Colin's POV
"Colin, I swear she's fine. She's probably just really not feeling well, I'll text her to call you."
I hang up on Leah. 40 fuckin missed calls and even more texts and Vera still hasn't answered. Even if she's not feeling well she would fuckin shoot me a text. I pull on my cleats, ready for another day of training. My phone vibrates on the bench as I'm lacing up. It's Becca.
"Hello?"
"Colin? She found it," her voice is tense, exasperated.
"Found what? Who?"
"Vera found the sex tape. She watched it, and she's packed all of her stuff to leave the stadium. She's pretty upset."
I drop my phone as Becca's talking, the world unraveling beneath my feet.
