BLUE
Today was the twins' birthday, and I was dreading going over to the party. Millan and Kelly were throwing them a party in the backyard. They didn't want to go all out like we did, which was understandable.
I knew that I would run into Deuce sooner or later, so why not do it today? Just to get it over with, ya know?
I've been staying in this hotel for quite some time. Maybe it's just time for me to get me an apartment. I did enjoy the hotel view, but I was scared to be alone most nights.
Of course, the girls offered their guest rooms. But I just don't know. Still too close to him.
I got dressed in something comfortable, with jeans and a white nice fitted shirt, with silver sandals. I put my hair in a low ponytail and put on my simple basic jewelry. I wasn't gonna stress today.
I walked in front of my mirror, looking at myself. I think I picked up a little weight. I guess depression will do that to you. Even my boobs seemed huge.
After sitting around for a while, I got my things and to the party I went.
ZEL & MIL'S HOUSE
"Happy Birthday Booney." I hugged him tightly.
"Thank u sis. I love you."
"I love you. Happy Birthday Buzzard." I hugged Zel.
"Thanks Doof. Love you."
"Love you." I smiled at them both, and placed their gifts on the table.
"Blue, this is a pool party. Where is your bathing suit?" Mil asked.
"Um, I think I'm going to skip that part." I shrugged.
"Nope. I got one upstairs for you. Go change. Everybody else is outside."
"Fine."
15 MINUTES LATER
After finally concluding that I won't be able to dodge Deuce, I changed and made my way downstairs. I went outside with everyone, and locked eyes with him. He made my stomach flutter, and I didn't know why. He had hurt me.
I broke contact and helped the girls with everything they needed me to do. Deuce and Big Bird were grilling, and all the others stood around.
After everything had calm down, most people stood around socializing. Milly and Zel were in the pool in their own world. Boon was trying to find his doughnut float, while Kelly was in the house.
I wasn't really down for the pool, so I never took my shorts off. I just stuck my feet in, and looked around.
"Mind if I sit?"
"Nope." I said lowly, rocking my feet back and forth.
DEUCE
"How are u?"
"Fine."
"Coo. I miss u."
"Coo." She copied me.
"U look beautiful."
"Thank you Deuce."
"I'm sorry Blue. Fa everything."
"We don't have to talk about it." I mumbled.
"I want too. I want u to kno the truth."
"The truth? Go ahead then."
"Blue. I didn't cheat on u. I love u."
"mm."
"I acted the way I did before', because I was havin' nightmares." I looked down because I was embarrassed.
"Nightmares? This isn't a game Deuce." She was about to get up until I put my hand out fa her to stay.
"I had nightmares that my momma was hurtin me. They felt so real Blue, and they honestly scared me. Plus, I been paranoid. I feel like people lookin' at us. That they gone hurt us all. More importantly, they gone hurt you."
"Why couldn't you tell me that before you cheated?"
"Blue, I ain cheat ok? Let me finish first."
"Go." She threw her hands up.
"I didn't tell u cause I wanted to deal wit it on my own. I was embarrassed. I just couldn't tell u that."
"Deuce you can tell me anything. Didn't you understand that? I would've helped you."
"Yea, I kno that now. I should've came to u. And, I'm sorry."
"Yeah. Okay." She shook her head.
"They night we got to fussin', I had went to the bar. I got drunk a little, but felt like I needed somethin more. I went to the strip club, and that's where I found Cherry. I won't lookin' fa her at all."
"....."
"I got mo' drinks, and I ended up leavin' wit Cherry. This is all the truth Blue, just listen..
I made my way to ha damn fridge, and grabbed me a bottle of wata'. Sheen have no Ciroc, no vodka, no henny, nun. Just wata'. I kno ha ass ain' on no damn diet.
"Deuceeeee. Where are you?" I heard ha voice, as I came out da kitchen.
"Oh, you don't need that. Come sit down." She grabbed my wata', and den pushed me on da couch.
"Yo, Cherry."
"Sshhh. I know you missed this."
"Che-"
"Don't talk. Don't you want me?"
"I-"
"Deuce, shhhhh."
"No bruh. I can't do dis shit." I got up.
"Wait Deuce. Stay."
"Na, I'm gud B. I'm leavin'."
I got my shit, and left out. I drove around da streets til I got tired. I got til the end on my road, and parked my car. I just decided to sleep here'. I guess no matta wat, I couldn't hurt Blue.
"That's all Blue. nothing happened."
BLUE
I listened to his story, and I could tell in his eyes that he told me the truth. It's just something I just knew that was real.
"Can u forgive me fa treatin' u that way? For even goin' out and not comin' to u? I even cried the day I fussed at u when u was in the theater room." He laughed.
I laughed a little, until I rushed getting up. I ran into the house, going into the bathroom. I throw almost everything up.
10 MINUTES LATER
"U gud?" Deuce asked me, while I walked in the room everyone was in.
"Yeah, what's going on?"
"The doin' gifts. U sure u alright?" He looked concerned.
"Yeah, I'm good. I think it was the cake." I scrunched up my face.
"U was shittin'?"
"Boy, shut up. I threw up."
"Thank u Blue Blue fa my Disney infinity characters."
"You're welcome Boon."
"Thanks fa the watch." Zel smiled at me.
"You're welcome Zel."
"Well, since we've did everybody else's gifts.. Boon I have a surprise for you and everyone else sorta." Kelly smiled.
All eyes were on her.
"Boon, open this." She handed him a bag.
He grabbed the bag, opening it, and pulling out the baby outfit.
"Bae, I can't wear dis. I'm too big." He looked confused.
"Not you bae. You're gonna be a daddy. I'm five months! I didn't even know!" She said with excitement.
"Fa reals????"
"Yesss."
Everybody was excited, and so happy for them. They received hugs from everybody, and it was just a good day for them.
"Aw, can I please throw the gender reveal?" I said excitedly.
"Of course!" Kelly said happily.
After the party died down, and everyone was mostly gone.. I helped them clean up. After that, it was time to part my ways with them again. If things were the same, we'd stay up all night and watch movies. I miss those days.
"Well, I'm gonna go." I waved to the twins and the girls.
"I can walk wit u out. I'm leavin too." Deuce grabbed the door for me.
We walked to my car.
"It's nice out here."
"Yea. Blue do you forgive me?"
"I do. But you did go with her though Deuce. Just give me a little more time."
"Can we start wit a date?"
"Maybe, Deuce. Maybe."
I saw him smile a little, and it made me smile.
"I love u Blue. Wit all of me."
"You sure?"
"Positive. I love u Blue. Be careful, aite?"
"I will."
He kissed my cheek, which lead to my lips. I pulled away, and he smiled. He kissed me on my forehead, and it felt like the old us again.
"Goodnight Blue."
"Goodnight stinky." I smiled.
