Next day. Morning.
I turned around in bed, expecting Nate to be there but the side was empty.
I opened my eyes and looked around "Nate?!"
No answer.
I sat up and called out " Natey! you here?"
Then i got out of the bed and walked downstairs.
Eleanor was standing there, looking at some designs.
I smiled "good morning, Eleanor"
She smiled at me "good morning, Flavia. How are you feeling?"
Me "fine and you?"
She smiled "same"
Me "You don't happen to know where Nate, do you?"
Eleanor "oh, Nathaniel..yeah, he left around an hour ago"
I froze "what? are you sure?"
She nodded "Yes"
I nodded "huh, interesting".
Then i walked upstairs back into the bedroom. I sat down on the bed and called Nate.
Nate answered "hey, baby"
Me "hey to you, too. You know, falling asleep next to you after 2 weeks was great but waking up would've been way better. Where are you?"
Nate "out on a coffee?"
I raised an eyebrow "alone?"
Suddenly i heard a woman's voice "is that Flavia?"
My jaw dropped "Are you with another woman? wait, is that Juliet?"
Nate sighed "Baby, calm down, it's just a coffee"
I nodded "Yeah, Nate, the last time you and i had a coffee ended up in morning sex"
Nate "and i remember. "
I nodded "Yeah, am i going to see you today or are you spending your day with her?"
He chuckled.
Me "I'm dead serious, Nate"
Nate "Your sister is coming back today. We wanna meet up at Dan's loft. see you there?"
I nodded "You but she's not gonna be before evening"
Nate "i know ,love you"
Me "love you, too"
Then i hung up, confused. okay what the hell was that?
At Dan's loft.
I walked inside and saw mom there.
I smiled "hey mom"
She smiled "hey, darling. Where's Nate?"
Me "i'm meeting him here"
Mom asked confused "you didn't spent the day together?"
I shook my head "no"
Mom asked worried "are you two doing all right? you seemed fine to me yesterday?"
I nodded "well, i can't speak for Nate but i don't see any problem or anything. But,...i don't know"
She gave me a soft smile.
suddenly Serena walked inside "hey, guys"
I smiled and hugged her "hey, honey"
Mom hugged her "what are you doing here, darling?"
Serena "Laryssa told me where you were. I came straight from the airport"
Mom "Well, we have a surprise for you"
I nodded "wouldn't surprise me if you black out from the surprise"
Serena "Great, but first, i wanna find Dan "
Suddenly Nate walked inside "find me? i'm right here."
Serena smiled and turned around "Dan. And Vanessa"
Vanessa walked in behind him.
Serena fake laughed "hey, haha"
Vanessa grabbed Dan's hand and i nodded, impressed.
Suddenly Nate walked in with Juliet
Nate "hey, Serena"
Me "and Nate. And Juliet"
She smiled and gave me a quick wave "hi"
I just fake smiled "hi"
I don't like her. Like i don't like her at all. Not one single bit. Like nothing, nada!
Nate to Serena "This is Juliet"
Serena "hi. "
Juliet smiled "nice to meet you"
Then she moved closer to Nate. Like they were touching.
Serena looked at me confused while i eyed them with a clenched jaw. Nate doesn't even seem to notice her actions.
Rufus walked in from behind us with Milo in his arms "hey, Serena"
Serena turned around and her jaw dropped "oh. Rufus and baby?"
Dan took the baby "Hey buddy. This is Milo. He's my son"
Serena's jaw dropped even more "Son"
She turned around to Vanessa.
Vanessa "you saw me four months ago. If you thought i was pregnant i'm offended"
Serena "okay is someone gonna fill me in?"
I shook my head and grimaced "You're gonna regret that question"
Nate nodded "sure"
Dan "i will explain everything. Just sit down. I gotta get him a bottle"

Nate was sitting on the couch next to Juliet. She was sitting extremely close to him. She was so trying so hard for his attention that he doesn't even realize i'm here.
I was with Serena.
Serena whispered "did i miss something between you and Nate?"
I shook my head "well, looks like i missed something between me and Nate"
she looked at me confused.
I shook my head "i have no idea what is going on. Like no idea at all"
Serena "you better fix it if you wanna keep him."
Me "Serena, i trust him. Besides i didn't come back just to be a jealous girlfriend"
She shot me a look "Flavia, you've been screwed over by enough boys in your life. Don't let the same thing happen with Nate. Because i can see how much you love him and he loves you just as much"
Me "I know but..i mean, he isn't doing anything wrong, right? just hanging with her and not realizing how hard she's flirting with him. And yet she gave me no reason to explode"
Serena "yet"
I nodded "yet. "
Suddenly i heard Juliet say "when i moved closer to you, you seemed to like it"
Serena's eyes widened "now you have a reason"
Me "Can i rip her head off?"
Serena shook her head "not in front of the baby, please"
I nodded "fine"
Then i walked over to Nate.
he smiled and looked at me "hey, you okay?"
Me "can i speak to you for a second?"
He nodded worried "Yeah, are you okay?"
I held my hand out and he grabbed it. We walked into Dan's bedroom.
Nate "you sure you are okay?"
I nodded "What the actual hell are you playing, Nate?"
He asked confused "Playin- what? i'm not playing anything, Fla"
Me ""Well, then you are blind. You've got to be blind"
Nate "Fla, what are you talking about?"
Me "Juliet, Nate! She's all over you and you are letting her!"
He shook his head "She's not doing anything. And i'm not letting her because she's not doing anything"
Me "Then what the hell was the line she dropped right before i came? "uhh, Nate, when i moved closer to you, you seemed to like. "."
Nate rolled his eyes "That was a joke, Fla, calm down"
I looked at him irritated "you're kidding me? "
Nate "is it because i hung out with her today? Do you feel neglected? "
I shook my head "i couldn't care less with who you spent your day with, Nate"
Nate "so you're saying i can't hang out with another woman??"
Me "i don't care if you spent your day with another woman, Nate, go ahead, but things chance the second that woman who has a mayor crush on you"
He rolled his eyes "Your jealous"
I shook my head "I'm not jealous, Nate"
Nate "Are you going to react like that every time i hang out with another woman?"
I shook my head "of course not, Nate. But she likes you, Nate, a lot. I can see that. "
Nate "you're exaggerating"
Me "Nate, i love you but I don't trust her nor do i like her"
Nate nodded "Well, she's a friend of mine , okay? just a friend. "
I rolled my eyes "sure"
Nate "I love you, Fla, only you. She's just a friend, nothing more. And even if what you're saying is true about the flirting she does, i don't see it, and when i see it, i promise you, i will put an end to it"
I nodded "okay"
He smiled "okay. "
Then he put his hands on my cheeks "Now give me a kiss, haven't kissed you all day long"
I rolled my eyes and muttered "Yeah, because you spent all day with her"
Nate raised an eyebrow "what was that?"
I shook my head "nothing"
Then i kissed him.
He smiled and kissed back.
I broke the kiss "Let's head back out"
He nodded "mhmm"
Then we walked out. Juliet's eyes were on us the second we stopped out of the room.
I gave her a quick glance and grabbed Nate hand and turned him to me.
Nate looked at me confused.
I smiled and kissed him. I put my arms around him and he kissed back putting his arms around me.
If she thinks she can have my boyfriend then she's wrong. Because i'll fight for that guy.
