The buzz of my alarm sounded in my ears and I woke to the sun in my eyes. 7.00, time to get ready for my first day of school.
I have no curtains yet since we just moved here from Canada, so I sit at my window and stare outside. Just normal things like trees and houses... wait, what is that!?
Someone is looking at me. Behind an oak tree, I see a guy, wearing black clothes. He quickly puts his binoculars down and dodges behind a bush nearby.
He seems familiar, and a cold rush of nerves plunges through my body. I brush away the thought and go downstairs to eat.
This year is going to be good I hope, unlike last year. I fiddle with the strap on my bag and mum hands me an apple.
"Don't be nervous sweetheart" she says, but I can not help but feel un certain. Especially after seeing the boy this morning. I know I have seen him somewhere. But that is impossible in a new country, isn't it??
I stand and wave goodbye to mum, I have a bus to catch and being late on the first day wouldn't be too good.
I step outside and the bus arrives. I race over to it and jump on, taking a small glance around. There was no boy insight...
