Nandini woke up at five. She came out of Manik's grip amd went to freshen up. She came out and sat beside Manik. She kissed his mole making him groan.
Manik- mmm.... Nandini let me sleep.
But she did not stop and kissed his both cheeks sucking them a little. He pulled her and took her under him.
Manik- playing with me this early may make you regret your job wifey. You know that, do you???
She encircled her arms around his neck and nodded. She had her lower lip in her mouth. He released it and spoke
Manik- don't do that...
He released it but she being in a naughty mood again started bitting it. He released it again spoke
Manik- you are in a naughty mood Mrs. Malhotra.
Nandini- any doubt...
He smiled and nodded in a no. He bent down and placed his lips on her for a soulful kiss.
Manik- morning Mrs. Manik Malhotra.
She blushed hearing Mrs. Manik Malhotra and wished him back.
Nandini- morning to you too Mr. Malhotra. Now freshen up. If you are forgetting, we have a flight to catch.
Kissing her forehead, he got up and was about to enter the washroom when he turned to her. She was choosing dress to wear when he spoke
Manik- you bathed??
Nandini- haa. I already did it's you who's left.
She spoke placing her dress on the bed and went to the dressing table. He observed her action and went to her. He took the vermillion box and put some in her hairline.
Manik- never keep your hairline empty no matter what.
He spoke in an authoritative yet soft voice. She nodded and smiled. He too smiled and pecked her hair. He was about to enter the washroom when again turned to her and spoke
Manik- Nandini ....
Nandini- ji...
She stopped her work turned to him.
Manik- mere kapre nikaldo please.
She nodded but a thought crossed her mind. She was about to say something but Manik had already gone inside.
She then took out a blue pants and white shirt for him. Neither too formal nor informal.
She then herself changed in the room itself as she knew Manik would not come out any soon.
She sat on the bed waiting for Manik to come. Soon Manik came out with his bare chest and towel wrapped around his waist. For a moment Nandini was lost in him. He clicked his fingers in front of her eyes. She shrugged and looked at him. He was looking at her with eyebrows raised and smirk on his face. She covered her face with her palms and spoke
Nandini- Manik aap kuch pehenke kyu nae aae. Jldi se wear your clothes.
Manik- arre thodi deer pehle toh you we're enjoying the view, ab kya hua.
She took the pillow and hid her face in it. Manik chuckled and wore his clothes. He then went to the dressing table doing other chores. Nandini looked up and sighed seeing his fully dressed standing near the dressing table fixing his hair. She placed the pillow back and sat there looking at him. He turned to her and spoke
Manik- hmmm.... let's go.
Nandini nodded and stood up. Manik kept looking at her for a brief moment. She nervously checked herself and spoke
Nandini- k... k... kya hua... am I not looking good??? Kuch.... kuch garbar hai???
She stood in front of the mirror checking herself. Once satisfied, she turned to him and spoke
Nandini- sb... sb.. kuch... toh.. thi... thiik .... lgraha hai....
He said nothing and started moving towards her, his gaze fixed on her. She started moving back and soon she was caged between the dressing table and him. She lowered her eyes and he saying nothing took the clip from her hair. Her hair rolled down to her waist and he straightened them with his fingers. Lifting her face with his forefinger he kissed her forehead earning a smile from her. He too smiled and both went down. They greeted the elders and touched their feet. Neyonika noticed Nandini's empty neck and spoke
Neyonika- Nandu tuune koe jewellery kyu nae pehni beta. Naey dulhan ko kuch na kuch pehenkr rakhna chahea.
Nandini did not know what to say and to rescue her Manik spoke
Manik- mom meine he mnah kiya tha. Vo she was having pain around her neck last night because of those heavy jewellery. Vese bhe mangalsutra hai, kisi jewellery ke kya zrurat.
Neyonika- toh tuune mujhe pehle kyu nae btaya(she asked worried).
Nandini- neyoma vo bs raat mein tha. Ab thiik hai, aap tension mtlo.
Neyonika nodded and soon the others to arrived. Their luggage was already placed in the trunks and everyone moved out towards their cars.

Nandini kissed her cheek and spoke

She then picked her up in her arms and got busy with her.

Everyone decided to go to Murty Mansion as vidaai rituals we're left. Nandini became sad hearing her but plastered a fake smile on her face. They moved out but to their dismay there was a huge crowd around them.
Crowd- congratulations Manan!!!
Manan waved their hands at them and soon the bodygaurds came clearing the way for them. All this while Manik had his one hand around her waist. He made her sit in the car and then looked around. Making sure nobody was left, he too sat inside.
Murty Mansion
Mumbai
Everyone was sitting in the living room as the servants we're arranging the morning tea and Shreya and Sadhna we're doing the preperations for vidai.
Nandini- mein abhi aae....
She excused herself.
Karan- kaha jaarae hai???
Nandini- room mein. Aati hu thodi deer mein.
He nodded and she left.
Nandini's Room
She entered the room and locked the door. She looked around and a few tears escaped her eyes.
Nandini's POV
Kuch he mahino mein iss room se itni attachments hogae mere. Ab isse chodkr jaana bohot mushkil lgraha hai. (She sat on the bed with Ishita's frame in hand). Aaj aapki bohot yaad aarae hai Ishima. Aaj agar aap yaha hoti toh mujhe zrur sehlati. I'm so nervous. Mere life poora u-turn lene vaali hai. Naey family, naey rishte.... mein kese manage krungi sb. Agar mujhse koe glti hogae toh....

There was a knock on the door. Nandini cleared her tears and placed the frame back.
Nandini- ek second....
She opened the door and found Manik standing there with a worried face.
Nandini- aap???
Manik- haa... I came to call you.
Nandini- aap chalea, mein bs abhi aae.
She turned to go back when he held her wrist.
Manik- kuch hua hai Nandini??? Is something disturbing you???
Nandini- nae kuch bhe nae hua. Aapko esa kyu lgga???
He held her chin and made her look at him.
Manik- yeh baat mere taraf dekhkr bolo....
She looked down, her eyes again filled with tears. He noticed it and cupping her face spoke
Manik- jaan kya hua hai, tell me. Kisi ne kuch bola?? Are you hurt??? Kahi lgi hai???
She held her hands and spoke
Nandini- kuch nae hua. Bs thodi deer mein vidaai hai so senti hogae.
He sighed and rubbed off her tears.
Manik- drra diya tumne.
She chuckled and spoke
Nandini- don't worry. Mein face wash krle aati hu, aap chalea.
Manik- I'll wait, tum wash krlo.
She nodded and turned to go when Manik again held her wrist. She turned to him and he spoke
Manik- pkka tumhari iss chuppi ka koe aur reason nae hai na Nandini???
She assured him through her eyes and he reluctantly nodded his head. Both came down and Neyonika noticed her eyes. She made a mental note of asking her about it later. Soon it was time of vidaai. Manik had his gath-bandhan dupatta on his shoulder and Nandini held it in her hand.
Navya had the puffed rice thaal and Nandini took a hand-full of rice throwing it behind her back.
She did this five times and turned to hug her father. Both sobbed in each others embrace. She then hugged Karan who himself had tears in his eyes.
Karan- koe bhe pareshaani ho, your brother is always there for you okk...
She nodded and he kissed her head in affection. She hugged Sadhna and Shushant
Sadhna- tere maa toh nae hu pr maa zrur hu. Apna dyaan rakhna beta aur koe bhe baat ho toh humsb humesha hai yaha tere lea.
Nandini- please esa mt kahea badima. Aapne toh mere lia Ishima se bhe badhkr kiya hai.
Sadhna- ek baar phir se bol...
Nandini- badima....
Sadhna kissed her whole face admist her tears.
Nandini - Manyu kaha hai???
Everyone looked around to find him but he was nowhere to be seen.
Karan- he can't face you kiddo, kitchen mein chupke betha hai. Mein lekr aata hu.
Meanwhile Nandini hugged Shreya and Aashi. Aashi was too crying in her mother's arms.
Aashi- boo(bua) mt jaona..... (sniffing) Aashi gul (good) baby bnke lahegi(rahegi) pomis (sniffing) mtjao...
Nandini took her in her arms and wiped her tears.
Nandini- bua ko jana hai beta. Pr aap good girl hona....
Aashi- nae boo (bua).... aap mtjao... Aashi ko bhe leke jao agal(agar) jaalae ho(jaarae ho) toh....
Manik took her from Nandini and wipped her tears.
Manik- baby agar aap apni bua ke saath aagae toh piche se sbka dyaan kon rakhega hmm??? Aashi toh big girl haina... Aap sbka dyaan rakhna jese bua rakhti thi. Aap rakhogi na???
Aashi wiped the tears from her eyes and cupped Manik's face with her small hands.
Aashi- haa mamu mein lakhungi (rakhungi) sbka dyaan.
Manik- that's like my doll. See itni si baat thi and you wasted so many precious pearls hmm...
He caressed her hair. Aashi giggled hearing him and everyone sighed in relief. Handling a crying Aashi was always difficult for them as she would often spoil her health 'cz of continuous crying. Meanwhile Karan dragged Abhimanyu out giving no heed to his words.
Nandini- Manyu tum nae miloge mujhe before I go...
She asked moving towards him. He took her in his embrace and spoke
Abhimanyu- I don't have the guts to send you off baby doll. I'll miss irritating you, manofying you, our fights everything.
Nandini- I'll miss it too Manyu.
Both shed some tears. To lighten the atmosphere he spoke
Abhimanyu- chal rona bnd kr. Khud bhe senti horae hai aur mujhe bhe krdiya. Chudail kahi ki....
She slapped his shoulder and chuckled. Abhimanyu then turned to Manik and spoke
Abhimanyu- bay... agar mere behen tere vjah se roi na toh apna harshar dekhlio...
Manik hugged him and he reciprocated equally.
Cabir- tere se pehle toh mein hadiya tod dunga iski Abhi.
Cabir and Abhimanyu hi-fied and Manik took Nandini in a side hug.
Manik- I need to be careful from these dangerous brothers of yours Mrs. Malhotra....
He whispered in her ear. She leaned to his touch and smiled looking at him.
Neyonika- chalo Mukti, Alya, Navya hum aage chalte hai. Bacho(she turned to Manan).... Hum chalte hai tum dono piche piche aao. Ghreh Pravesh ke teyari krne hai....
Meeting everyone they left. Karan and Abhimanyu pushed the car according to the rituals with teary eyes and Manik drove off to Malhotra Mansion. He had decided to drive himself due to much needed privacy for them. He noticed Nandini still sniffing looking at her lap. He took one of her hand and entwined with his.
Manik- bs na kitten. ... you'll spoil your health crying so much...
Nandini- mein kya kru Manik yeh aanso ruk nae rae. I'm trying since long pr nae rukrae..
Manik chuckled and spoke
Manik- I feel like gobbling you up for this cuteness of yours kitten.
He bent towards her and kissed her cheek hard.

Malhotra Mansion
Mumbai
They reached Malhotra Mansion and Neyonika put a few oil drops on the entrace of the house.
She then did their aarti and took the water pot. This is called pani varna.
The mother-in-law has to drink water from garvi(small pot) after doing aarti. Each time she tries to drink the groom stops her. After five- seven tries, the groom allows her to drink.
Neyonika tried to drink water from the pot but Manik stopped her every time. Finally after five tries Neyonika drank the water and then Mukti bought the kalash full of rice. Nandini pushed it lightly and then dipped her feet in red water. Manan entered the house hand in hand.
Neyonika- chalo Nandu, mandir mein diya jala and pray for your better future.
They went to the mandir and after a small praying session they sath there itself for other rituals. Alya and Navya bought a bowl with milk and rose and placed it in the centre. Neyonika took Nandini's engagement ring and dipped in it.
Neyonika- ab tum dono ko yeh ring dhundni hai. Jisse pehle mili, he/she will have the upper hand in marriage. Tum dono ke pass teen chances hai.
Manan dipped their hands in the bowl and started finding the ring. Manik held her hand inside the bowl. She looked at him but he pretended as if nothing happened.
Mukti- arre jldi nikalo.... ring hai yaa kya hai...
Ranveer- bunny ring tab niklegi na jb bhai bhabi ka haath chodenge....
Neyonika- badmash.... (she hit Manik's shoulder). Ek time ke lia toh mein bhe soch mein padgae ke ring meine daali bhe hai yaa nae.
Everyone laughed on her statement and Nandini blushed. Finally Manik took out the ring and everyone clapped. In the second and third try Nandini took out the ring.
Mukti- so bhabi will be ruling your married life....
Everyone clapped and Manik spoke
Manik- she already rules my heart Muku, ab aage ke zindagi bhe karegi.
The elders smiled and the younger clan hooted making Nandini blush.
Jaya- ab iss game mein Manik tujhe Nandini ke mehendi mein apna name dhundna hai.
Nandini forward her palms and he kept looking at it for a brief moment.
Manik- arre yeh kese game hai. Koe hint toh do....
Navya- koe hint nae hota. Ab dhundo...
Manik- arre ese kese. Look at the pattern it's so confusing. Acha itna btado konse hand mein hai.
Alya- no cheating Manik.
He huffed and then started searching. After 15mins he pointed at her right palm. Nandini nodded and everyone clapped.
Alya- ab Nandini you have to give him a gift.
Nandini- pr mere pass abhi kuch nae hai...
Manik- no problem. I'll take it later with interest.
Cabir/Mukti/Ranveer- ooe hoeee.... interest....
Manik smirked seeing Nandini's red face.
Dhruv- buddy sharam kr. Sb badde bethe hai yaha aur Nandu ko dekh bichari sharam se laal horae hai.
Manik- buddy sharam kis baat ki. Biwi hai mere, shaadi krke laya hu....
He spoke with full authority. This was the thing with Manik. He never hesitated to show his love.
Next Mukti tied a few thread on Manik's hand and Alya did it for Nandini.
Cabir- Mukalya thoda tight bandhna, dekhna aasani se khule na...
Both nodded and after tieing the threads wet it with water.
Neyonika- iss game mein Nandu you can use your both hands pr Manik tu sirf ek use krskta hai.
Mukti- mom iss ka mtlb kya hai??
Neyonika- iss game ka significance yeh hai beta ke Manik aur Nandu kese apni aage ke life sort out rakhte hai. Agar ganth khool li toh yeh dono apne larae jgro ko maturely handle karenge....
Mukti- wow this is interesting.
Manik and Nandini both opened the knots. While for Nandini it was abit easy as she used both her hands and Manik used only one.
Neyonika- ab Veer apni bhabi ke godh mein beth aur Mannu you have to give him negh agar apni biwi chudvaani hai toh...
Everyone laughed and Ranveer rubbed his hands in excitement. Manik made an irritated face and spoke
Manik- mom yeh kese game hai. Vo toh pehle he itni se hai, yeh itna mota iski uppr bethega toh bichari ka kuch bachega he nae.
Ranveer- excuse me mota kisko bola???
She asked faking anger.
Nandini- haa!!! Aur itni si se aapka kya mtlb???
She too joined him.
Manik- toh galat kya bola....
He shrugged his shoulders.
Ranveer- pehle meine socha tha jldi maan jaunga aur uttr jaunga pr ab nae maanne vaala mein.... huh....
Harsh- ab bss bhe karo bacho. Chal Veer beth...
He too spoke excitedly. Everyone chuckled seeing his excitement. Ranveer then sat in her lap and Manik proposed him some money. Agreeing to a certain amount Ranveer got down from her lap.
Ranveer- bhabi mein aapko zada pareshaan toh nae kiya na....
Nandini smiled and nodded in a no. Meanwhile servants bought some thaals and placed it there.
Neyonika- Nandu yeh thaal ghr ke harek sdasya ko darshaati hai. You have to keep them one above the other without making any noise. The more noise you make, the more you'll face a cliff with that person...
Nandini nodded nervously and started placing them one on the other trying her best not to make any sound. She placed the last thaal and sighed in relief.
Everyone clapped and Neyonika spoke
Neyonika- acha ab bs hogya. Chalo sb apne kamro mein aaram krlo. Shaam ko muh dikhai ke rasam hai.
Manan's room
Nandini was standing in front of the mirror removing her jewellery when Manik came out of the washroom and back hugged her. She smiled seeing him from the mirror and spoke
Nandini- aapne change nae kiya???
Manik- nae. Vo I just got a call from office. Need to pay a visit.
Nandini- that means aap muh-dikhai ke time nae honge???
She spoke in a sad voice.
Manik- I'll be back before that. Muh- dikhai toh panch bje hai aur abhi sirf barah bje hai. I'll be back till lunch time. You sleep till then okk...
She nodded and he kissed her forehead. He picked her up in bridal style and took her to the bed. Tucking her properly he spoke
Manik- sleep!!! I'll be back soon.
She nodded and kissing her forehead, he left.
