Three o' clock couldn't have come any faster. I even attempted to procrastinate which seemed to speed up time.
I don't know how that's even possible.
Elijah and I texted on the whereabouts of out meet which was possibly the most cliche option.
The coffee shop.
That's what had me sitting all alone in the corner of a coffee shop, drinking a iced white mocha.
The bell dinged, signalling someone's arrival.
"I don't even like fucking coffee dude!" Isaac yelled.
Elijah continued to push him in.
And then he spotted me.
His whole demeanor changed, and he walked more apprehensively.
"Avalon?" He asked in disbelief.
"In the flesh." I smiled.
Isaac turned around to say something to his brother, but was met with air.
How surprising, he left...
Isaac walked up to me, hands stuck in his pocket and he cleared his throat.
"Hey." He said shyly.
"Hello." I greeted, having no idea where my sprighty attitude came from.

It's crazy that we both happened to be at the came coffee shop." He started.
"Dude your brother set you up..." I mentioned, before bursting into laughter.
"Your laugh is really cute." He complimented, wearing a soft smile.
Even though the one who said that to me was sitting across from me, I couldn't help but think of the one fucking person I couldn't have.
It always reverted back to her.
Maybe it was because I really wanted to be her friend?
I don't fucking know.
"So um... About us.." He began, twiddling his fingers.
My eyebrows pulled together, remembering why I was here.
Was I ready for a relationship?
I barely even know who the fuck this dude is.
"I was thinking maybe we could take it slow n' shit and we might-"
"I am going to have to cut you off." I interrupted, wincing.
I thought of her, her sparkling ocean eyes, her voice from heaven, the smile that could cure depression, the goofiest person I will ever meet.
"I-I can't do this... Fuck, I'm gay!" I yelled out, pulling my hair.
I got up and began storming out of the shop.
I needed to clear my head.
"Wait Ava!" Isaac screamed after me.
Blurred out yells played in my head, coming from behind me but I didn't care. I needed to get the fuck out of here.
It was only then that I noticed something was wrong.
I turned my head, hearing the loud horn of a car.
Someone wouldn't make it out of there the same way they came.
