Isra and Qetesh stood next to Seto and Mokuba as Roland welcomed everyone and introduced each challenger by name "may I have your attention please? this day will go down in history for today begins the most prestigious Duel Monsters Tournament ever to be organized! welcome to the Kaiba Corp Grand Championship!" Roland says "he always was good at that!" Isra teases Qetesh nods with a hum and a smile in agreement as the duelists head up to the stage "we've circled the globe to bring you this all-star congregation of duelists first up.... the new boy wonder of dueling.... the prodigy that who's yet to be defeated the one the only.... leapin Leon Wilson!" Leon smiles and waves to the crowd as his "name" is called "he's a mystery wrapped in a riddle, wrapped in a bathrobe--- Fortune Salim!" Roland announces a man in wizards robes with hood holding a crystal ball stares at the crowd with his hand raised above the crystal ball "and straight from the wild west please welcome the lone dealer-- Shane Jordan!" Roland announces a man dressed like a "true" cowboy with a guitar strapped upon his back moves his hat from in front of his face to the top of his head and smiles.... it was a wonder that there wasn't any swooning from the "ladies" in the ballroom once they all got a good look at the boy.... "next it's the Siberian muscle-- Sergei Ivanoff!" Roland announces a muscular man flexes his muscles at the crowd like it was a body building competition and not a dueling one "and always clued in to his opponents strategies it's the calm and collected super sleuth-- detective Paul McGregor!" Roland announces a elder man with a mustache dressed as Sherlock Holmes tries to look cool but gets spooked by the next competitor and falls flat on his bum as Roland announces "and of course our very own wild child-- Abe the monkey man!" a buck toothed manchild does a back flip as his monkey buddy jumps up and down excitedly "he extracts points from his opponents with surgical precision Dr Richard Goat!" Roland announces a man dressed as though he's ready for an actual surgery takes a step forward with his gloved hands raised in front of him as his two nurses stand behind him "those poor girls!" Qetesh whispers softly as Roland announces "next it's the master of magic cards-- the always debonair Balfry Ginger!" a boy in a green suit with a cape on his back and a wand in his hand waves his wand making a puff of smoke appear before him and coughs as the smoke overtakes him "poor kid!" Qetesh whispers softly and Isra chuckles softly as Roland announces "seeing isn't always believing just ask duel-lusionist-- Totani Ialos!" a man wearing a pair of pointed shades in a yellow suit with a large red bow tie pops an egg out of his mouth then catches it in his hands and starts rubbing them together then opens them and a white pigeon/dove flies out of them "and the thunder from down under here to duel and plunder-- Ethan Shark!" Roland announces a man with Wolverine style hair punches the air while trying to look totally bad ass.... and quite possibly failing who knows.... "he thinks therefore he is-- Jafar Shin!" Roland announces an elder man in a toga robe sits with his hands in prayer formation on his knees "and don't be fooled by Vivian! this delicate flower packs quite a kick!" Roland announces as a girl in a yellow qipao (also known as cheongsam) shows off some martial arts moves Isra tries to hold back a laugh and it comes out as a short scoff like chuckle Seto looks at her and she says while still trying not to laugh "sorry!" he smiles at her and shakes his head as Roland announces "and of course the youngest regional champ-- Rebecca Hawkins!" Rebecca rushes up to the front and soaks up the attention as though she was expecting a huge round of applause from the people watching as she holds her hands out in front of her with a grin and moves her body so that everyone can see her from one end of the room to the other then she and Vivian give one another the evil eye "next it's Joey Wheeler-- our overwhelming underdog!" Roland announces both Qetesh and Isra burst out laughing as Joey does his best to show off as he says "ah yeah!" then catches on to what Roland just called him and shouts "hey how 'bout a little respect?!" Qetesh and Isra laughter grows Atem, Seto and Zigfried smile at the two women "and hailing from parts unknown the masked duelist Apdnarg Otum! (Apdnarg Otum is Grandpa Muto spelled backwards)" Roland announces a masked man with very familiar purple eyes.... that were hidden.... though not very well hidden since everyone could see them.... and outfit holds up two peace sign hand gestures Qetesh and Isra say softly with confused surprised wonder in their tones "Solomon!?!" Seto looks at the two of them with a confused expression on his face as they see a mischievous chuckle in the masked mans eyes "yep that's good ol' Sol!" Qetesh teases playfully Atem who looked at the man with an odd expression on his face as he says with a confused tone "Apdnarg?!" and Yugi asks "don't we know him?!" also looked at the two girls when they softly said Solomon's name and he knew that his guess was correct as well "and our final challenger-- the always stylish Zigfried Lloyd!" Roland announces "so much for "only having one rose"!" Isra teasingly mutters under her breath as she watches Zigfried take the white rose he had pressed between his lips and tosses it towards her with a wink as he is being announced and she catches it.... to be "polite".... Seto narrows his eyes at Zigfried as a woman.... who is not Isra or Qetesh.... swoons at the sight of the man in the purple suit as Roland makes his final introduction "and our defending champion-- Yugi Moto!" Atem takes a few steps forward and smiles at Isra and Qetesh as they bow before him as one would bow before a Pharaoh as Roland continues "whoever wins this sixteen duelist elimination competition will go on to face Yugi for the International Duel Monsters Championship crown! to ensure fair play match pairings will be randomly chosen by our computer just before every duel once again on behalf of the Kaiba Corporation I'd like to wish you all the best of luck you represent the top ranked duelists from across the globe.... but only one of you can be crowned World Champion!"....
The next day Isra and Qetesh sit on either side of Yugi as he and his friends sit in the audience to watch the first duel of the championship as well as see who's dueling "wow! can you believe this crowd?!" Yugi asks "it's huge" Téa who was sitting next to Qetesh replies "look Joey's trying to scare the competition with his weird chicken dance!" Duke who was sitting next to Isra says pointing to Joey who was up on the stage with the other duelists "I need some female friends" Téa replies placing her hand on her forehead both Qetesh and Isra roll their eyes at her "peace and love baby!" Tristen says into the camera holding up two peace sign hand signals with a grin on his face Téa smacks the back of his head and says "try acting normal.... just this once" Qetesh says softly "I thought that was normal!?!.... after all who wouldn't want their two seconds of "fame"!?!.... though if you're trying to get yourself a girlfriend you might want to think of some catchier pick up lines!" Duke chuckles as they hear Roland say through the microphone "and now make some noise for our Master of Ceremonies!" the crowd cheers as a puff of smoke forms around the stage and stage lights wave as a smaller stage that had Mokuba standing on it rises "Mokuba!" Yugi says with a surprised tone "do they always have to be so dramatic?" Tristen asks Isra chuckles softly as Mokuba raises a microphone of his own that he was holding in his hand up towards his mouth and says into it "so are you people ready to get your duel on?! I can't hear you! I said are you people ready to see some dueling or what?!" the cheering from the crowd gets louder Isra and Qetesh couldn't help but chuckle as Mokuba continues "good! cause it's time to kick of the greatest Duel Monsters Tournament ever organized!" Isra mutters softly with a playfully disagreeable tone "I don't know the other two tournaments were pretty good!" as Mokuba continues "and before the week is through we may have a new International Duel Monsters Champion!" Qetesh tease softly with a playful tone as she and Isra hug Yugi and rub their cheeks up against his "how dare he say that!.... there's no one better than our Yugi!!" both Atem and Yugi chuckle as Mokuba says "so give it up for the current title holder Yugi Moto! give a shout out to your fans Yugi!" the crowd chats "Yugi! Yugi! Yugi! Yugi!" and the camera pans onto Yugi's face just as Isra and Qetesh kiss his cheeks at the same time and a deep red blush forms on those cheeks "um.... some other time then" Mokuba says into the mic Duke, Isra and Qetesh chuckle "sorry Yu" Isra says softly "it's ok" Yugi replies with a smile as Mokuba says "so now direct your attention to the Kaibatron! cause it's time to kick off our all-star tournament with the first round match ups! starting with Block A the first competitor to strap on a duel disk will be.... Joey Wheeler! he'll be facing off against our mystery duelist! a man whose true identity remains unknown-- Apdnarg Otum!" Isra smiles and says softly "I hate to say this but.... go Sol!" Yugi look at her and asks with a soft surprised tone "so it is him!?!" she nods then says "let's just hope he doesn't "let" him win!" Mokuba says into his mic "now moving on to Block B up and comer Leon Wilson faces the good doctor.... Richard Goat!" Qetesh cheers loudly with a happy tone "go Leon!!" Leon blushes as he smiles and waves at her "but before the duels get underway there's someone we all want to hear from! so let's try this one more time Yugi come on up here and say a few words!" Mokuba says into the mic "do you want us to come with you!?!" Qetesh asks softly "no.... I can do this!" Yugi replies Qetesh nods at him with a smile Yugi nervously stands up and starts walking he notices Isra nod up at the stage "you mean I have to go all the way up there?!" Yugi asks nervously she nods and replies softly "just be yourself and you'll do fine!" Yugi nods then gulps and heads up to the stage where the other duelist and are as soon as he got there and started waving at the crowd Seto flies above the dome in his Blue Eyes Jet then down to the stage with a jet pack on his back and this time Qetesh gulps nervously then she rushes up to the part of the stage where Mokuba stands and moves him out of the way as Seto lands right where Mokuba was standing the Jet pack falls off Seto's back as his eyes meet Qetesh's then wander up and down her body approvingly just like he did whenever she got "all dolled up" as the girls call it and yet as always she was without makeup which many girls put way too much of on "looks like someone needs to work on their landing skills!" Qetesh mutters as she hands over Mokuba's mic that she took from him when she moved him out of the way then she walks back down to her seat without a single glance Seto's way which made his heart hurt but he was here for business purposes pleasure would have to wait.... till he could get her to forgive him YET again.... "all right.... I'm going to make this brief this is not a show it's the ultimate test of survival and it will push everyone involved to their limits if you came for a friendly game then I'd suggest you go home this is a ruthless battle! and in the end only one duelist will remain standin! now if everyone's clear let's move on! from this moment forward Kaibaland is a battlefield! so trust no one! and may the best duelist win!" Seto says into the mic his eyes kept returning to Qetesh as he spoke and yet she never looked at him which not only hurt his heart but made him feel sad once Seto finishes his speech the crowd chants "Kaiba! Kaiba! Kaiba! Kaiba!" which made him feel a little bit better but not much....
Qetesh and Isra went with Leon to cheer him on as he dueled and congratulated him when he won with a kiss on each cheek they spend a little time with him afterwards then head off on their own and find a man tied up in a closet but at least he still has his boxers on "Mr. Salim!?!" Qetesh questions curiously the man turns his head and looks at her "Mrs. Kaiba!.... I am so glad you're here!" the man replies she smiles at him and says "just give us a few seconds and we'll have you untied and on your way momentarily" the man replies "oh thank you! thank you!!" Isra and Qetesh walk into the closet and untie him then after letting him use the bathroom they take him to see Seto.... "not to add to your burdens Seto...." Seto hears a familiar soft sexy voice say from behind him as he watches the duels from within the main control room and he turns around in his seat to see Isra, Qetesh and a just about naked man walk through the door "Roland could you find Mr. Salim some clothes please.... oh and he had one too many of our burrito's and you know what that means!" Qetesh says with a slight tease in her tone Roland nods then leaves the room "Salim!!" Seto says with a soft surprised tone Qetesh nods then says "I have an idea of who just might have done this but don't worry those two weasels aren't smart enough to hack their way through a paper bag! I doubt they even know how to use a computer at such capacity!.... but they would be so full of themselves to believe that they are "worthy" enough to be here and are probably very unhappy that they weren't even invited to such a prestigious event!.... I doubt they would get any further than Mr. Salim's first duel here anyway!" Seto lets out a short soft chuckle then mutters under his breath "Rex and Weevil!" Roland returns with some medicine and a outfit for the half naked guy Salim profusely thanks everyone and constantly bows over and over again as he does so then he leaves to take the medicine and put on the change into the clothes that Roland brought for him "we'll I suppose we'll take our leave as well.... thank you Roland" Qetesh says then she and Isra start to leave and stop when they hear Seto softly say "please stay!" Isra looks at Qetesh who nods at her then Isra leaves and Qetesh stays but she stays at Roland's side not Seto's Seto sighs and even though he's hurt that she didn't go to him he is happy and grateful that she listened and stayed.... Isra walked over to where Zigfried was having his match "let them duel Mokuba" Mokuba hears a familiar soft voice say and he turns to see Isra walking towards Zigfried "you're brother already knows that these idiots have already cheated!.... besides I have yet to see Zigfried duel and I'm quite curious to know just how poorly these two except defeat!" Isra says Mokuba sighs "how's Sol!?" Isra asks "he's fine.... I have our best doctors taking care of him and Professor Hawkins is keeping him company" Mokuba replies he shakes his head then mutters softly "I should have known you'd figure it out!" Isra smiles at him and says with a playfully slightly exaggerated soft sigh in her tone "from the moment they called out his fake name and I looked into those eyes so purple!" Mokuba chuckles as Rex, Weevil and Zigfried start their duel Isra sits down on the edge of the flower bed behind Zigfried to watch and Mokuba takes a seat beside her though they didn't have to sit for long because Zigfried won with one turn.... the next day Isra once again watches Leon duel but Qetesh sits next to Seto as he watches each duel through the security cameras Seto noticed how Qetesh took particular interest in Zigfried's duel "do you.... like him!?!" Seto asks softly "I did consider him a friend when we were younger but.... no Seto I don't "like" him!.... not in the way you're suggesting.... Leon's kinda cute though!" Qetesh replies Seto chuckles.... it wasn't until Seto and Qetesh worked together to try and control what was happening to the Kaiba Land systems and stop the computer virus from spreading that Seto figured most of it out and started to remember a familiar looking young boy with the same first name as one of his competitors "at least Mokuba's with Yugi and his friends.... he should be safe.... right!?!.... they should have just let him relax..... poor Yu!.... he has far too many responsibilities laying on his shoulder for one so young!" Qetesh whispers in a soft low voice as she works.... it didn't take Seto and Qetesh long to fix some of the problems Roland and his team handled the rest by isolating the virus and rebuild the mainframe hard drive after that Seto initiated the backup system and everything was completely fixed.... for now
