I felt all better today so I could go back to school. I went straight to my classes and handed in my work to my teacher, Mr Jones class, I knocked on the door but he didn't answer so I put my hand on the handle and tried to see if it was open which it was, I slowly opened the door and peaked in.
"Mr Jones? " I spoke but no one answered
I opened the door more and looked around Mr Jones wasn't in his classroom, I walked in then closed the door behind me then walked over to his desk and put my work down on it.
"I should leave a note," I told myself out loud
I looked around his desk for a sticky note but couldn't find one so I started going through his draws, I know I shouldn't but I need a sticky note, I looked through the last draw, I moved a picture in a frame and stopped in shock, there was more picture out of frames just laying around, I picked them up and looked throw them, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I heard the door handle, I quickly put the pictures back and picked up my work just as Mr jones opened the door and looked at me shocked but it didn't last long.
"Oh, hello lily" he smiled "What can I do for you ?"
"Sorry Mr Jones, I came to give you my work, I was going to leave it on your desk," I told him
"That's alright, I'll take it and get it marked before you are here for class" he smiled at me
"Ok, thank you, sir" I fake smiled
I felt really nervous, I just wanted to get out of there but I couldn't just run out of there.
"How are you feeling now?" He asked me
"I'm feeling a lot better" I nodded "Thank you for asking"
"I worry about my students" He smiled
"Well I'll leave you alone, I need to go meet up with my friends who will be worried sick about me" I made an excuse to leave
"Yes of course" Mr Jones smiled
I fake smiled back then left the classroom and ran down the hall to find someone. I guess I wasn't paying attention when I was running because I ended up pumping into someone which made me land on my bum with a thud, I looked up only to see David, my old bully, I haven't seen him in a while not even around the school.
"Sorry" I mumbled and started to get up
"I'm sorry, Lily, I wasn't looking where I was going," David said then held out his hand for me to take
I looked at him worried not sure if I should take his hand.
"I won't do anything bad," He told me
I slowly took his hand, I felt uncomfortable taking his hand but he pulled me up and then let my hand go as soon as I was on my feet.
"You seem scared are you alright?" He asked before I could runoff
I looked up at him confused not sure why he is asking me that.
"I-I'm ok" I stuttered then mentally slapped myself for stuttering.
"I think there is something wrong but you just don't want to tell me" David spoke while looking down "And I get why you don't, I was horrible to you for no reason"
I didn't know what to say, I think he is only being nice because he knows I'm part of the goth family.
"Come on I'll take you to Spider or Wolfy" David sigh then he started to walk away but stopped when he noticed I wasn't following him
"Come on" he chuckled
I nodded and then followed him to find Spider but we came across Tucker first so David headed over to Tucker.
"Yo, tucker have you seen Spider ?" David asked him once he reached him
"No, why are you looking for him, didn't think you two were friends" Tucker hadn't noticed he standing behind David yet
"We aren't friends, I'm looking for him because lily looked scared so I thought I would help her look for Spider or wolfy," He told tucker
I stepped to the side so Tucker could see me which he did, Tucker looked down at me and little smiled.
"What's wrong beautiful?" Tucker asked
I looked at him confused then shook my head " Nothing just need them" I mumbled
Tucker glared at David "Did you do something to her again?"
"What! no, I didn't, I found her as this" David glared back at Tucker
"I'm fine" I lied then crossed my arms over my chest annoyed like they were treating me like a child
"Sure you are" Tucker smiled then winked at me
All I could do was roll my eyes at him which of course made him laugh lightly.
"Well I'll take Lily to find wolfy and Spider," Tucker told David
"No, it's cool, I'll take her" David shrugged
"Do you think I'll leave you alone with her after what you did ?" Tucker glared at David again
"Says you who didn't even know she existed until you found out she was a goth" David argued back
"At least I didn't hurt her" Tucker argued back
I wanted them to stop arguing over something so dumb both were different until they found out I was a goth. I rolled my eyes and then sighed before I walked away from both of them. I walked around the halls until I found ash and josh then I ran up to them, they had their backs on me so I run up to Josh and then jumped onto his back.
"Boo!" I shouted in his ear
Josh jumped a little but he managed to keep me on his back
"Hi, we've been looking for you, where were you?" Ash asked
"I was handing in my work then bumped into David who was helping me find spider and wolfy" I sighed
Ash looked around trying to find him.
"Where is he?" She asked
"I left him arguing with tucker," I told her
She looked at me confused, I shook my head at her "Forget it, I don't get it either"
Ash shrugged then we walked to class well I got carried to our class, and once we reached our class Josh put me back on to my feet so I walked into the classroom and sat down. I couldn't concentrate on class my mind kept going back to the pictures I saw, I couldn't understand why he would have them. I walked to my next class with ash and Josh they were talking away but I couldn't hear anything they were saying. I couldn't help but sight lightly, my head started spinning I walked over to the wall and leaned against it, I put my hand on my head. I couldn't see anything. I slide down the wall until I was sitting on the floor. I could hear voices but they sounded so far away. I felt someone help me up just before I passed out. I opened my eyes to see a white ceiling, I put my hand on my head.
"You're finally awake" I heard someone says
I turned my head to the side to see Mr Jones sitting on the chair next to the bed I was lying on, I looked around and noticed I was in sickbay at school.
"What happened?" I asked
"You fainted but in the hall," He told me
"Sorry, I caused you trouble," I said
"No, you didn't, it's no trouble at all," He told me "I phoned your parents, they should be here soon to get you"
"I didn't mean for this to happen" I sigh then started to sit up
"You shouldn't have come back to school if you didn't feel well," Mr Jones told me
"I felt fine, I guess I just got stressed out too much" I might while I sat right up on the bed
"What are you stressing over?" He asked me
"It's no importing" I shook my head
I couldn't tell him, it was because of the pictures I saw in his desk drawer. I wanted Mr or Mrs goth to show up or even any of the maids as soon as possible so I didn't have to lay sit here with Mr Jones just as I thought that, there was a knock on the door and the school nurse walked in with Mrs Goth behind her and Mr Goth as well. Mrs goth walked straight over to me and hugged me.
"You should have told us, you still didn't feel well," She told me
"I was feeling fine," I told her
Mrs goth let me go and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Are you stressed about something ?" Mr goth asked
"I think so" I looked down
"Lily, if something stresses you out, you should let us and we will always listen and try to help you out," Mr Goth told me
"I know, I'm sorry" I spoke
I looked back at Mr Jones who was smiling and looked kind of proud which is weird. After that, I went home with Mr and Mrs goth, still thinking about the pictures in his drawing and the smile on his face.
