I got home and went straight no my room not sure what happened, I couldn't understand why Mr Jones was talking to my so-called mum, he seems like a good teacher so why would he be talking to her like they were all friends or something? I sat on my window sill, I was hugging a cushion while I looked out of the window. Next thing I know Slade was sitting in front of me.
"Hi sis, you looked upset when you came in so I wanted to see if you wanted to talk," He asked me
I could see he was worried about me and just wanted to be a big brother which is what I need just know.
"Do you know my dad?" I asked him
"Yeah, I do, is there something you would like to know about him ?" He asked me
"What's he like?" I asked him
"He's kind, smart, caring," Slade told me
"Then why did he leave me?" I asked
"He was young, he was in high school when he had you," Slade told me
This shocked me, my father was still in high school when he made me.
"But there is no way my mum was in high school when she had me so how did they meet?" I asked him confused
"Mum was his English teacher" Slade bite his bottom lip
I took a deep breath in. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My mum got pregnant with a student, my dad was a student not only a student her student how could she do something like that?
"Lily, are you alright? " He asked
"Yeah, it's just a lot to take in" I looked down
"If you ever want to see a picture of him, I have one for you," He told me
I looked up at him shocked "You have a picture ?"
"Well it's of him and you so he was younger but still looks kind of the same," He told me
"Thanks, I don't think I'm ready for that yet" I bite my bottom lip and looked down
"Don't worry Lily, I know that but if you ever change your mind please tell me" He smiled lightly
"Thank you, Slade" I looked up and smiled lightly
"If you ever need me, I'm always here for you" He smiled at me
"I know" I smiled back
I have an amazing family now, everyone is caring and always there for me. I don't need to know who my blood father is just now. After Slade left I did my homework and worked on my writing for writing club then I went straight to bed. The next morning I got up not feeling like myself but I got up and had a shower after I got out of the shower I left dizzy, I got out wrapped the towel around me, and left the bathroom.
"Lily? Lily ?" I heard a worried voice say
It sounded quite far away from me, I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't. The voices started to get closer and closer then I could finally open my eyes. Everyone was gathered around me even Mr and Mrs Goth.
Mrs Goth sat beside me "Lily, sweetheart are you alright?"
I couldn't focus, I looked around me I was in my bedroom I know that. My eyes finally fell on to Mr Goth.
"What happened?" I asked quietly asked, my throat felt dry really dry
"You collapsed, you have a fever," Mrs Goth told me
"We phoned the doctor, she should be here soon," Mr Goth told me
"Do you need a drink of water sister?" Aiden asked
"Please" I tried to say
"I'll get you some," He said then ran off
It didn't take long before Aiden came back in with a glass of ice-cold water, He placed it beside my bed.
"Can you get up lily ?" Mr Goth asked
"I'll try" I spoke lightly
I started to sit up but felt dizzy before I could lay back down Mrs Goth helped me up and brought the glass of water to me and helped me drink some.
"Ok, Lily, you're staying home today, the rest of you off to school before you are late," Mrs Goth told them
"But Lily is really sick" Keegan pouted
"I know but she will be alright," Mrs Goth said
"We are here to look after her and the best place for you all is at school, Spider and Wolfy make sure to get lily's homework as well," Mr Goth told them
"We will," Wolfy said
Everyone left my room except Mrs and Mr Goth who stayed with me.
"Ok kid, I think you should lay down and get some sleep," Mrs Goth told me
I lay down on my bed while Mrs Goth pulled the covers up and tucked me in. I closed my eyes and let sleep take over me.
"Lily, lily" I felt someone shake me lightly
I opened my eyes to see Mrs Goth with the family doctor.
"Hi lily, I heard you fainted and you have a temperature, is it ok to cheek you over?" she told me
"Yeah, that's fine" I spoke lightly
The doctor started cheeking me over.
"Do you have a headache?" She asked me
"Only a little," I told her
"You have the bad flu, I would give it a week if you are still not better I will give you something for it until then plenty of water, rest and keep warm," She told me
"I will" I nodded lightly
Mrs Goth smiled lightly then helped me lay back down then pulled the covers up to my shoulders and tucked me in. I cuddled in and fell asleep straight away. I woke up to someone moving around in my bedroom, I opened my eyes lightly to see Spider waking in the bathroom, and I heard the tap going then off again, Spider walked back into my bedroom and looked at me surprised. He had a damp cloth in his hands.
"You finally wake up" He spoke as he talked over to me and placed the cloth on my head
"Yeah, sorry" I spoke lightly
"Don't be" He nodded
Spider grabbed the glass of water with a straw in it, he held the straw to me.
"Drink" He spoke
I took a big long drink of the water then I pulled away.
"Thanks" I spoke
Spider put the glass back on the side table then he got the cloth and wiped all the sweat away from my face before going to cool the cloth down again, he came straight away and put the cloth back onto my forehead.
"Don't you have homework?" I asked him
"I'm doing it" He answered while he pointed over to my desk which had his homework layout on it
"Want to sleep more?" He asked
"No thanks" I spoke
"Ok, want to watch tv," He asked
"Yes, please" I spoke
Spider grabbed the remote and then turned on the tv then he passed me the remote so I flicked through the channels until I found an old tv show called diagnosis murder, I put the remote beside me while spider walked over to the desk and started working on his homework. I couldn't keep myself from glancing at Spider, I'm not sure why he is in my bedroom or why he is looking after me, it was not like it at all. I thought Mrs Goth was looking after me but maybe she had to work so she must have asked Spider to look after me instead. Why would he look after me, I'm sure he would have sent Wolfy to look after me instead of Aiden but here he is looking after me. My mind started spinning, and I started to feel dizzy so I closed my eyes until I fell back asleep

Sorry this chapter kinda sucks but hopefully the next one will be better
