Once I make it to the park, the first person I spot is Finn waving at me.
“Hey mills!” he shouts.
“Hi!” I smile whilst walking over.
“did you ever find out what they were talking about?” He asks.
“No. Why the heck did they freak out when we said something?” I ask.
“I don't know. Maybe they thou-”
“FINN!!!! MILLIE!!!!” I hear Sadie shout. I turn around and Sadie and the others are all looking at us, smirking.
“Why are you losers smirking?” Finn asks.
“No reason.” Caleb says.
“Suspicious.” I say.
“So what do you guys wanna do?” sophia asks.
“Wanna go get milkshakes?” gaten asks.
“that sounds frickin bomb.” Noah says. I let a small laugh escape my lips, but I think only Finn heard it because he laughed too. The others just confused.
We all agree to get milkshakes and start walking towards the shop. It's about 2 miles away. About ¾ of a mile in, I start to get a bit tired.
“Hey guys. I'm gonna call an uber. I'm getting really out of breath…” I say.
“I'm gonna come!” sophia says. “I don't want you to be alone. That'd be so sad.”
“ok.” I laugh. “anyone else wanna come?”
“me!” Sadie says.
“bring me along.” Noah says
“why not?” Finn asks.
“Ok how bout I just get us an uber for 8.” I offer.
“is that even a thing?” Sadie asks.
“Yeah. Probably not….” I reply. We sit there for a few minutes in silence until Finn approaches me.
“Can I help you?” I ask. Suddenly his arms go under my legs and behind my back, and I'm being carried bridal style.
“Ahhh finn!!!” I laugh.
“Well we can't exactly get an uber for 8 so this is how we are getting there.” he says, beginning to walk.
“but Finn we still have like a mile left.” I say.
“Yeah and I'm a weak dude so I need some working out.” he laughs.
“whatever.” I jokingly roll my eyes.

“Finn you can put me down. I'm fine now.” I smile.
“okay.” he says, placing me on my feet.
He walks up to the rest of the group and sophia and Sadie come back to walk with me.
“MILLIE GOT GAME!” Lilia whisper shouts as she laughs.
“dude that was adorable.” Sadie whispers. I furrowed my eyebrows.
“are you really this oblivious? He literally carried you bridal style for like a mile!” sophia whispers.
“Yes because when a girl has cancer and it leads her to be out of breath, a guy carrying her and being nice is really flirting.” I roll my eyes.
“Millie, he was totally trying something.” Sadie says. Sophia nods in agreement.
“Yeah but you said he isn't looking for a relationship and frankly I'm not either.” I say.
“dude I was just saying that. He's totally into you.” Sadie replies.
“You're just in denial that a guy might have an interest in you. You don't want it to happen so you're in denial.” Sophia adds.
Could Finn maybe like me? No he's literally just my best friend.
“Guys we are just best friends so calm down.” I laugh. They roll their eyes and we catch up to the rest of the group.
A few minutes later we get to the milkshake shop. It's called “Ruby’s Hand Spun Shakes.”

“Truth.” Sadie says, taking a sip of her milkshake.
“if you had to date one of the guys at this table, who would it be?” gaten asks.
She takes a minute to look over everyone and then speaks up. “Caleb.” she blushes causing Caleb to blush.
“Awwwww my cadie heart!” Lilia giggles.
“That literally means nothing Lilia.” Sadie laughs, along with Caleb.
“Ok ummmm….. Finn!” Sadie says.
“what?”
“truth or dare!?” She demands.
“uhhh truth?” He says.
“Ok. If you had to date one of the girls at the table, who would it be?” Sadie taunts. I see what you're doing Sadie. No. Don't even try.
“Okay, to who I'm about to say… please don't take this weirdly because it's literally for the game. And to the others who I don't say, dont be offended because it's literally a game. Like if I had to and I just want-”
“SPIT IT OUT!” Noah shouts. “I NEED THE TEA SPILLED!”
“Sophia.” Finn replies.

P.S. I'm not quite sure what happened with lilias character but I made her a really weird character but I kinda love it like she's a frickin mood😂
