"I'm just making sure you have everything. Hairbrush, toothbrush, clothes for tomorrow, moisturiser, it's meant to be good for your skin" Kevin listed as she nodded. She was spending the night at the Milkoviches, she did every second Saturday. "I'll see you later kid" he said while hugging her, he didn't let go when she did so she was stuck in a bear hug. "Kev, this is ridiculous. It's one night" she said as he nodded and stood up straighter. "I know, I know, you're my baby though, it's hard" he said while wiping his eyes as Veronica turned to look at him. "Are you crying ?" she asked as he quickly stopped dabbing his eyes. "No" he said in a deeper voice than usual so she nodded. "Great, well there's two shitty diapers that need changing in the kitchen with your name on them" she said while tapping his chest and he walked off. "You call if you need anything" V said as she nodded. "You two are so dramatic. I go every second Saturday" she said as V nodded back, fake smiled and let her go. Letting her stay with the Milkoviches was never not going to carry a risk and they were both very aware of this.
"Mickey isn't coming to the arcade but he'll be at home when you get there, I promise" Mandy said while cupping her little sisters face with one hand. Her heart swelled with love every time she saw her because she always viewed herself as Missy's Fiona. "I missed you" she added as Missy smiled. "I missed you, what's going on with you and Lip ?" she asked as her sister stood up straight and rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. "He say something about me ?" she asked as Missy shook her head. "Just some talk at school" she answered truthfully, Mandy was thrown off by the question and needed to divert the attention immediately. "Come on let's play some games. We can't have you thinking you can beat my ass I'm the one who taught you all you know" she said trying to change the subject. She was too in love with him and he didn't feel the same way so when someone mentioned him it felt like her heart was being ripped out of her chest all over again and she didn't like to relive it.
"I beat you in that one. One thousand and ten percent" Mandy announced as they walked away from the shooting game, Missy's eyes were glued to a motorcycle game and once she stopped infront of it, Mandy saw her whole face light up. "You want to play this one ?" Mandy asked confused as her sister nodded so she slipped the three required quarters into the slot. She saw nothing but pure joy once her sister sat on it, she constantly felt the need to please people. "Y'know, I could hook you up with a ride on a real motorcycle, you don't need these virtual ones" Mandy said as her sister grinned which made her even happier than she was making her sister happy.
They played a few more games before heading home. "I called the pizza delivery guy about half an hour ago, he should be here" Mandy announced as they walked through the hallway to see Mickey sprawled on the couch with an Xbox controller in one hand and a beer in the other. A strange woman Missy had never seen before sat next to him looking alert.
"Oh, hi kid" Mickey said through a loud belch, his eyes were glued to the television. "Mickey" Mandy shouted as he rolled his eyes before standing up. "Jesus, sorry. Tell me what you want and I'll make it my duty to get it for you" he said in a mocking tone before bowing infront of her. "That better" he hollered at Mandy who went to get plates from the kitchen. "You-uh-how's school, do you even go ? Do you want a beer ?" he began but she interrupted him.
"Who's that ?" Missy asked while pointing at the woman sitting on the couch.
"Oh uh, she's a Russian whore. Don't worry bout her" he said, trying to change the subject but the woman stood up. "I'm Svetlana. I cook, I clean and I do wifely duties" she said while smiling, she had a thick Russian accent. "Mickeys getting married" Mandy said as she walked over to the pair. "You ?Getting married To who ?" she asked confused. "To me, I have his baby" Svetlana said as Missy's jaw dropped. "You're getting married and having a baby and didn't think to tell me ?" she asked shocked as he picked up his controller again. "It's nothing really kid, it's just something you have to do I guess. A part of life" Mickey said truthfully, he honestly thought it was nothing. "Of course he think this. He does assfuck with orange boy" Svetlana said coldly as Missy's jaw dropped.
"Orange boy ? Who's that ? Are you gay ?" she asked confused as he stood up once again. "There's no orange boy. She's a whore, get it ? She gets drugs from the old men she jacks off. She doesn't know what she saying and if you ask stupid fucking questions like that again I'll knock your fucking teeth out" he said as Mandy gave him a death glare "Am I invited to this wedding" Missy asked as Mickey shrugged. "Don't see why not" he said before pressing his cigarette to his lips. "We'd obviously have to ask your social worker first" Mandy said. She was trying to keep the family together and if she saw them without having the social workers permission then it could end badly.
"I wouldn't worry about it, they've given up on the Milkoviches" Missy said honestly as Mandy furrowed his eyebrows. "W-what do you mean" she asked confused, she didn't understand why, she'd done everything right since they could got the go-ahead to see her. "She means we're a lost cause" Mickey said for her, Mandy's whole face broke at that moment, no matter what, she'd never be able to better their family. They were interrupted by the doorbell and the pizzaman walking into the house after Mickey shouted that the door was open. The man put the pizzas on the dining table before standing awkwardly for exactly nine seconds. "Is this asshole waiting for a tip ? You were late that means goodbye. Holy fuck" he said, pushing the guy out and slamming the door before the four of them sat around the table. "I've finally got a job now" Mandy said to no one in particular as Missy smiled. "Don't get too excited kid, it's squirrels and waffles. Squirrels and fucking waffles" Mickey said as Missy looked at him confused. "What does squirrels have to with waffles ?" Missy asked as he stood up. "Thank you. Thank you. See. Mandy. Nothing to do with waffles" he shouted before sitting back down, he just wanted to prove a point.
"How old are you ?" Svetlana asked after a while of silence. One of her hands was stroking Missy's cheek the the other was holding a clump of her hair. "Fourteen" she said awkwardly as the woman stopped touching her so she could take a slice of pizza. "You're a bit old but you have good hair and skin. I worked the corner at twelve but I can teach what I know, I have company coming over, they help ?" she said as Mandy's jaw dropped and she was kicking Mickey as hard as she could under the table. "Woah woah woah woah. Nobody's teaching anyone anything about corners especially Russians hand-whores to my little sister" he shouted disgusted as Svetlana rolled her eyes. "That's men for you, they think they have a say in everything. We'll teach you anyway, you might want to put it to use in the future" she said while winking as Mandy quickly told Missy it was time to go to bed.
For the last two and a half year's Missy wore the necklace that Carl was supposed to give to Bonnie around her neck. She watched their relationship from start to finish, she was the one who had to pick up the pieces. She was beyond jealous but couldn't help but be happy that he was happy. She sometimes compared herself to Bonnie because while he didn't talk about her, she knew the blonde was his dream girl. She knew he was upset afterwords but she couldn't help but feel special that she got the trinket in the end.
"Pretty necklace. Boyfriend give you that ?" Mandy joked as her sister shook her head. "A friend" she answered as her sister smiled. They were interrupted by the door being slammed, a person shouting in Russian and Mickey shouting back that he couldn't understand her. The person then smashed a plate which caused him to shout. "Listen bitch. Smash one more fucking plate and I'll smash your fucking head on the counter", he'd never actually do it, she knew that, but the threat was still scary. "I better get out there. You're a good kid Miss" Mandy said before pressing a kiss on Missys forehead and letting her fall asleep
At 12pm sharp, the door was being pounded on so Mandy answered it, afraid. However, standing infront of her were Kev, V, Fiona, Carl and Ian. "It's okay. They're here" Kev said thinking he was whispering but he really wasn't. He was too relieved to keep his voice down. "What did you think ? Me and Mickey stole Missy and left the country" Mandy asked offended. "Well you made it sound so casual" Kev begun as she looked at Ian. "Really ?" she shouted. "Tried to stop them" Ian said but before she could answer, V chimed in. "You really can't blame us. We were worried" she said while smiling. "We've been seeing her for the past 6 years" Mandy shouted as Mickey came out. "Can you guys keep it down,I have a hangover and a house full of crackwhores" Mickey said while rubbing his eyes but Mandy swatted him to show her wasn't helping however he was too hungover. "Um. Ow" he shouted while looking at her confused.
"Can we just have our daughter please ?" Kev asked as Mickey looked up confused. "Your daughter ? We don't have any of them" he said as Fiona told him they meant Missy. "Oh she's not your daughter." He said as Svetlana came out holding hands with Missy. She wore blue booty shorts, a white see-through crop top, hooker heels and her once natural face was caked in heavy makeup. She looked about twenty-five. "Show then what we showed you" she said while tapping Missy's shoulder and the girl nodded. She leaned against the doorframe and bit her lower lip. "Hey there" she said in a low voice. "You like" Svetlana said while nodding. "Hell yeah" Carl said while nodding. "Carl if I look down and see you with a fucking boner I'll rip your dick off. Keep that tongue in your head" V said as Carl just smirked.
"She's a strong woman ready to work corner. Provide for you two" Svetlana said as Fiona's jaw dropped. "What" she said shocked. "How much ?" Carl said as Ian swatted him. "She's a baby" Kev practically shouted. "Get your stuff sweetheart we're leaving" V said as the girl shook her head. "You two let her be sexualised like that ? You're both just children yourself. Move" Veronica said while walking in and grabbing Missy's stuff before walking out.
"You can't just take her" Mandy shouted after them. "She'll be living here before you know it" Mickey said after her. "We're going to get you home to a nice warm bath. You're not made for their world Miss. Kev has work and V has to go get her mom so you'll be with us for a while" Fiona said as she led the girl back to the Gallagher house
