After I read it, I swear I stopped breathing for seconds, and my tears started to slide down my face at the same time. Now, everybody's up. Everyone's crying, except for Jisung who just stood there shocked and motionless. I heard Minho hyung on the phone calling an ambulance, hoping that he's still alive, and the rest are panicking. I don't even know what to do anymore. I can't think straight, and I feel like my feet were glued on the ground. There are only two things on my mind right now, and that is, who did this? Why did he/she do it?
My eyes wandered around the dorm, but there's no knife to be seen. Does that mean that the killer still has it?

Those words echoed in my head. How am I supposed to know who did this? Chan hyung is a really nice person. He is kind-hearted, and he would always take care of the others first before himself. I know for sure that no one hates him – "YOU WANT TO PUNCH ME? GO AHEAD! PUNCH ME! HURT ME! KILL ME IF YOU NEED TO! I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!" I remembered Chan hyung shouted those words last night. I immediately looked at Changbin hyung's way. He's kneeling beside Chan hyung, both hands on his head, crying, and looked very sorry.
No. It can't be. Changbin hyung would never do that. They've been friends a long time ago, and even though Changbin hyung really wants to hurt Chan hyung that time, he would not do it. No one from Stray Kids would do this to Chan hyung. No one.
Wait, why am I even thinking about that text message? I don't even know who sent it. It might be one of those pranks and scams, so I should just ignore it.
We arrived at the hospital, and Chan hyung was rushed to the emergency room. My heart ached, just by thinking that Chan hyung is there, fighting for his life. We should have protected him just like how he protected us.
For hours, we waited there. No one left. No one even cared about eating. We were quiet, and all you could hear were nervous sighs. "Hyung," Felix sat between me and Changbin hyung. "I'm scared." Playing with his fingers anxiously, he said.
It took Changbin hyung a couple more seconds to reply. "Me too."
"This is my fault."
"Stop it. Don't blame yourself for something you didn't do."
"How sure are you?" Those words gave me creeps. With Felix's deep voice and serious tone, it sounds like he's confessing something.
Then, my phone buzzed. After knowing who's it from, I felt horrified. It was from the unknown number. "Haven't figured it out yet?" I read. "I'll give you a clue then." Another message popped up, and I found myself waiting for the next message. "He's with you."
"who are you? stop messing with me!" I replied without hesitation. "i don't want to play games with you!"
"Find out who did it. If not, there will be consequences. Be careful. :)" After threatening, he's now telling me to be careful? What is this? "Pay attention."
I raised my head and saw Minho hyung, Jisung, and Seungmin seated in a row, all using their phones in contacting Chan hyung's relatives. No way. They would not. Minho hyung would always say that he's most thankful towards Chan hyung because he helped him a lot. Jisung has also been friends with Chan hyung a long time ago, and their bond is quite unbreakable. Lastly, Seungmin could not even dare to hold a knife, what more to kill a person using it?
Woojin hyung was standing near the emergency room door, waiting for any news. Woojin hyung is Chan hyung's best friend; he would definitely not do such a horrible thing to him. Does that leave us with three: Changbin hyung, Felix, and Jeongin? Changbin hyung and Chan hyung had an argument last night, Felix said himself that this is his fault, and Jeongin was the first one to see Chan hyung's body lying on the floor. Jeongin is my best friend, but no one knows what happened before he woke us up.
What the heck, Hyunjin? Do you seriously doubt your own teammates? Stop it, already. I told myself. I won't believe this unknown number. He's just playing with all of us. So, I typed a message and sent it to him. "i don't believe you."
We were still quiet when the doctor went out of the emergency room. We immediately stood and surrounded him, waiting for what he's about to say. I can tell that we're all nervous.
"I'm sorry..." The moment we heard those words, we lose it. Tears started to fall from my eyes again, and I felt Jeongin held on to me. Woojin hyung ran away crying, while Minho hyung was the only one strong enough to talk to the doctor. We're a mess when my phone buzzed once again. "I warned you."
"WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!! YOU KILLED HIM!!!" I texted; my fingers were typing so hard I think I could break it. "YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR THIS, YOU MURDERER!!!" Anger started to fill me up even more when I saw his reply.
"Is it really me? I told you, the real killer is with you. Or is it... you? You know that there will be consequences, yet you didn't believe me." I held the phone like I'm going to crush it. "Oh, and by the way, I'm sorry for your loss. Do you believe me now? Pay more attention. Be careful. :)"
"I DIDN'T KILL CHAN HYUNG!" I threw my phone in anger. Now, I can't stop crying. I was sobbing and that makes it hard for me to breathe.
"Hyunjin, w-what are you saying?" Jisung asked, with his face stained with tears, and eyes quite reddish.
"I didn't kill Chan hyung! I didn't do anything! I can't kill him. I – "
"H-Hey, come here. Shhh." Minho hyung hushed me and hugged me.
"Hyung, I didn't do anything. I didn't kill Chan hyung. He's lying, don't believe him. Chan hyung treated me as his own brother, and I can't do that to him, hyung...Hyung, I didn't do anything..."
"Shhh... I believe you, Hyunjin, you didn't kill Chan hyung. Why would you say that?" Minho hyung let go of me, and I faced him.
"H-Hyung, s-someone's been texting me, saying that one of us killed C-Chan hyung."
"One of you killed Chan?" Woojin hyung appeared behind us, looking at each of us disgustingly.
"N-No, hyung." I shook my head, denying that we didn't kill Chan hyung. "Someone's playing with us. He said that I should find who did this to C-Chan hyung, and if not, there will be consequences. Hyung, I don't want any of you to d-die, too, b-but I think we should not trust the unknown number."
"Because of what you said, I don't think I can trust anyone, right now."
"H-hyung..."We all called for him, but he left. Just like that.
