After spending some quality time with misha, sanyukta went to kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone when she felt someone presence behind her. She turned around only to find the devil himself. She shook her head and again started concentrating on her work. Randhir went towards her and sat on the slap. He kept looking at her face whereas she was busy in chopping the vegetables ignoring his presence completely.
Randhir : so already moved in from me?
Sanyukta looked at him confusingly but then again decided to concentrate on her work.
Randhir: come-on sanyukta we are husband and wife.. Only if it is for name sake (he said raising his hands in the air after getting a hard glare from her) and husband and wife share everything with each other. Then why did you hide something this big from me.
Sanyukta ( stirring the vegetables) : listen Mr. Shekhawat first thing I don't know what you are talking about and second thing even if there is something I don't feel the need to let you know anything. We may be sharing the tittle of husband-wife but as you said it is only for name sake...but remember one thing I hate you from the depth of my heart and it is better for both of us that you stay away from me.
Randhir (looking down) : time moves so fast right. There was a time when you never used to get tired of saying I love you to me and now there is a time when you hate me and have already found someone to replace me.
He faced up only to find sanyukta looking at him emotionless but with little confusion in her eyes.
Randhir(chuckles dryly) : what did you thought that I will never come to know that your papa is thinking to get you... Married with that man...what was his name.. Yeah Arnav... Nice choice
Sanyukta turned her head towards him and was about to argue back when her throat went dry seeing moisture in his eyes. The moment he realised her gaze on him, he quickly got down of the slap and cleared his throat.
Randhir: its good! Finally you will be out of this house and everything will get back to normal. After all with you in this house, even this house feel like some down market chawl.
Saying this he went away leaving a perplexed sanyukta. It was evening time and shekhawats have invited. Misha's in-laws for the dinner at their place.
Sanyukta took the bowl of kadhai paneer and kept it on the dinning table where everyone was enjoing their dinner and took a seat beside her Randhir.
Mayank: this daal fry is so yum. I just want to kiss the hands of the person who made it.
Misha (giggling) : then you should kiss sanyu hands because she is the one who cooked it.
Mayank (looking towards sanyukta) : well I don't mind
Randhir stopped eating and looked at mayank who was passing a smile towards sanyukta. Sanyukta passed a small smile towards mayank and looked down towards her plate.
Mayank (looking towards his mom) : mom I was wandering we people can go out and have some ice cream and uncle only if you don't mind may I can take misha with me.
Harsh: offcourse beta.. You kids go and enjoy yourself.
Party : I am sorry jiju but me and arpita won't be able to make up, actually I have an early morning plus arpita is not well. She will be needing me besides her. So I hope you understand.
Mayank nodded his head in an understanding manner whereas he, misha and randhir- sanyukta made their ways towards his car. Randhir who was seating on the passenger seat looked towards mayank who was on the driving seat and saw him adjusting the mirror. He looked back at misha and sanyukta who was giggling about something lost in their own world.
Mayank (driving) : so Randhir bhaiya how many years you both have been married.
Randhir : around two
Mayank : oh so I heard from misha once that you both studied in same college and even worked in same office so I guess it is a love one.
Randhir : yes
Sanyukta : no
They said it together. Randhir turned back at her giving birth to their eye lock. Mayank cleared her throat bring them back.
Randhir: actually it is true that we both studied in same college and she worked as financial manager too in our office. But it was not a complete love marriage as sanyukta used to have a huge crush on me since college days. You know she even proposed me when we both were in college but at that time I wasn't much interested in her but look at her good luck my dad himself fixed my marriage with her. Right baby? ( he smirked at her whereas she rolls her eyes)
Mayank: wow that's interesting! With this we are here at the ice cream store. Come on guys let's hope on!
They all get themselves their interested flavor ice creams and started enjoying it.
Mayank (licking his spoon): sanyukta I must say you have excellent cooking skills.
Sanyukta: thank you mayank and I cook fine ( she chuckles)
Mayank: sanyukta I am serious you are just so good in cooking and at that moment I actually wanted to kiss your hands but well it not too late. Let me praise you in my style.
Saying this he dipped his spoon in the ice cream cup and put it in front of her mouth. Randhir kind of looked shocked whereas sanyukta looked at him embarrassingly.
Sanyukta: no it is fine. I am already having mine.
Misha: sanyu open your mouth. Look he is feeding you with so much love.
Before mayank could put his spoon in her mouth, a hand slightly pushed his, causing his spoon to fall down on floor. He looked up only to see Randhir feeding sanyukta with his spoon.
Randhir: oops sorry mayank! It wasn't intentional but I too wanted to praise my wife so thought of feeding mine with you but accidently my hand brushed off your spoon. I am so sorry dude.
Mayank faked a smile whereas sanyukta looked down still registering the happening events around her. Misha shook her head and again got busied in her ice cream. Sanyukta wiped her lips with the napkin when her phone ran which was kept on the bonnet of the car. She looked at the screen to see arnav calling written on it and unintentionally her eyes met with Randhir who was too looking at the phone. She excused herself and took the phone.
Randhir kept looking at her back whereas mayank and misha got busied in their romance. Randhir tightened his fists when he saw her giggling on something said by arnav. He looked at his watch and it was already past ten minutes. He marched towards her and snatched the phone from her hand and switched off the phone.
Sanyukta : what the hell is this? How dare you snatch my phone when I was on a call?
Randhir (gritting his teeth) : listen to me very carefully sanyukta you can talk to bloody anybody and I don't give fuck about it but now this is related to my sister. It was already ten minutes since you were stick with your so called daddy boyfriend. I don't want mayank to have a thought that's misha's bhabhi (sister-in-law) is having some extra-marital affair. (stuffing the phone back in her hand) : so ask your so called daddy boyfriend to have some patience and let my sister get married peacefully once then romance wherever and whenever you both want.
Saying this he walked away furiously leaving a bewildered sanyukta alone with a switched off in her hands.
Sanyukta : why is he behaving so bipolar?
