"He's right Pharaoh their magic is twice as strong now" Mahad says the shell of Priest Seto orders "now my dragon.... attack with White Lightning!" Mahad counters "Dark Magic Attack!" Qetesh watches as Mahad goes flying backwards after getting hit by the blast of the Blue Eyes White Dragon's attack and she shouts with a worried tone "brother!" Seto's eyes widen as he grips her wrist to stop her from rushing over to the Dark Magician who calls out "good luck my King!" as he is destroyed Atem falls to his knees and says in a pained tone "no.... Mahad" the shell of Priest Seto says "your reign ends now pharaoh you've disgraced the throne of Egypt just like your father! but not for long! because I'm about to make what was meant to be mine ages ago!" Atem stands up and says "Seto listen to me your mind is being controlled and if you don't break free Egypt is doomed! you made a vow to protect our land remember?!" the shell of Priest Seto replies "and I am protecting our land! from you! now Blue Eyes attack!" Qetesh's hand grips the locket that hangs around Seto's neck gently and as though she had just remembered what it was she looks at it through the openings of her fingers "Seto.... can I borrow this!?!" she asks softly Seto looks down at her and sees what's in her hand and though he had no idea what she had planned he nods and unclips the chain that holds the locket and lets it fall the rest of the way into her hand she kisses his lips and whispers "thank you!" then she rushes over to Priest Seto stands before him and opens the locket then as she places it before his eyes she says "Seto look at this.... do you know who this is!?!" the shell of Priest Seto's eyes widen as he whispers softly "that is....!!" real Priest Seto who is laying unconscious in his own subconscious sees flashes of the "good" half of Mokuba's life play before him the happy laughing child he's always been "Mokuba!.... his name is Mokuba!!" Priest Seto says softly "that's right!.... he's our son!" Qetesh says softly with a smile then she says "if you go through with this Seto then our son will never have a chance to live this or any life.... is that what you want!?!.... remember.... the spell that stole him away from us sent him to live somewhere else!.... somewhere far off in the distant future but if you continue on allowing your father to control you with the darkness that now controls him our son will never get a chance to live at all!.... it's too late to stop the spell that took him from us for it has already been completed but it's not too late to save our son and let him live the life he was meant to live!.... even if it's without us!.... at least it's a happy life.... please Seto!.... wake up!.... don't let him do this!.... don't let him destroy our home and the world that surrounds it!.... please my beloved!.... give our son a chance to live!" Atem who had his eyes closed this whole time waiting for the Blue Eyes attack.... which never came opened his eyes and stared at Qetesh who closes the locket and says "I have to give this back to it's owner now.... you know you should thank him!.... he took very good care of me and our son when we were sent to his time" Atem hears Priest Seto ask with a curious somewhat heartbroken tone "do you love him!?!" and Qetesh reply "he's you!.... a reincarnated version of you.... and if you ask me there is no one better to raise our son than you no matter how many years have past!.... besides he HAD to live in that time!.... who else would teach the Pharaoh lessons he won't soon forget in any timeframe!?!" Atem chuckles and he realizes that he is the only one who can not only hear the conversation but see her standing before Priest Seto with a familiar locket in her hand for as she walks away he hears Aknadin say through Priest Seto (the "shell of Priest Seto") to the BEWD "what?! how dare you disobey me! attack!! do you hear me I said attack!" once Qetesh reaches Seto she loops her arms around his neck and clips his locket back in place then she slides her hands down the lips of his cloak and places her hand in his and says softly as she turns to face the "battlefield" "foolish Aknadin the dragon only listens to it's true master which just so happens not to be you!" and the BEWD disappears turning into pixie dust "what is the meaning of this!?" the shell of Priest Seto asks Qetesh watches as the BEWD appears before Aknadin in Priest Seto's subconscious and hides her head in Seto's chest as Aknadin disappears in a puff of purple smoke Seto wraps his arms around her and hears her whisper softly with a relieved tone "he's free!" ....
Seto takes her hand in his and walks her over to Priest Seto and Atem "nice outfit" Seto says sarcastically to Atem making Qetesh chuckle softly with a smile "Kaiba! what are you doing in this world?!.... I thought I was just seeing things" Atem replies as he turns around to face him "so I've been hugging a pillar all this time!?!.... if I'd only known!.... I would have hugged it tighter!" Qetesh teases Atem laughs Seto stares at her with playfully narrowed eyes then smiles "I have a feeling Bakura had something to do with it!.... after all he would need a piece of someone's soul to reincarnate himself!.... as for what he's doing here afterwards.... that.... I have no idea!.... maybe it's to help him rule out his skepticism.... or he could think that he's dreaming!.... I think he would prefer that over the reality of.... everything!" she continues in a more serious tone Seto looks at her sadly then he hears his own voice say to him "I hear I have you to thank for taking care of....!" Seto Kaiba looks up at Priest Seto and says rudely "I don't need your thanks I love her too!" Priest Seto's eyes widen then a smile slides up the corner of his lips and a short chuckle forms from them at the same time as he thinks to himself "we really are alike aren't we!?!" Qetesh who was ready to stop them from fighting with one another smiles at the thought that just flowed through Priest Seto's head then she looks up at the upside down pyramid in the sky and wonders "just what is his plan for Yugi and the others!?!... what is happening up there!?!.... I hope Atem's alright!" both Seto's and Atem reach for Qetesh as she falls to her knees "I have.... I have to go!" she whispers softly then she turns into a BEWD and flies away.... with Qetesh and Isra already knowing Atem's true name they knew that they were not suppose to be a part of this part of the "game" so as Zorc rose Qetesh went to stand at her sisters side by the throne and help her take care of the people of Egypt as she was heading towards the village she saw Hasan do whatever he could to protect the court shadows and she picks him up as she flies off leaving a copy of him behind to continue to do as he was meant to "you have not failed Hasan you did as he asked you to do now it is my turn to protect you!" she tells him as he stands protected in her gentle BEWD claw "I have an odd feeling that Zorc can not see me.... I was once a part of the Shadows but even when I lived there my light never diminished which is why I can now live once again within the world I was meant to live in with the man I was meant to live with at my side.... I just hope Seto can forgive me!" she ends her words with a whisper knowing that even though her tone was low he still heard her "why are you here!?!" Hasan asks "my sister and I.... we know what he is meant to find on his own.... I was on my way to the palace.... of course I took the long way there but.... I know I was not meant to be a part of this fight no matter how much I wish I could help.... my sister and I are stronger than the Shadows because we were born from them it is the reason our hearts feel as they do for the two men of this world.... we were meant to find out what we could about them!.... their strengths, their weaknesses.... the problem with that is we became their one true and strongest weakness!.... and since I am heading there I suppose you'll still be able to keep your vow.... though the number of people you have to protect has now grown immensely larger!" she replies he chuckles and a few seconds later they land on the palace balcony and walk inside to help Isra protect the citizens of Egypt who have ushered into the palace.... Isra, Hasan, Qetesh, Mana, Kisara and the pharaoh's court do whatever they can to keep the villagers safe while Priest Seto, Atem and the copies of Mana and the court fight against Zorc Isra turns as soon as she feels the presence of Exodia arise to fight Zorc and she smiles "the old man's still got it hmm!?!" she teases "who you calling old you young whipper snapper!?!" Shimon teases back making her laugh and he joins her by laughing as well..... "Hasan, Isis, Shada, Karim.... and now Shimon.... who will be next!?!" Qetesh asks softly as Exodia falls being that it was their power that created the copies both Qetesh and Isra fall to their knees weakened by the ones they lost it was then they felt Atem receive the Millennium Puzzle once again and his strength became Isra's strength as she rose back to her feet then helped her sister up as well and Qetesh gained her strength back as soon as Priest Seto received the Millennium Rod once again....
Everyone watched as the three Egyptian God Monsters were called upon to fight and Qetesh sensed the presence of Seto and softly whispered his name with a surprised tone "Seto!?!" Isra looks at her sister and says "I'm sure he'll be fine" Qetesh replies "not that Seto the other one!" Isra's eyes widen in surprise and the two women rush out into the battlefield "Seto!" Qetesh calls out "Atem!" Isra calls out at the same time once they reach where Seto, Priest Seto and Atem stand both Seto's and Atem turn to face the two women and Zorc looks down at them in anger "uh oh it seems I have made myself known!" Isra whispers softly "come on that's half the fun!.... right boys!?!" Qetesh teases the three Egyptian God Monsters roar in agreement the sisters stand on either side of Seto who was looking at the Egyptian God Monsters in shock realizing that they were not holograms like they would be in his time period "Obelisk the first attack is yours strike him down with your Fist of Fate" Atem calls out bringing the attention back to the duel/battle before them "I know the rules you old fool he hears me call him "my heart" not his name! you need not worry about being destroyed just yet but you will be soon for I will not allow you to hurt my people or my husband!" Isra growls under her breath making sure that Zorc was the only one other than her sister who heard her "I have called him Atem from day one I'm not going to stop just because you wish it!" she adds and she could have sworn she saw Bakura/Zorc smile "away from the village Obelisk not towards it!" Qetesh shouts but it was too late he had already struck Zorc down and Zorc fell on the wall protecting the village from intruders turning it into rumble as he falls Qetesh starts to rush towards the village yet again but she feels Seto grip her wrist gently and she stops turns to face him and says softly "I must protect the villagers that is my duty!" Seto looks down at her "I'm stronger than I look I can do it!" she tells him a smile slides up his lips as he replies "oh I know! but I will not allow you to put yourself in danger any longer if anything I will protect them!" her eyes widen she did not expect him to protect a bunch of strangers he believes aren't real he kisses her lips and whispers "I know differently now my beloved!" she smiles as Atem orders Slifer then Winged Dragon of Ra to strike next then combine their attacks together and hopefully put an end to it all and though the attacks knock Zorc down and place him within a crater on the ground.... that each attack made it did not destroy him.... night turned to day and with the darkness gone the people thought they were saved but Zorc created an Solar Eclipse.... perhaps the first Solar Eclipse in all of Egypt.... with just a raise of his arm bringing the darkness back Atem orders the Egyptian God Monsters to attack before the sun is completely covered but instead of being able to attack Zorc grips WDoR's tail and gets pulled up out of the crater Obelisk grips Zorc's foot as WDoR continues to fly up into the sky and they all hear Zorc say "as the Darkness spreads my strength grows" once the sun was completely covered Atem orders Ra and Slifer to attack "without the suns rays you're powerless against me now prepare to be consumed by the Darkness" Zorc calls out all three Egyptian God Monsters fall as they are turned to stone "no!!" Qetesh and Isra chorus and before Seto could stop them they rush over to the now stone gods and caress their faces lovingly "I'm sorry my friend" Isra whispers sadly as she caresses Slifer's face tears fall from Qetesh's eyes as she caresses Obelisk's face then they both walk over to Ra and caress his face Zorc laughs and says as he spins around and faces the villagers that stand and watch in fear "your Egyptian Gods are shadows of their former selves let them crumble along with your hope" Isra and Qetesh stand up as Zorc raises his foot over Obelisk ready to stomp on him "you will not touch them!" Qetesh growls darkly and a shield of light forms around each Egyptian God Monster as Zorc stomps his foot down then growls when he sees that it has no effect "you made your point Zorc now move away before we break our vow not to interfere!" Isra orders Zorc chuckles and says "you call this not interfering!?!" the light from the shields grow blinding him making him scream as he falls backwards and lands on his ass "no I call THAT not interfering!!" Isra replies sarcastically "gosh I'm starting to sound like Seto!" Isra whispers looking over at the one in the white cloak "nah he mocks you're just being sarcastic!" Qetesh teases with a smile "he's still a bad influence!" Isra teases Seto shakes his head at the two of them with a smirk on his face and says "alright that's enough!" Isra and Qetesh chorus with a bow "yes master!" Atem chuckles as Seto rolls his eyes at the two of them
