by the time we made it to taehyung's parents house, i already knew what i wanted to do.
i had been thinking about it nonstop for the past few weeks and the idea just kept getting better and better.
i had only talked to hoseok about it, knowing that if i told one of our other friends, they would tell their boyfriends and it would somehow make its way back to taehyung.
it was the last thing i needed.
the less people that knew, the better.
so when taehyung left to the store with his mother one day, i took the opportunity to talk with his father.
"mr.kim could i have a word with you?" my palms became slightly sweaty.
"of course son! what's going on?" he asked as we both took a seat by the dining room table.
"i know, that you know, that i love your son more than anything in this world. i think of it as a privilege to be able to keep him safe and protected. and i know that this usually happens only with girls but i know how much taehyung cherishes you. that's why, if it's not too much to ask, i would like for your permission to ask him to marry me."
