I was staring down at her ethereal face.
(Why is she not waking up?, I've lost track of time of how long I've been here but I know it's been awhile).
(Maybe her passing out is rooted much deeper)
Just then Y/N blinked and I could see her eyes looking around.
"Y/....." I went to say her name but stopped myself.
The expression I saw on her face ripped me in two, it was one of confusion and fear.
"Y/N?" I spoke softly as not to scare her more.
She turned her head searching and then she found me but what I saw in her eyes scared me.
One of the first times I've ever been scared in my life.
"Y/N?..." I repeated her name hesitantly.
She stared intently at me, her eyes more confused than I have ever saw them.
"Where am I" Y/N asked looking around
(She hasn't smiled once, I thought she'd smile to see me)
"You're at an Inn near Honno-ji" I answered, searching her face.
(No reaction to the mention of Honno-ji, strange)
(Although she looks like herself, something seems off about her.
Y/N continued to ask questions and I answered them all, though a few questions she asked she should already knew the answer too.
(Perhaps she's checking if I'm real by asking me questions I should know)
"Have I answered all your questions" I asked smiling, still worried.
"One more" she said focusing on me.
"Ask it" I responded noticing her gaze.
(I'm starting to feel less worried)
(I've never time travelled so I don't know if this is normal)
"Who are you" Y/N asked tilting her head slightly.
(And that was it, my whole life turned upside down by those damned words)
I could feel the pain spread across my face as Y/N just sat there staring at me, as if waiting for an answer.
