Lena Luthor is having the time of her life, cuddling with her wife. In Kara's arm, she feel safe. So safe she just want to tell asleep right at the moment. Meanwhile, her wife is impatiently looking at the watch on her wrist.
"Aye, cuddle time is over, my love. I'll head over to my office now.", state the blonde.
Lena puff her cheeks in disstatisfaction. This had gone on for a few days now. They barely have the time each other. All they have is 10 minutes cuddle time and then Kara would go back to her office. The blonde would come to bed late in the morning... Sometime she wouldn't even come to bed, that means she had fell asleep on her desk.
"But, Kara..."
The blonde raise her hand slightly. A silent sign telling her wife to stop talking.
"I know, my love... I know...", Kara smiled bitterly at her wife.
In her eyes, Lena can see all sort of emotions. Tiredness is the main emotion she see tho.
"I promised after this, we will do everything you want, okay? Just give me a few more days... Please?"
Kara asked while biting her lower lips. Which is a bad move because Lena love it when the blonde did that, it makes her want to grab her husband and do it, right there, right now. The brunette can't help but sigh.
"...Fine. Just make sure you stop skipping your meals."
"I don't sk-", Lena put her index finger on the blonde's lips, immediately stopping the blonde from saying anything.
"Don't lie to me, I'm your wife. I know everything."
The blonde rolls her eyes at the dramatic statement.
"Yeah, yeah...Whatever. I'll head over to my office now.", Kara softly kiss Lena's forehead.
She then get up from the bed they shared. Carefully, she put on her wig. Usually she don't have to wear the wig at home but since Zoe and Cicie are new to the house, they don't know about her secret plus Kara don't really fully trust the two girls about her secret. She need more time to judge the two.
"Hey, love...", Lena called out for her husband.
"Hmm?"
The blonde turn to look at her wife. The brunette is giving her that look. Oh no.
"You still haven't told me what's keeping you busy."
Kara can literally feel a sweat roll down her face. Taking a deep breath and a putting up her sweetest smile, the blonde look at her wife with a pair of determined eyes.
"Just a big trade deal with a company from China."
Well, technically, she's not lying... Just that she forgot to mention the owner of the company's daughter used to be her fiancee and now she's facing with a huge risk of losing her biggest supplier.
Oh, yeah, she may or may not forgot to tell her wife that her ex fiancee is coming in a week.
"You know I don't believe you, right?", Lena calmly look at her husband as she crossed her arms.
Chuckling at how easy it is for her wife to see through her, Kara smiled.
"I know, wife... I know. You'll get it later."
Kara gussied herself up one last time before, finally taking her leave. When she can't longer hear the footsteps of her husband, Lena sigh loudly.
"She's hiding something from me... I can feel it."
Half way to her office, Kara pause to give herself a one good smack.
How can she forgot to tell Lena a representative of her ex fiancee's company is coming today?
Ah, wait... well, it's not like she can tell Lena that without explaining about May first.
*Inside a ship heading to England*
"Is this your first time going to England, ma'am?", a tall and slender brunette asked as she gently put the drink down on the table.
Looking up at the brunette with a pair of cold eyes, a neatly dressed in suit lady smile. It was a rather charming smile, enough to make the waitress blush.
"Yes, indeed. Although, my mother is from there. "
The lady in suit take a sip of her drink. Tapping slowly at the table in a soft rhythm. All this while looking at the waitress directly into her eyes.
The waitress can feel the hunger she always felt from the looks the guys at the bar always give her. This is the first time she could feel such desire from a lady. Not that she's not interested tho.
"My name is Maddy.", the waitress boldly introduced herself to the lady.
Smirking, the lady in suit take Maddy's hand before softly kissing the back of her plam.
"I'm Maggie. Maggie Sawyer."
