chapter eighteen: if i could do it all again, i know i'd go back to you
allison's pov
ethan dropped me off at 3 am since we were too busy playing in the water and talking. i honestly missed every one of us hanging out. i walk inside my house and kick my shoes off. i check my phone and i see a text from grayson.
grayson: i miss you already princess
i felt butterflies swarming around my stomach and i felt myself blushing.
me: i miss you too gray... so much
i sent it and placed my phone in its charging station. i went to take a shower and just stood there in the water. i started smiling and kept thinking about grayson.
i don't know but he's been in my mind lately... what are we? i don't want to be friends with benefits... but i also can't force him to get into another relationship. i got out and i started to get ready for bed. i heard knocking in my window and i ignored it.
the knocking started again and i went to see who was throwing rocks at my window, cliche right? i looked and i saw grayson there. i smiled and ran downstairs and opened the door for him. "hey babe", he said and smiled.
that damned, contagious smile.
i smiled back and dragged him to my room.
i laid on my bed and i placed my laptop on my desk. "well, i'm back in your room again", he said and i laughed. he laid next to me and i felt his eyes stare directly at me. "what?", i asked. "you're beautiful, ally", he said. i smiled and started to blush. i grabbed the sheets and wrapped it around us. "gray, you're in jeans. don't you feel uncomfortable?", i asked him. "nah, i'm used to this babe", he said. i gave him a small smile and he smiled back.
i tied my hair in a high messy ponytail and gray just stares at me. "you're gonna sleep?", he asked and i nodded. "okay babe", he said and i smiled sleepily. soon, sleep took over me.
the next day
i woke up with arms around my waist. i look and i see grayson sleeping. i peck his cheek and i try to get out of his grip. "noooo, baby come back", he said. "we have to get ready babe", i said.
i wore my favorite outfit and grabbed my sidebag and started stuffing my work in there. i felt grayson's arms snake around my waist and i immediately smile. "you know i love you right?", he said. "i know baby", i told him and kissed him. grayson's phone started ringing and he went to pick it up.
"hello? you never said you were gonna come and pick us up... ethan i swear you're a fucking idiot", he said and i couldn't help but laugh. "baby, it's fine. i'm ready anyways", i told him and he smiled and kissed my cheek. i smiled and went downstairs. i see ethan's car and i smile so wide and run towards it. "hey, e. where's brit and cynthia?", i asked. "we're gonna go get them right now. where's gray?", he asked. "you see, he's being a slow ass", i said and he stifled a laugh. "well, if he's not ready in ten minutes, we're leaving him", he said and i agreed.
"gray hurry the fuck up!", i yelled out. he started running down the stairs and he ran inside ethan's car. "jesus fuck, gray. do you need a ride that bad?", he asked and i laughed. "yes i fucking do, asshat", he said and we laughed. we got in the car and went to pick up cynthia and brittany.
*skip car ride*
we picked up cynthia and brittany from their house and arrived at school. i felt a bunch of eyes on me and grayson. "don't worry about them, baby", he said, which sent butterflies to my stomach. i hear heels clicking and i see katherine coming towards us. "you're with her emo ass? you downgraded so hard gray bae", she said. "no actually, i fucking upgraded", he said.
brittany's pov (a/n: play i won't for this little scene)
i see katherine arguing with ally, and i know for sure this is not going to end well. "hey, get the fuck away from them", i yelled at her. "or what? you're gonna threaten me by trying to-", i cut her off by punching her straight in the mouth. "don't think my short ass won't do it", i told her. "you did not just hit me", she squealed. "oh but i did princess. your plastic ass was asking for it", i said and walked away.
i went to class and ethan followed me. "hey, e", i said and smiled a little. "you know, that was pretty hot to see that side of you, i have to admit", he said and smiled. i turned red and started to get shy. no no no, this bitch cannot have feelings, we all remember the last time i gained feelings, they fucked me over and started dating another girl a day after we broke up.
i smiled at him and took my things out for class. "okay class. first, we're gonna assign partners for this project, which by the way, is half of your grade. so alyssa and brandon, grace and brian, ethan and brittany", the teacher said. i didn't mind as long as my feelings don't get in the way. i look at ethan and he smiles at me. i never noticed how hazel his eyes were. they were the most beautiful eyes i have ever seen in my life. "oh, i'm sorry for interrupting, but you have a new student", the principal said. "come in, miss ramirez", mr. jones said and a girl with gray hair came in and stood in front of us.
"hi, i'm veaney and i just want to sit down", she said. "hey, come sit with us", ethan said and she came and sat next to me and ethan. "hey, thanks. this one girl named katherine came up to me and told me to avoid you guys. but all i've been trying to do was avoid her plastic barbie ass", she said and we laughed. looks like we found a new member of our little group.
grayson's pov
i was in band class and honestly i had no talent whatsoever, so i just started writing.
I gotta find that girl...
