Episode: Love Muffin
"Uhh, just a friendly reminder. I've won Most Attractive Guy in Swellview for the past 12 years. So, it's kind of in the bag." Rai says defensively.
"Well ya, but your kind of old now." I taunt Rai.
"I'm old?" Rai asks.
"Ya? I mean what are you? Like over 50?"
"Fif-Fifty? Did you just say the 'F' word?"
I try to cut in.
"I'm thirty five Henry, you know that." Rai laughs, but there's venom in his words.
I look back to Jasper and Charlotte. They frantically point to their hair. I get the message.
"Uhh, well, you're starting to lose your hair a little bit." I name off.
"What did you just say to me?" Rai asks dangerously.
"Hey, where's Gwen?" I ask.
"Gwen happens to be getting ready to go rob a bank." Rai snaps. I fight back a laugh, if Rai was in control, he would never say these things.
"Or, maybe she's not going to rob a bank. Maybe she's going to meet some other guy."
"She's going to rob a bank!" Rai exclaims.
"Or, maybe she's going to meet some other guy named Rob... Banks."
"That's stupid! That's not a guys name!" Rai says.
"Ya it is. Just face it Rai, Gwen doesn't want you, she wants Robert J. Banks! You know why? I bet he's way better looking than you." I taunt.
"Not possible!"
"Yep. He's probably in his early thirties."
"That's enough!" Rai orders.
"Ya, I bet he's going to kiss her so good." I say. I mock kissing with my hands as Rai covers his ears. "Oh! Gwen you kiss like a princess! Ooh your lips feel like hot pie!"
Just as I was getting into it, Rai let's put a roar and charges towards me. I scream as he grabs my shirt and throws me across the room towards the elevator.
I feel a sickly pain shoot through my abdomen.
I take a breath and push myself up.
"It's not my fault if she likes younger guys." He walks over to me and grabs my shirt.
I break free. "Oh! Is that some grey hair? Is that some grey hair?" I ask before being pushed down.
Charlotte bends down toward me.
"Keep going! You've got to make him madder!" She says.
"Ya, I'm working on that!" I say before being dragged back by Rai.
Rai wrestles with me. Before pushing me across the room, into the control center.
"Come on! You ain't so bad!" I say before he charges over to me. I duck just in time.
I try to get the upper hand by latching on to his back but he throws me backwards into the sofa.
Crack.
I feel my shoulder crack. Shit.
Jasper doesn't seem to notice though because he helps me up.
"This is so cool to watch!" He exclaims. Of course he'd say something like that.
"I'm glad you're having a good time." I gasp out sarcastically.
"Oh! Go!" He says, pushing me back to Rai.
Rai grabs me again and hurls me into the stairs. I scream.
Crack.
I think my shoulder just broke.
Rai runs toward me.
I kick him off with the last of my strength.
I push myself up into standing position.
"She probably" I breath out. "Makes muffins for lots of guys."
"SHE ONLY MAKES MUFFINS FOR ME!" Rai roars. Oh now I've done it.
"Oh God!" I yell.
He charges over to me and flips me over.
Pain.
My shoulder. Shit
Pain.
Stomach. Shit
Pain.
My skull. Double shit.
My friends, upon hearing this try to make their way over to me.
"NO! DON'T GO ANY CLOSER!" Rai yells. My friends freeze.
He walks over, ray gun in hand.
Oh god.
This is it.
"RAI DON'T!" Charlotte yells. But only one millisecond too late.
You know how in movies, they slow everything down when you're being shot at?
That's what it kind of felt like.
I feel a burning, rip through my shoulder.
I cry out in pain. I look up to see my friends rushing towards me.
They're speaking to me. I almost hear Charlotte telling me not to fall asleep.
In the background, I see Rai fall to the floor.
It worked. I smile before losing consciousness.
No One's POV
As Rai shot the gun, time seemed to slow. Charlotte, Jasper and Schwoz screamed.
Henry seemed to already except it. And in a way. He had. He knew the risks of fighting Rai.
Charlotte had warned him.
The blue beam shot through his shoulder.
He screamed out in pain.
We rushed over to him.
"HENRY! HENRY CAN YOU HERE ME? ITS JASPER!" Jasper yells.
"HENRY DON'T FALL ASLEEP!" Charlotte yells.
"HENRY! STAY VITH US!" Schwoz orders.
But the one thing they didn't notice was that Henry wasn't looking at them. Henry was looking at Rai.
He had snapped out of his trance and fell to the floor.
Henry smiled before passing out.
Rai's POV
I push myself off the ground. I feel weird.
Then I remember.
Gwen.
Henry.
The fight.
The gun.
I shot Henry.
I shot Henry.
I look over in horror to find Schwoz pull gaze out of the drawer. He was quickly pressing it against a bleeding wound on Henry's shoulder.
Now that I can look at him. Really look at him, I feel my stomach twist.
His shoulder was bleeding through the bandages. His shoulder was at an odd angle, bruising covered his stomach and chest, his head was bleeding so I think I cracked his skull.
My heart dropped.
"Henry..." I say.
Schwoz continues to pack bandages on the wound. Charlotte rips open Henry's shirt to reveal more bruising.
"Schwoz... Henry, is he..."
"No, he's alive. Come here! I need you to help."
I run over to the scene unfolding in front of me.
"I'm so sorry Henry, but this is going to hurt." Charlotte said. Tears running down her face. She took his shoulder and set it.
Henry cried out in pain, seemingly now conscious.
"I know Henry, I know it hurts." Charlotte soothed.
Jasper grabbed more gaze from the drawer and packed it on Henry's head.
I run back from the scene, over to the Auto Machine.
"Large Ice Pack, Arnica Cream and a Large Elastic Bandage." I grab the pack, cream and bandage.
I run back to Henry and the gang. I apply the the cream to Henry's chest and stomach. He squirms at the pressure.
I wrap the bandage around his chest and stomach, and place the ice pack over it.
"Rai?" Henry breathed out.
"Ya, Hen I'm here." I say.
"Are you ok?" Henry asks.
I could almost laugh. Henry has a broken shoulder, a bruised abdomen and torso and a cracked skull, but he still is worried about me.
"Ya kid, I'm fine. But you, I'm so sorry."
"Rai, it's fine, you didn't know what you were doing."
"Henry, I'm so sorry."
"I'm alright." Henry said with a smile. God this kid.

No POV
So turns out Henry had a broken shoulder, a gash on his head, bruised abdomen and a concussion.
Charlotte had to set the break. Rai packed the abdomen, Jasper helped keep the bleeding in tact. Schwoz closed the laser wounds and cleaned the gash.
Henry healed after two weeks thanks to Schwoz's advanced medical technology.
Gwen was knocked out and brought to jail.
And everything was as it should be.
