Michael:
Look at this photograph
Every time I do it makes me laugh
"I JUST CAN’T HANDLE IT ANYMORE!" I scream.
Michael’s hand balls into a fist and punches the wall. He screams in agony, I’m not really quite sure if it’s emotional or physical pain.
I hear a loud shattering and notice that a picture frame has hit the ground. I lean down to pick it up. My fingers get cut on the glass, but I don’t care. I stare at the picture. A tear falls from my eye. I quickly wipe it and turn it to show Michael.
"Remember when we took this?" you whisper, collapsing onto the couch.
He stands right next to you.
"Yeah… when we had our first kiss." he smiled lightly.
You gently laugh, “you fell into the pool trying to impress me.”
"You told me that when I fell into the pool was the exact moment you fell for… me." he stated.
You nod slightly.
"Michael?"
"Yeah?"
"I miss this." you say, gesturing to the picture. Luke had taken a picture with the camera that you were carrying around for your photography class. You and Michael were standing there, hand in hand, looking at the sunset.
"I do too, y/n."
"Why can’t we just go back to then?"
He sighs, “you know what, let’s do it. Let’s go back to Ashton’s house. Right now. The sun’s going to set in about an hour.” he suggests, grabbing the picture from your hand and looking at you with hope.
You glance down at the picture, then you smile. You reach up to grab his hand and he helps you up. You run out the door and start you renewed life together
Luke:
It’s hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye.
"Luke, wake up, it’s 5:30, you’re going to miss your flight."
"No babe I can be late it’s okay."
"No, Luke. You can’t be. You can’t start out this tour by being late."
"Babe I just wanna stay here."
"I know you do Luke, trust me, but you can’t let me be the reason you miss this."
"I’m going to miss you." he bluntly says, sitting up in the bed.
"I’m going to miss you too." you say, smiling and pecking his lips.
"But you’re also going to miss your flight, so get up." you say, grabbing his right arm in both of yours and pulling as hard as you can to make him stand up. He eventually helps you and stands up. He slowly walks over to the bathroom and brushes his teeth and hair. He walks out and notices that you’re not there. He grabs his suitcase that you two had packed together the night before.
"Babe?" he calls to the house.
You’re still not there. He lets his suitcase fall to the ground and he starts running around the house. He opens the front door and notices that the van to take them to the airport is there. He runs inside and brings his suitcase out. He opens the side door, “sorry guys, I can’t find y/n right now so hold on a second.”
He runs back into the house. You’re standing in the kitchen.
"Babe!" he says, running up to you.
"Luke!" you say, hugging him.
"Where were you?"
"I was peeing…"
"Oh…"
"On a stick."
"Why were you peeing on a stick?"
"Luke." you say, looking him in the eyes.
"What?"
You stare at him again, giving him time to think about it.
"Oh my gosh!" he exclaims, pulling you up to kiss you.
"Yeah." you weakly smile.
"Wow. How can I—- I can’t leave now!"
"Yes you can, Luke. You can go, I’m probably only a month along so I’ll be fine. You’ll be on hiatus when it gets bad. Luke, it’s okay." you say, even though he shakes his head through your speech.
"I can’t-"
"Luke," you cut him off, "you’re going to leave. You’re going to go tour the world and when you come back, I’m going to push this baby out of me and we’ll finally be parents." you smile.
He looks down at you.
He shakes his head again.
You reach out and grab his hand. You start to drag him to the front door. He stops there, so you have to help him again. You grab his arm and drag him out to the car, open the door and practically force him in there.
"Bye guys! He’s going to be moody because his wife is pregnant so have fun dealing with that! Love you guys!" you say to his band members before turning to Luke, "it’ll be alright," you whisper, pecking his lips again.
"I love you." he says.
"I love you too, goodbye."
Ashton:
We used to listen to the radio
And sing along with every song we know
“Throw it away, forget yesterday
We’ll make the great escape
We won’t hear a word they say
They don’t know us anyway
Watch it burn, let it die, cause we are finally free tonight”
You both scream the song at the top of your lungs. You’re on a road trip through California. When you’re not sleeping, you guys are singing to the songs on your iPod.
"Hey Ash," you say, turning the music down.
"yeah?"
"Do you think this will last forever?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean like, us getting to drive around just us two, singing at the top of our lungs. Like… will we be able to keep doing this."
"As long as we want to, we can."
"Ashton, I mean like when we’re old. We won’t want to do this anymore."
"You don’t know that."
"I saw it happen to all of my older friends. Once they got married and stuff they started settling down and stopped doing fun things."
"Well we’re cooler than them."
"Ash. I’m serious."
"So am I. We’re young at heart. That’s what I love about you. We can be goofy together and act like toddlers even though were in our twenties. And yeah, I don’t like the fact that I’m going to get old, but I do love the fact that I get to grow old with you."
"You really believe we’ll grow old together?"
"No."
You stay silent, looking straight ahead.
"I think I’m going to stay young with you forever."
Calum:
I miss it now
I can’t believe it
So hard to stay
Too hard to leave it
"I can’t believe we’re finally moving out!" you say, putting the last box into the moving van and walking hand in hand back inside with your boyfriend, Calum.
"I know. It feels so wrong to leave the house but I’m glad that my cousin’s getting it so it’ll stay in the family."
"Yeah…" you trail off.
"I can’t leave this house."
"Calum, you know we have to. We have to move closer to both of our jobs."
He sighs, hugging you tightly.
"I love you." he whispers, kissing the top of your head.
"I love you too." you say, letting your head rest on his chest.
He starts to hum the beat to your favorite song. He begins to sway side to side, dancing to the music that he is creating. Once the song is over, he leans down, grabs your face and kisses you passionately.
"I’m going to miss this house but I don’t care as long as I’m with you."
"You’re being really sappy right now." you laugh.
"Fine, you want me to be manly?"
You roll your eyes, “sure.”
He pins you against the wall.
"Let’s do it one last time before we leave this house for good."
"Calum, there’s no furniture."
"Let’s do it on the floor."
"It’s not as cute as it is in the movies, it gonna hurt, plus we did plenty of it last night." you smile.
"Fine. But I expect this to finish when we get to our new house, it’ll make it easier to say goodbye to this one."
"Maybe." you say, smirking, grabbing his hand and walking him out the door to the car.
