Saturday:
"Hey baby" Chan said through the phone before coughing a bit.
"Hi Chan!" Jeongin said cheerfully. "I was thinking after classes we could go-"
"I'm sorry, Innie but I'm really sick. I know you really wanted to go out since it's our anniversary and I really want to but I-" Chan then proceeded to cough very violently making Jeongin wince.
"Aww baby" Jeongin said sitting on his bed.
"We dont have to go anywhere. I'll come over after classes and we can just cuddle and watch movies" Jeongin stated, "Is that alright?"
"As long as your with me" Chan said and Jeongin could hear the smile in his voice.
"Okay, see you soon" Jeongin said.
"I love you" Chan said making Jeongin smile and blush.
"I love you too"
"Bye Innie, see you later"
"Bye Channie"
Jeongin sighed, even though he did want to go out, they have been going out all week.
Plus his baby was sick and he was going to try his best to make him feel better.

Before his last class began, he decided to text Chan saying he had another class after that one and would be coming out later than usual. To which Chan replied with a simple okay be safe baby.
Truth was after Jeongin finished his 45 minute class, he was going to buy some stuff and then surprise Chan.
Leaving the building as quickly as possibly, he went to the closest pharmacy and got some medicine to help with Chan's cough.
Arriving back at his dorm, he noticed Jimin laying on his bed playing minecraft on his computer.
"Hey Jeongin" Jimin said not looking up as Jeongin put the bag down on his bed. "I thought you were going to Chan's after class"
"I am" Jeongin said taking off his shoes and socks. "But first, I'm gonna shower and change into something a little more comfortable"
"Oh okay" Jimin said not even knowing what Jeongin just said. "Have fun"
Jeongin rolled his eyes and walked into the bathroom.
After taking a warm shower and changing into some black pants and an oversize hoodie.
"So what'd you get Chan?" Jimin asked as Jeongin reached under his bed taking out a bag.
"I made a picture box, I also wrote a song which took months as well as the box, took me ages to make and capture enough photos for it." Jeongin said.
"What's a picture box?" Jimin asked confused. Jeongin smile, blushing slightly as he took out the box from the gift bag.
"Oh my god Jeongin, that's really cute. I'm sure Chan will love absolutely love it" Jimin said as Jeongin showed him.
"Really? I also have promise rings in the middle. I know I'm going all out just for our one year but...I really love him Jimin"
"Aww" Jimin pulled Jeongin into a hug. "Chan will love it. I know he loves you so so much"
The video on top is to show how the picture box is sort of like instead of hearts, it's the promise rings..
"Thanks Jimin" Jeongin said as they pulled away. He put the box back into the gift bag along with the medicine he bought a while ago.
"I have to get going. I'm gonna get a cake from the cafe and then head to Chan's dorm" He said getting his shoes on and taking hold of the bag.
"Have fun" Jimin said as Jeongin left.

Jeongin arrived at the cafe, the smell of cakes, cookies and different types of sweets filled his nose.
He walked over to the counter, admiring the many different cakes on display.
"Hi! Would you like to buy a cake?" An old woman said cheerfully to him.
Jeongin smiled and nodded his head, "I'll like to buy that one"
He pointed at a cake which he thought was really cute. It was small but cute, its design was two little pandas snuggling up with each other. Hearts littered around the cake and on the side it read "I love you forever and always"
"Ooh good choice" The old lady said with a smile. She opened the glass case and carefully took out the cake, admiring it.
She brought it to a younger woman who looked to be about in her thirties.
As she rung up his process she took the chance to ask, "So..who's the special girl?"
Jeongin smiled, "My boyfriend"
The ladies smile widened even more, "I may not know you or who you're boyfriend is but I can sure say he is a very lucky guy to have you. You guys must be so cute together"
"I like to think we are. We get it a lot from out friends" Jeongin said as she handed back his change.
"Have a nice day! Hope your boyfriend enjoys the cake" She called as Jeongin made his way.
"Me too" He called back with a wide smile on his face.
His smile stayed on his face the whole walk back to the dorms and the whole way up the stairs.
Until he stopped when he noticed Mel sitting on the steps.
"Hey Mel, are you okay?" He asked sitting down beside her when he noticed her red eyes and tear stained cheeks.
"Yeah, I'm fine...well I will be fine" She said wiping away the stray tears.
"What happened? Do you wanna talk about it?" Jeongin asked scrunching up his eyes.
That's when Mel's eyes starting tearing up once more.
"I...cant. It's not my place to tell you but I dont want to have to keep lying to you" Mel said as tears began to roll down her cheeks once more.
"Tell me what?" Jeongin asked confused, rubbing her back to try and comfort her.
"I dont want to ruin your anniversary. It's your special day as well as Chan's and I dont want to ruin that but I fear it already is" She cried.
"You wont ruin anything, I promise" Jeongin said. Mel sighed before taking a deep breath,
"Me and Chan-"
"Oh crap" Jeongin said standing up.
"What?" She asked wiping away the tears on her cheeks.
"I forgot I told Chan I was coming late...I could surprise him!" Jeongin said cheerfully.
"Jeongin-"
"Hey, let me surprise him first, get my smooches and then I'll come back and we can finish talking, yeah?" Jeongin asked.
"Wait Jeongin-"
"Okay, good" Jeongin said already gone before Mel can say anything.
He walked to Chan's dorm room, somehow he was able to take the key out of his pocket without dropping the cake.
Quietly he slipped the key in the hole and then turned it, unlocking the door. He smiled as he took hold of the door knob and pushed the door open, a huge smile on his face.
His smile dropped, his hand went limp at his side causing the cake and the gift bag to fall to the floor, the hand that gripped the door knob slowly slid off.
And tears brimmed his eyes.
