Isra and Qetesh take care of Solomon's shop while he's on his expedition Seto wasn't all that happy that Qetesh wasn't going to be with him but with him trying to bring his company back to the way it was before the whole monster mess then Zigfried mess began he was relieved that she would have something to keep her mind occupied and not be bored.... when Yugi asked if the girls wanted to go with him and the gang on a trip Atem was surprised when the girls said no though neither he nor Yugi pressed the issue they both could sense their reluctance but didn't know why they seemed so.... worried.... scared.... they weren't quite sure which that is until they saw the pyramid in the middle of the jungle in India and that's when they knew.... or had some small idea.... that building would have reminded them of home.... "always getting separated from the pack hmm!?!" Yugi hears Isra tease as he hides behind a rock he turns to see her smiling down at him "you'd make a terrible wolf!" she teases he chuckles "so.... have you figured it out yet!?!" she asks he looks at her oddly "don't worry.... you will!" she says as she reaches out her hand he takes it and she helps him up then they walk back into the forest where they meet a "nice mantis?" Yugi says nervously Isra looks around and sees what she was looking for she walks over to the egg like capsule then touches it and the Celtic Guardian appears just as Yugi changes into Atem who jumps out of the way of the Mantis monster known as a Kamakiriman attacks he lands next to Isra and the Celtic Guardian and looks at the Guardian in surprise "C meet your new friend the Kamakiriman!" Isra teasingly introduces the Celtic Guardian shakes his head as a small corner smirk slides up his lips "well aren't you going to take care of him!?!.... he seems so lonely.... and a lover of shiny things!" she teasingly asks the Celtic Guardian nods then attacks the mantis monster once he wins Isra rushes over to him then hugs him the Celtic Guardian smiles as he places his hand on the back of her head then looks at Atem and says "for the duration of this game I shall protect you both my masters" Isra looks up at him and makes a face the Celtic Guardian chuckles then he turns into a bright green light that floats into the duel disk on Atem/Yugi's arm as soon as he was completely inside the back of the disk opens and shoots out a capsule like a bullet Isra catches it as it flies towards her then she slides it into the ammunition cartridge/bandolier belt around Yugi/Atem's waist Atem takes her hand and they begin walking.... "is anybody out there? Téa! Tristen! Joey!" Atem calls out as they walk "we'll find them Atem" Isra reassures him "we have to!" Atem whispers "this is all my fault!" he adds in a sad tone "are you kidding!?!.... they would have come regardless of whether or not you "allowed" them too!.... this isn't Egypt you aren't their Pharaoh they're your friends so they don't have to follow your every word like it's the law! they can be stubborn and fight your order to the very end without suffering the consequences!" she replies he chuckles "besides you shouting is only gaining us more attention from all the wrong beings.... we have no idea what's in this forest and C's only one elf.... we can't expect him to fight all our battles by himself!" she adds he sighs then replies "this is true!" she slides her hand up his cheek and says softly "I know you're worried my heart but putting us in danger doesn't help them!" he looks into her eyes with an expression of hurt and sadness she kisses his cheek then gently pulls him further into the forest his eyes widen at the feel of their familiar softness then he smiles....
Atem and Isra hear a rustling noise coming from behind them and they stop walking "who's there? hello?" Atem asks then they hear something growl darkly at them "whoever you are it's only fair to warn you that I'm not alone!" Atem says at that moment Isra pushes him down to the ground as something that looked like it was made of bark flies towards them and it hits her in the cheek knocking her backwards but not making her fall "Isra!!" Atem shouts when he sees her get hit "I'm fine.... it's just a scratch" she assures him wiping the blood off her cheek with her sleeve Atem looks down at the duel disk on his arm and sees it shine like a rainbow prism then the back once again opens revealing the hole the capsule bullet come out of from before "of course! now I know what these are for!" Atem says with a smile as he stands up then puts the capsule bullet that Isra placed in his "new" belt before into the hole "fire capsule!" he calls out as he points the disk at the Trent "you will pay for what you've done!" Atem growls "Atem!!" Isra exclaims in surprise at the darkness in his tone as he calls out "come forth Celtic Guardian!" the Celtic Guardian appears and flies over to the Trent like he was still the bullet then he lands before the tree trunk like creature he sees the scratch on Isra's face out of the corner of his eye then growls angrily at the Trent "all right uproot this beast!" Atem orders the Celtic Guardian who complies and attacks the Trent but he ended up blocking more than attacking "what's going on?" Atem asks "think about it Atem this game isn't all that different from Duel Monsters.... that creature is a tree! we're in a forest!.... at this point in time it has the upper hand.... remember Celtic Guardian called it a game.... I know that there's no board or simulator that it's much more real than that but...." Isra replies she stops then says "we have to make sure he doesn't get hurt!" Atem looks at her oddly "look at his cheek! it has the same scratch I do!.... he called us BOTH "masters" I have a feeling that what happens to us happens to him and vice versa" she replies "so it's like some sort of Shadow Game!?!" Atem asks in a soft tone that carried a hint of surprise as he looks at the Celtic Guardian and sure enough he had the same scratch on the same cheek that Isra has on hers then he sees Isra rush over to help the Celtic Guardian and shouts "Isra no!" she shouts back "then try to find more capsules.... I won't allow him to fight alone any longer!" Atem growls as though to say "you're impossible woman!" as she helps the Celtic Guardian fight and some of the normal trees start to change into more Trents and surround them "Pharaoh look it's another capsule" they hear Yugi say as Isra somehow blocks every move the Trents make against the Celtic Guardian Atem could tell that she was getting tired as he tries his best to reach the capsule he saw Yugi point at and just as she was becoming weaker Atem's hand touches the capsule "now capsule monster come forth! help me save my love and my friend!!" Atem says as he touches it and it cracks and glows and a creature made of only fire is born out of it "I guess I should have warned you.... play with me.... and you're playing with fire! hurt the woman I love and it will burn hotter than anything you have ever felt before!!" Atem says to the Trents who back away with a fearful expression on their faces "Hinotama Soul attack!" Atem calls out and the smiling flame like creature flies towards the Trents hitting each and every one of them one by one burning them to ash "this game is really beginning to heat up" Atem says then he hears Isra softly chuckle in a tired voice and he rushes over to her helping her stand up and letting her lean against him "those poor things!" Isra whispers sadly a very tired Celtic Guardian walks over to her and places his hand on her shoulder she smiles up at him and says "go rest my friend.... you deserve it!" he looks at her sadly "why do you look so sad!? Atem will watch over me and as soon as we find a safer place.... preferably outside the forest I will rest myself.... I promise!" the Celtic Guardian smiles then kisses her cheek and disappears....
A few minutes later Yugi is reunited with his friends and Isra says her goodbyes "don't leave!" Atem begs softly "you don't need me here anymore.... I also promised to get some rest and I have a feeling I can't do that here so....!" Isra replies Atem chuckles then she disappears.... it wasn't until Yugi went inside the temple by himself and he falls into a trap just as Yugi turns into Atem Isra appears and takes his hand "you're back!?!" Atem says with a soft surprised tone she smiles at him and teases "of course!.... I have to make sure you get out of here safely after all.... someone still owes me a date!" they hear Yugi chuckle as Atem blushes "shall we find a way out of here!?" Isra asks Atem nods then says as he takes her hand in his "it won't be easy but at least we're together!" she smiles at him then teases "you know I find it odd.... you don't want the others to help you but you're okay with me coming with you!" Atem replies "I just don't want them to get hurt!" he says quickly with a hint of nervousness in his tone as he rubs the back of his neck with his hand "I don't want you to get hurt either but.... well.... I'm always around them and I barely get to see you and I....!" he stops she chuckles and then she falls into his arms as the room begins to shake and the walls start to close in on them "Atem.... who's in the other capsule and why is it blinking!?!" Isra asks softly he looks down and says with a surprised tone "Kuriboh!" she smiles as he takes the capsule out of the belt he then loads it into the duel disk and fires Kuriboh comes forth then gets all excited when he sees Isra "yes, yes I know I'm happy to see you to my friend but right now we're in a tight situation and you have a job to do!" Isra says with a chuckle in her tone as Kuriboh rubs his cheek up against hers then after hearing what she said he moves away and nods Kuriboh floats back and forth above them and they watch him curiously then Atem sees Isra jump up onto one of the walls that wasn't moving at first he was confused as he watched her climb into the tiny hole in the wall then he sees the capsule and he runs then jumps up to join her and she pulls him up as soon as she sees his hand grip the edge once he's up there with her he touches the capsule and they end up being transported somewhere.... "brother!" Atem hears Isra call out happily and watches as she hugs someone who looks like the Dark Magician and he couldn't help but smile then he notices that they were actually being held in the Dark Magician's arms then he sees the Dark Magician look at the setting sun "oh no! the sun's about to set! we have to open that tomb now!" Atem says as soon as he sees the sun himself "wait! our friends need help!" he hears Yugi say then they all look down to see Téa and the others were indeed in trouble "are you thinking what I am?" Yugi asks "this just might work" Atem replies then the two men call out "go Magical Crossroads!" Isra grips her brothers waist just a little tighter and places the tips of her toes on top of his boots so that he could use his staff to cast the spell "by attacking with Magical Crossroads Dark Magician is now able to eradicate all four monsters that fall within these crisscross of light!" Atem says they watch as three out of the four statutes that were attacking Yugi's friends and grandpa crumble to the ground then Solomon has his Summoned Skull use his Lighting Strike attack to finish what DM started but as Summoned Skull attacks the last statue grabs him making the attack hit both of them once the walls around the temple lower and the Dark Magician flies down then lands on the ground Isra goes straight over to Solomon who got hurt when Summoned Skull did and Yugi who is now "in control" of his own body again runs into the temple as Isra shouts out to him "I'll stay here with Sol you guys go do what you gotta do!"
