(Demi's POV)
She stubbled backwards falling to her knees coving her face with her hands.
I didn't know what to do. so I just naturally fell down next to her embracing her in a tight hug.
She instantly wrapped her arms round me which made me smile. fuckin hell I missed her.
"I'm so sorry" I whispered in her ear "I'm so sorry"
She didn't say anything. and there wasn't any need. she just tightened her grip round me like I would just get up and leave any second.
"I'm never gunner leave you, I'm so sorry"
She nested her face into my neck and closed her eyes. I pecked her shoulder and stood up, carrying her because I don't know about her but I found it really uncomfortable on the the floor!
she had her legs wrapped round my waist and her arms gripped tightly round my neck. I shuffled slowly into the living room, the smell of alcohol hitting me smack in the face. That made me frown. I sighed heavily into her shoulder. I made her do this. I turned my attention to Maddie who gave me a weak smile
"I think she's asleep" she whispered
A small smile crept across my lips as I heard her small snores which I've missed for weeks.
"I'll take her to bed" I whispered back
I gradually made my way to the stairs and climbed up them. listening happily to the light snores that filled my ears. I can't believe she just fell asleep like that. she must have missed sleep for days. I brought her to her bedroom and laid her down wrapping herself under the covers. as I turned to leave I heard shuffling.
"Demi" I head her mumble
"Please don't leave me again"
I smiled and happily crawled into the covers next to her. to be honest I felt a bit awkward. I mean. it's been so long. how do I even know she want me to hold her while she sleeps? or play with her hair? for all I know she could be angry as fuck with me. I could see why she would be. I can't believe I've done this to her. and it honestly breaks me. But for all I know she might never what to see me again. She might-
"Your over thinking" she giggled
"Hold me?" she questioned
I smiled
I shuffled around getting comfy. letting her lay her head on my chest.
We really needed to talk, but I could tell she was shattered so I guess could wait till the morning.
"I love you Demi"
Wow. if I could show you a picture of my grin right now I would look exactly like the Cheshire Cat!
