Lillie's POV a week later
Schools been okay, but I think they're catching on with me and Derek. But they haven't completely caught on yet. Thank god for that! I don't know what Derek's going to tell them, but I'm going to wait until he tells them, since they're his friends. But for the past few days were magical. He was amazing. He took me on dates, he took me to the woods to our spot. And soon later today he was going to take me to his house for the first time.
Once the bell rang, I hurriedly slugged My backpack over my back and hurriedly walked out of the class and out of school. I smiled when I saw him waiting for me, with his usual smile.

Man I loved his smile. He had the most beautiful smile. I walked over to his side and leaned on the door. "Hey there big buy", I said with a smile. He smiled and took off his sunglasses to look at me with his greenish brownish eyes, his eyes flashed red for a second.
"Hey beautiful, get in", he said flashing me a smile. God I loved his smile. I literally almost melted. But shook out of my trance and walked to the other side and got in the already opened door. I closed the door, and like everyday from the day he first picked me up, he attacked me, nuzzled his facial haired cheeks against my neck. I giggled because it tickled. I moved my head so he could get more of my neck. Letting him scent Mark me. He laid a little kiss to my neck. I bit my lip, because it felt weird when he did that. He stopped scent marking me and kissed my blushing cheek. He smiled at me. "How was school beautiful?", he asked me. I smiled and kissed his scruffy cheek.
"Better now that I'm with you", I said. It was true. I loved being with him. I always have, since the day we met. He chuckled and smirked. "Ten points to flirting beautiful", he said. And I burst out laughing.
He chuckled and kissed my cheek before starting the car. We listened to some tunes and I did most of the singing off key. He just smiled and chuckled. I'm lucky he deals with my craziness. His hand was in mine, he caressed his thumb over the back of my hand. It felt nice, just holding his hand. I felt at peace and I was starting to forget the heartbreak that they caused me. But I did miss my sister and my dad. I missed them more then anything, but their better off without me.
And soon we came to a nice old looking loft. It must be Derek's loft. Wow!
I got out and he wrapped a arm around me. "Come on, I'll show you around", he said. I nodded my head in amazement. It might be simple. But I loved it.
We soon walked inside the loft. And I was amazed when I saw what was in front of me.
It was beautiful. The most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I looked at it with my gaped open. "I'm a little new to this whole mate thing, I never thought I would find you, but I did, I don't know how I did, but I did, and I'm so lucky to have you as my mate, and I know it's pretty small and not real fancy, but I thought we could......", I cut him off with my finger to his lips. I had a big smile on my lips and happy tears brimming in my eyes. "It's perfect der, it's absolutely perfect", I said.
"But the thing is, I should have known so I could have dressed up a little better then my school clothes", I said blushing a little. He smiled and got closer to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I did the same to him.

I could hear music in the back ground.

I started singing again.

It's not a secret I try to hide", I sang the last part. (Not the ending, I don't like it so I cut off a little bit of it)
He dipped me. His eyes looking into mine. He pressed his lips to my chin, then my neck, and finally my cheeks. I smiled. I pressed my lips to his cheek.
I pulled back and looking into the pools of green and brown of his eyes. They were so beautiful.
"No matter what you wear, and no matter what you look like, you'll always be beautiful to me, I swear it to you, you are perfect in every way to me", he whispered to me. I could feel a tear roll down my cheek. It's been so long since someone told me that and he ended up leaving me. They all did. They all left me.
I grabbed him by the neck and hugged him close to me. Holding on tightly, as if I let go bell leave just like they did. I closed my eyes. "Please don't leave me", I whispered to him. He wrapped his arms around me tight. He pressed his forehead to mine. "Never, I'll never leave you, I promise", he whispered to me.

I whined lowly. But I think he heard me. "Beautiful, talk to me", he said.

"I am never going to leave you, I promise you Lillie Winchester, I swear it, I will rip out my own heart if I even think about it, you are my forever now, and I know we haven't been together for long and we haven't known each that long either, but you make me feel things that no one has ever made me feel before, and you've changed me into a new person, it's all because of you, you changed me, the man that holed himself behind a heavy wall of bricks and hid, you broke down that wall and dragged me out of the hole I thought I would never get out of, believe me when I say, I will never leave you, I promise to always protect you, and when you do get hurt, even the slightest, I'll just make sure to protect you even more, I won't leave you to protect you, I will stay my ground and be with you whenever you need me, because you are my other half, you are my mate and I will never break my promise to you beautiful, you have my word", he said holding my hand to his beating heart. My eyes welled up with tears and tears rolled down my cheeks. He cupped my cheeks and started to pepper kiss away the tears away.
He pulled away and looked into my watery eyes. "No one has ever told me that before, everyone I have ever loved has left me, they always said it was to protect me, but it just hurt me more when they leave, just please Der keep your promise", I said, my voice breaking. He held me tighter to him. I felt his lips on my forehead. "I will make sure I keep my promise to you beautiful, you won't have to worry about me leaving you, I have nowhere to go but here, by your side, and I'll continue to be by your side, till the end and even after that, because you are my better half and I will follow you to ends of the world if I have to, If you ever leave me, I'll just follow you, because even in this short time, I am willing to be selfish with you, I am willing to drop everything for you, because you are mine", he said as he got to his knees and nuzzled his face into my stomach. I sniffled. I had a few tears rolling down my cheeks. I ran my fingers through his soft hair. And felt as he nuzzled against my scarred stomach.
No one has ever told me that before. Not even him. (Elijah) he left saying it was to protect me, and that just ended up with me getting hurt all over again.
But I think I can believe when Derek says he'll stay by my side. He will, and I will stay by his side. As long as he'll be there to hold me up when I can't. He is my better half. He is my mate. And I'm willing to be happy with him and let my past go.
After awhile, I heard my stomach growl. I heard him chuckle into my stomach. I wiped my eyes, he got up and cupped my cheeks and pressed his lips to my cheeks and then my forehead.
He walked me over to a chair, he dragged it out so I could sit. I sat down and watched as he pushed my chair in. I smiled. "Thanks Der", I said giving him my best smile. He smiled back at me and kissed my forehead.
"I'll be right back", he said. I nodded my head and watched as disappeared into a room.
It only took a few minutes till he came back with food. My mouth watered at the scent.
It was amazing. I was starving right now.
"I didn't have time to order in, I'll be honest to say, I was a little nervous you wouldn't like it, so I cooked, I hope your okay with that?", he asked me.
I looked up away from the delicious smelling food. I looked at him shocked. "You cook?", I asked him. I could see a cute blush come on his cheeks. Awww! Cute!
"Yes well, I know it's not the most manly thing, but I enjoy it", he said.
I awed again. I kissed his cheek. "It's smells really good Der", i said. He blushed even more. "And maybe one of these days we can both help each other in the kitchen", I said.
He blushed even more. It was adorable. "I would like that", he said.
I giggled.
I looked at the chocolate shake in front of me. "Don't worry, I didn't spit in it", he said. I looked up at him to see him smirking at me.
I stuck out my tongue at him. Before taking a drink. Oh my god! This was amazing! God! I wanted to marry this god damn drink! And I may or may not have moaned out loud.
I felt a blush come onto my cheeks. I heard him chuckle. "That lets me know I've done some what of job well done", he said wiggling his eyebrows. I blushed even more. God damn it Derek!
I grabbed a burger, and I bit into it. Extra pickles, and ketchup. He remembered. I awed. "You remembered", I said happily. He just smiled at me. "Of course I did", he said before biting into his. I saw a little something on his lips. I smirked, now it was time for pay back.
I leaned forward and wiped the side of his mouth with my thumb and wiped off the ketchup from his mouth and licked it off my thumb. I looked back at him to see him staring at me. His cheeks getting red again. I giggled and smirked. "Pay back", I said. He blushed even more and looked away. Aww my blushing manly Man.
I giggled once more, before stuffing my face with these delicious fries, with the homemade ketchup and honey mustard.
I moaned again. "I love you", I said out loud. I heard a chuckle. I looked at Derek, to see him smirking at me. What now?
"Are you talking to me or the food?", he said smirking. My eyes widened when I realized that I had said it out loud. I blushed real red, the same color of his alpha eyes.
He just chuckled. And leaned over and pecked my forehead. "Just joking beautiful, just see this as payback", he said smirking again.
I glared at him playfully, which only made him laugh. How dare he laugh at me?!
I got up from my chair and walked over to his. I then pounced. Making him fall out of his chair and onto the floor with me on top of him. I sat on top of him. Smirking. "That's for laughing at me", I said smirking.
He just laughed again. I giggled with him. He had the most contagious laugh imaginable. I loved it.
I think I loved everything about him.
