Michael:
And the tears come streaming down your face

"I made a mistake man."
"You can’t get her back, Michael. She’s moved on." Calum explains to his best friend.
"No, I have to get her back."
"Michael, she has a new boyfriend now, you let her go."
"No. No one will ever compare to her. I need her." he whispers, tears streaming down his face.
Calum reaches his arms around his friend to comfort him.
Suddenly, the front door opens.
"(y/n)." Michael whispers.
"Michael. I-I made a mistake. I shouldn’t have moved on. I shouldn’t have broken up with you. I understand why you did what you did now. I can never replace you." you say, tears rushing down your face.
"(y/n) it’s all my fault I’m so sorry" Michael says, running over and hugging you, crying even more.
"It’s no one’s fault Michael, can we please just be together again. I’ve cried everyday since I left. I can’t bear it anymore."
"Yes we can." he says, kissing you passionately.
Luke:
Lights will guide you home

Luke finishes reading the note you left on the bed. You decided that your depression was just getting too bad and it would only hurt Luke in the end. You left a note telling him that you were leaving and you just… left. You didn’t take any of the stuff you left at his house, you just left. Luke sits on the bed, clutching the note. He lays down eventually, all the tears had passed and he lay there, shivering. It was so cold without you. He gets startled by a noise in the kitchen, but decides not to check it. He just lays there. He doesn’t understand how you could just leave like that. Tonight was going to be the night he would ask you to move in with him.
"Luke." you say, at the doorway.
He turns around slowly.
"(y/n)." he whispers.
"I-I’m sorry" you muster out.
"Baby. Why are you apologizing?"
"Because. I’m not strong enough. That’s why I left the note. I just can’t do it anymore. But when I was walking around in the darkness, I realized that you are the light at the end of the tunnel. And the light brought me home."
"(y/n). You are the light of my life. I love you."
"I love you too Luke."
"Please lay with me." he says, patting the space next to him in the bed.
You slip off your shoes and jacket and lay next to him. He wraps his arms around you and brings you closer.
"Live with me."
"What?"
"Come live with me. Move in with me."
"Even after all of that?"
"Yes. I can’t stand not being with you. Please move in."
You nod and smile, kissing him

"So guys, this is Derek." you smile at your four best friends, Ashton, Luke, Michael, and Calum.
"Nice to meet ya, dude." Luke says, shaking his hand, followed by Michael and Calum. Ashton just ignores it.
You take your seat at the table and Derek sits next to you. Ashton takes the seat opposite you, glaring into space. Calum, Michael, and Luke all take the other seats and you start reading the menu. After you order your drinks and food, you realize how bad you have to pee. You excuse yourself and walk to the ladies room. You do your business and as you’re walking out, you see Ashton sitting on a bench right outside the restrooms.
"Ashton?" you ask.
He looks up at you. His eyes look like he’s either really stoned or he’s been crying.
"Are you okay?" you ask, sitting next to him.
"Yeah, I guess." he says, looking at his feet.
"Ashton, you’re crying. Why?"
"Well I guess I just found out that someone I’ve been in love with for years has a boyfriend and I can’t stand it."
"Who?" you ask.
He just stares at the ground, “you wouldn’t know her.”
"Do you want a hug or anything?"
"No." he snaps.
"Ashton, what’s your problem."
"I just told you my problem, (y/n). My problem is that I love you and that guy ‘Derek’ or whatever has you now. I guess I missed my time. Have fun with him." he says, starting to walk towards the back exit.
"Ashton." you say, and he turns around.
You grab his face and kiss him passionately.
"(y/n)." he whispers.
"I’ve been waiting for years for that to happen. Derek was just a distraction because I never thought you’d see me like that. I’ve only been on a couple dates with him. I just never thought—"
Ashton cuts you off, kissing you.
"Woah." you hear from behind you.
You turn around to see a very startled Derek.
"I just came back to check on you but… I’m going to leave now." he says, running his hands through his hair, then exiting the restaurant.
You look back at Ashton.
"I’m hungry." you say.
"Me too, let’s go eat." he says, grabbing your hand and leading you back to the table.
