her back.
"Somebody needs to make sure the baby doesn't fall on his head."
"Nose goes!" George quickly touches his nose.
"George, will you stop?!" Jessica shouts with tears rolling down her cheeks.
"I'll head down south, baby." Evan kisses her nose, then makes his way to her bottom half.
"I'm right here, I'll catch him!" Evan chuckles.
"Okay, I'm pushing!" Jessica says in a strain.
Evan smiles at her cuteness and rubs her back.
"This little baby is hungry, he's sucking the crap out of his hands." George says looking down to Thomas.
"Isabella!" He smiles. "You wanna see the baby?"
"Wait! I want to see them when they all meet! Christopher and Isabella, stay away from the baby until this one is out and my ass is covered up!" Jessica shouts.
"Yes ma'am. Don't worry, momma." Christopher smiles softly.
"And George!"
"Yeah?"
"SHUT UP!"
"Sorry.."
"Keep pushing, baby!"
Jessica takes a deep breath and bears down.
"Ahhh! OH HIS HEAD IS BIGGER THAN TOMMY'S! Owwwwww!"
"It's okay, baby."
Jessica stops pushing and breathes in and out.
"Honey, everytime you stop pushing, he goes back up."
"Yeah, I know!" Jessica says in an irritated voice.
"I need to squat. Help me."
Evan moves and helps her into the ground.
"OH! DAMMIT!"
"You're okay. Big push!"
"Ughhh! Ow.." Jessica grunts and pushes as hard as she can.
Once the contraction passed, Jessica reached down and felt her baby's head.
"He feels stuck.. and big. I need a warm towel and I need you to apply pressure as I push."
"Got it, baby. A warm towel! I need a warm towel!" Evan shouts as Jessica gets on all fours, and takes deep breathes.
Jessica breathes through a few contractions as Sam gets a warm towel.
"Here you go!"
"Thank you, Sam.
Oh.. alright, I'm gonna lay down.. I need you to hold it as I push." Jessica says to Evan.
"I'm afraid I'm going to tear, so we have to do this!"
"Okay. I'll do whatever you need me to do, babe."
Jessica closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.
She then pulls her legs back and pushes as hard as she can.
"That's it! Woah! Yeah, he's coming! Oh my gosh!" Evan smiles. "His little forehead" He chuckles.
"OW! OH GOD!" Jessica moans.
"Breathe, breathe."
"Oh shiiiit.."
"Da baby!" Isabella's eyes widen, her jaw drops, and she points to her mother.
"Woah! His head came out!" Christopher laughs.
"Peek-a-boo!" Isabella giggles.
Jessica breathes through the burning sensation, but couldn't help but chuckles at Isabella.
She then switches her position once again.
Jessica places her hand on her baby's head as she pushes.
Isabella covers her mouth and giggles.
"Look at mama face!"
Jessica's face was scrunched up as she pushed.
"Shh!" Christopher laughs quietly.
Jessica pushes once again, and finally the baby slides out.
"Oh! Oh my gosh! Oh my baby boy! Hi! Hi, handsome!" Jessica says to her newest baby.
"He's here!" Evan smiles.
He then kisses Jessica's lips.
"I love you! I love you so so much!"
"I love you too!"
Jessica then looks down at the baby.
"He's not crying.. why isn't he crying?" She panics.
"His color is good. He's moving. I think he's just quiet, baby." Evan says.
"Well I need to hear him cry! Come on, Hudson. Don't make me spank you!" Jessica rubs his back.
"Please cry for mama!"
"WAAAAHHH!"
"Oh thank God!" Jessica takes a sigh of relief.
"Oh he listens so well!" She says kissing the top of his head.
"Baby too loud!" Isabella makes a face and covers her ears. "SHHHH!"
"Bellie!" Christopher chuckles.
"Too loud.."
Jessica looks up and smiles.
"George, will you bring Tommy, please?
Chris and Bellie, come meet your baby brothers!"
Christopher smiles and walks to his mother.
"Wow.. I've always wanted a brother.. now I have two!" He chuckles.
Jessica gives her oldest a big smile.
"Babyyyy.. HI!" Isabella waves.
Jessica giggles.
"Aren't they cute?"
"No." Isabella nods her head.
"Ah! What?!" Jessica laughs.
"No cute."
"Well they're all bloody and full of Mommy's insides right now. Wait till we clean them." Evan says.
Isabella smiles and reaches for Evan.
"Daddy!"
"Come here, Princess. You look so big now!"
"I wittle."
"Oh okay!" He chuckles and kisses her chubby cheek.
"Jess?"
"Yes, George?"
"Here's a blanket. The babies are out, so cover up."
"Heh! Thanks."
"Don't mix them up. They could live their lives being the wrong twin!"
"I'll be careful." Jessica laughs.
".. You did good, sis." George lightly punches Jessica's arm.
"Thanks, little brother!" She smiles.
"I love you but.. watching you push the baby out is gonna cost you."
"Heh! Alright. I'll make it up to all of you." Jessica turns to smile at Sam.
Sam fought his tears and smiled.
"It's no problem. It was cool to witness."

Jessica delivered the after birth and Evan helped clean her up. She was now laying in her bed breastfeeding the twins.
"Wow! I've never fed two at one time before! This is soooo weird!"
Evan chuckles and kisses Jessica's cheek.
"You did a beautiful job, Princess."
"Thank you. I'm so happy it's over!"
"Me too! Giving birth is stressful!"
"Heh! I suppose it's stressful for you too."
"Oh God, Yes! I was so worried something was going to go wrong! But you did it! You so so well!"
"Thank you, honey." Jessica smiles.
Soon the twins were finished eating, and Evan and Jessica were each burping a baby.
"Hey.. can I come in?" Sam asks.
"Sure, Sammy!" Jessica smiles. "What's up?"
"Well uh.. I just wanted to speak with you.. well I wanted to apologize.."
"For what?"
"Um.."
"I can give you two some space." Evan says.
"It's okay, I just-"
"It's no problem." Evan smiles.
"I'm gonna check on Bellie."
"Okay, baby." Jessica smiles.
Jessica looks down to the baby and speak in a cute voice. "Say, have a seat Uncle Sam!"
Sam smiles very softly and sits in front of Jessica.
"What's up, Sam?"
"Jess.. seeing you give birth.. it made me so proud.."
"Aw!"
"But at the same time it killed me."
"Oh.. I'm sorry.."
"No! No uh.. well I missed Christopher's birth."
"I didn't make it to the hospital!" Jessica chuckles. "He didn't give you the time to be there!"
"Yeah but you and I both know that even if he had taken 20 hours to come, I still wouldn't have been there.
.. I missed my son's first breath, and that's something I'll never get back. I.. I caused us to lose our daughter.." Sam begins to choke up.
"Sam, no. Don't." Jessica places her hand on him.
"It's okay. We've both grown. You're not that person anymore. I've forgiven you."
"I will always hate myself for I did to us and our children. I will forever be sorry. I'm just so happy you found Evan. You deserve to be happy, Jessica."
"Aw.."
"Congratulations on the babies.. on Isabella.. on Evan! You have the life you've always deserved."
Jessica smiles softly and places her hand on Sam's cheek. "You're a changed man, Samuel Roger Shepard.
I love you.. and I will always love you. Our past is our past. One day you and I will meet our baby girl.. but until then you have to think about this....
This is something a friend told me a while after she passed. It was something I found comfort in.
Some angels are sent to us for a little.. they have a mission.. and when their mission is complete.. they leave." Jessica says as tears slowly roll down her cheeks.
"Our baby girl was an angel. She was never meant to stay here. When she was sent to us.. she made me a different person. Since that day I found out I was pregnant, I became a mother. She was the person who made me see what life was truly all about. She changed me completely. Her.. absence.. it made me stronger. Now it's hitting you. But she's looking down on you.. her daddy!" Jessica smiles through her tears.
Sam then cries even more.
"She's watching you, and she's helping you! Why do you think you're such a changed man? It's because of her, honey!"
"Yeah.. that's true.. that's a beautiful way to think of it." Sam sniffles.
"I love you, Jess."
"I love you too, Sammy." Jessica then leans forward and kisses him.
Jessica wipes his tears then looks down.
"Tommy, tell Uncle Sam to stop crying and to be happy! Tell him that your sissy is okay!"
Sam smiles softly.
"Do you think she played with them before they got here?"
"Absolutely! Bellie still has dreams about her.
Pretty baby, is what she calls her." Jessica smiles.
"I like to think it's our baby girl."
"That's amazing."
"I know.."
Sam takes a deep breath.
"I better get going. Congratulations. Incredible job today! I mean, holy shit!"
"Heh! Thanks!"
Sam smiles softly and kisses her forehead.
"I'll see you later, Jessie."
"I'll see ya."
