Phone call
After the making fun of me dinner I went directly to my room. When my feet touched the carpeted floor, my eyes landed over the human sized teddy bear. I thought to place it beside me on my bed but hold on it eats up almost the entire space so I decided to stow it instead on the long well foamed chair beside my bed.
I walked to my bathroom and freshen up. I slipped in my body a new pair of clean clothes and get inside to my fluffy comforter.
I grabbed my phone and there's nothing in there from kaia, so even I received a lot without her message my phone is literally empty.
She didn't call me nor even text me. I know she saw the happenings back at school and I didn't tell her that today was our anniversary but afraid to admit it I freaking forgot the day I said yes to Aidan to be his girlfriend.
so nice of me!
Maybe she's mad?, after going out from the bus I didn't notice her any longer nor give her a glance even once, so for sure she's mad.
I sighed and dialled her phone number.
- KAIA -
After what I've witnessed back at school I just realized how dumb of me to fell for someone who belongs to such a sweet and most lovable guy alive.
We didn't even had a proper goodbye before we separate, but wait how does I came up of the thinking to have our goodbyes if even looking at me was impossible for her to do during that time?
She was overwhelmed with Aidan singing, her brothers being present there and her mom as well, even her bestfriends are shippers of their relationships. So where do I place myself if the cup was filled up with water already??
I'm growling with all the thoughts when my phone rang. I lazily snatched it from the table beside my bed. I answered it without looking on the screen leaving me no clue who the hell have the guts to interrupt me from making conclusions.
K - Hello?
S - Kaia...
hearing her voice makes my body totally jumped on the bed and slides my phone off my hand onto the floor.
'' thud!!!''
I quickly picked it and brought it up again in my ears.
S - kaia? what's that sound? are you okay??? Kaia, Kaia!
'' Goodness kaia! '' I told to myself.
I clear my throat first and started to speak, trying but failed to ignore my now pounding heart.
K - I..I'm fine it was just my phone dropped onto the floor, i...i...it's slimy!!
I slapped my forehead with the palm of my hand for the wrong choice and use of word!
I mean how come my phone becomes slimy in the first place? maybe it's acceptable if it was covered up by an eeww disgusting molds or whatever that yucky green is! geez.

I am laughing inside with the word slimy, she needs to think a little bit more than the lame word slimy.
S - Slimy huh?
I chuckled and there's only silence on the other side. I know that she knows that I got her there.
S - you're thinking of me right?
K - N....No!!!
She fast answered yet stuttering...my lips curled up and my heart swells more knowing that she does thinking of me. So I teased her a little bit more.
S - sure you're not thinking of me?, hmmm that's makes me sad, so who's the lucky person then?
I asked, smiling like a lunatic and biting my lower lip.
K - I'm not thinking of any specific person or things or whatever okay?
she said on her defense thus making me more eager to make this girl blush. I know she is just how she sounds like.
S - okay then so I think I'll hang this up...
K - w....wait! why?
S - because you're thinking of someone while me over here just thinking of you..
making my voice sweet.
K - Fine, yes!!!!
S - yes?....yes what?
K- you know!
S- what? I didn't know tell me or I 'm seriously hang this up now

S - okaY I'll count on 3

She's seriously counting darn this girl.
K - fine I'm thinking of you and all the happenings today and I'm thinking also if it's right for us --
S - oopps! hold it there please. I know in the first place that you're thinking of me and thank you for finally telling the truth --
K - bu--
S - Kaia stop, don't continue it please! I'm sorry I know how you feel with all the Aidan thing and I know I should've told you that today was our anniversary but I forgot it....making me also you know so dumb of me. I am just so happy with you and even the most important date slipped to my mind.
ahmm was okay, past tense!
K - Skylar........ ahm... I think,
S - don't think of anything love
and the word love was taken myself aback!
K - love? was that for me?

she asked, what would I say??? s*** this mouth really...
S - ahm....
what would I say???
K - love?
S - was it awkward for me to call you that?
K - no! it just happened that you tell it ahead of me.
S - great then but please don't overthink about any matter connected to Aidan. It's hard I know just.......please?
K - okay I won't love!
she giggles and so do I over our cheesiness making me roll over my bed.
S - Kaia?
K - hmmm Skylar Aevery
S - ------------- nothing forget it.
K - what? tell me...
S - ohh it's nothing
K - I know you're biting your lower lip now so spit it out.
How come she knows it? nevertheless I slowly freed my poor lower lip from my teeth.
K - I love you
she murmured.
I feel my eyes bulged out and my fast pounding heart doubled it's size after hearing the word I wanted to say to her.
K - did I got it right?
S - h...how did you --
K - because I wanted to tell that words to you as well..
S - well...ahm I'm speechless I.....o.. our brains were functionally connected.
K - yeah right!
And we talked over the phone of everything under the sun laughing and giggling non stop until we both noticed that Mr Sunshine is already saying goodmorning to us.
S - I think we need to end this call Kaia
I told her then a yawn follow afterwards. She chuckles .
K - I think so, goodn-- but how can we end this without saying goodnight cause literally it's morning already.
Oh right she's really witty! I heard she softly laughed after I let a soft giggle out from my lips and just as I wanted to stay awake my eyelids are involuntarily drooping closed.
S - then let's just say sleep tight
K - okay, sleeptight love
S - Sleep tight and dream of me my love.
K - I will, meet me there okay?
we both chuckled and find ourselves continue talking for another more minute until she sigh followed by a soundly yawn surrendering first.
K - let's go to dreamland now, can we?
S - hmmmm....sleep tight miss not stranger
then another soft yet sweet giggle from the other side was made.
K- sleep tight miss not stranger
S - I love you Kaia Sage
K - I love you too Skylar Aevery!
and we hung up welcoming ourselves to the dreamland.
