'Saturday'

KATSUKI BAKUGOU'S POV
×××

Today's Saturday. The day that Uraraka and I are supposed to go out on a date.

I put on a black t-shirt with a skull printed on the front and some grey jeans. I didn't dress very nice or fancy since I was just planning on hanging out for the day.

We decided to meet up at my dorm since it was easier that way. It was now later in the day and I had been waiting for her for around 15 minutes. I told her to come at 7:30 and it was 7:15.

I could feel my heart beat faster as time went on. Why am I so damn nervous? It's not like she likes me or anything. But she did bring up it being a date.

Ugh I'm thinking about this too much. What the hell I need to calm down.

My face was hot and I just knew there was a stupid blush on my face. If I can't hold myself together now, how will I act when I see her?

I heard a gentle knock on my door followed with an adorable familiar voice that I loved.

"K-katsuki! It's me, Uraraka." She called out. I smiled at the sweet sound of her voice.

I opened the door slowly as I got a long look at her. She looked amazing.

She had on a light pink long-sleeve top with a with a white skirt the barely touched her knees. I couldn't help but stare.

"Katsuki, don't stare at me like that!" She shouted avoiding my gaze.

I smirked at her and laughed. "I can't help it when you're wearing something like that." I said. After a few moments I realized what I said and I quickly changed the subject since I we were both a blushing awkward mess.

"Should we go now?" I asked stepping outside my door and locking it. She nodded and gave me that usual smile.

As we walked out I noticed Uraraka making faces as if she were confused. Then she finally spoke.

"Wait. Where are we going Katsuki?" She looked up at me with her almost angelic brown eyes.

"U-uh I was thinking we could try out the new restaurant they had around here. What do you think?" I looked to her for an answer.

She seemed to be happy. She was smiling and her eyes were shining brighter ever so slightly.

"That sounds nice."

We arrived at the restaurant and I had been so hungry the entire day. I opened the door for Uraraka as we both headed inside.

The restaurant was pretty similar to any other ones. It had the same usual dishes on the menu but the atmosphere itself was a bit fancier than the others. It was a little darker and the restaurant mostly relied on soft lighting and candles.

"Wow, this is so nice!" Uraraka excitedly said. She had a small bag and she was holding on to it tight as she scanned the room.

"How many?" A man asked as he began to get menus ready. I put my hands away in my pocket.

"Two." I said as I looked down at Uraraka who was still captivated by the restaurant. Had she never been to a fancy restaurant?

The man nodded and slid out two menus and guided us to table. He sat us by a window which was nice since you could see the sun setting behind the tall buildings.

The man set the menus down before leaving.

"Katsuki, this is amazing! But are you sure that this isn't too expensive?" She asked clasping on to her bag tighter.

"It's okay Uraraka. Get whatever you want." I insisted. You could tell she was a bit worried but I smiled at her. She calmed down and nodded.

We were sitting across from each other so occasionally I'd glance up at her and she was very concentrated on the menu. She was probably trying to get something cheap.

A waiter came over and he seemed younger than the man out front. He immediately looked over at Uraraka who was still a bit focused on her menu still.

"W-What can I get you guys?" He stuttered. What was this guys deal?

"Yeah, I'll get some soup?"

"The M-miso soup?" He asked jotting it down on a tiny notebook.

"Yeah." I confirmed as I noticed he hadn't been looking at me this whole time. His eyes were still directed towards Uraraka.

"And how a-about you?" He said hiding his face with his notebook.

"Oh I'll just get the ramen." She said waving her hand with an obviously fake smile.

"Alright and drinks?"

Uraraka smiled. "Water, please."

The man smiled warmly at her making me upset. "And for you?"

"Water." I growled. He seemed to back off a bit and stepped back and nodded his head.

"Are you okay, Katsuki?" Uraraka asked tilting her head in concern.

I shook my head.

"What's wrong? Oh no is it because I ordered the Ramen?" She hid her face in her hands. I reassured her that it wasn't her.

"It's not that. It's just that guy."

Uraraka raised her head up slowly and raised a brow. "What about him?" She asked.

Did she seriously not notice him?

"I didn't like the way he was looking at you." I say. She probably thinks I'm being soft.

"Are you jealous, Katsuki?" She asked smugly. Damn.

"Tch. So what if I was? I just didn't like that he was eye-fucking you over there."

Uraraka went silent. Almost as if a dozen thoughts were running through her head.

"Thanks." She spoke in a gentle voice. Her voice was amazing and could calm me so easily by just the sound of it.

She tried to change the subject. "I can't believe we got an A on the project! Now that I think about it we were always distracted, or I was always sleeping on you!" She chuckled after she finished the sentence.

"Yeah..." I answered as I watched her laugh. Her face was just so nice to look at at. I didn't even notice that I had been smiling like an idiot at her the whole time.

"K-katsuki don't look at me like that, my face is getting all red." She quietly said before pouting. Damn why is she so adorable?

Now I am the one blushing...Great.

The waiter came back with our orders and before he left he gave Uraraka a quick smile and wink before heading to the next table.

"Now do you see what I mean?" I asked as I stared at her for an answer.

"Y-yeah." She stuttered as her face began to cool down.

We both started to eat and the sun had come down now. It was mostly dark and the streetlights outside were now lit.

People were passing by the window, whether it be back home or getting somewhere they needed to be they all walked in a fast pace.

Except one. It was a boy with green hair. Fucking Deku.

I snapped my head down and tried to avoid being seen by him. If he saw Uraraka our date would be over. Where was he going?

I kept my eyes down until he passed by. I let out a long sigh.

"Is it good?"

"Huh?"

"Is the food good? Katsuki?"

Uraraka shoveled some more food into her mouth and waited for my response.

"Yeah. How about yours?"

"Delicious."

I smiled at her as she put more ramen into her mouth.

"That's good to hear."

>>>

Uraraka and I left the restaurant and stood outside. The air was chilly and there was sudden wind that sent chills down Uraraka's spine.

"Hey!" A voice called out. The door opened and someone ran out. It was the waiter.

"H-hi." Uraraka uncomfortably said taking a step back.

"You looked cold so I thought that I could give you my jacket." He approached her with the jacket in hand.

Uraraka continued to take steps back.

"And my numbers in the left pocke-"

I had a sudden urge to grab her. Am I really this selfish that I need her all to myself? I want no one else to be near her.

No one but me.

I grabbed Uraraka and pulled her into my chest, holding her in a tight and warm embrace.

"Katsuki!" She called out looking up at my red angered eyes.

"She's mine."
