You look at him with a disgusted expression, "what the...."
You make a frown, clearly getting creeped out but then you start chuckling

"Then let me rewrite" he says as he gets closer to your frame, without your even realizing it

You knock on the apartment door twice and wait for your lover boy to open up.
"Oh god...." You squeak hugging him to death as soon as he opens the door, "happy birthday tae" you pull yourself a bit in order to grab hold of his cheeks and consequently kiss him before nestling your head in his chest
"Aww.." he cooes as he pulls you inside and shuts the door behind you, "where's my present?" He says jokingly
"Oh oh present!" You pull out a frame from your back pack, which was neatly covered with paper
"Here you go birthday boy" you chuckle as you handle him his birthday gift
A bright smile plasters his face as he quickly unpacks it only to find a portrait of him painted aesthetically on the canvas
"This. Is amazing" he whispers
He puts the canvas by the table and immediately hugs you tightly, "you are an amazement jagi! I love you so much!"
"But...."he says while sighing
"But what?"
"I... I want something else and I hope you grant me that gift"
You frown as you get confused at his remark, you push him slightly in order to face him, "what is it?" You ask softly
"Your hand in marriage"
"Taehyung...."
"Come on! It's the only thing I can think of since the past few days...."
"Taehyung but...."
"But what? Don't you love me?"
"Oh god stop! Of course I love you silly! When do you want it!?!" You say laughing
Taehyung looks at you with utter astonishment as he picks you bridal style, "seriously?? I thought you'll just put up a drama and I'd have to work my ass out to make you agree!"
You chuckle as he spins you around in his embrace.

You breath in deeply, trying to calm down your nervousness.
"Eomma.... You know, how I uh..." You gulp trying fine words but your feelings were overwhelming you, making it hard for you to express it
"Say it y/n.... It's already midnight dear"
"Eomma.... It's just that I want to get married"
Your mother frowns at you, "we can discuss it tomorrow too"
"No. I want to know now...."
"Y/n..."
"Eomma please.... I really want to marry tae"
Your mother let's out a laugh, "that rat? You serious? You'll be doomed!"
You give your mother a look
"What's that look for? Look y/n.... It was only two days ago when your father showed me some really good boys and I bet you'll not say no to them once you see them"
"I can't believe you" you mutter
"Why don't you? Look, be grateful that I never spilled the beans about you dating that urchin or else you know your father's anger"
"I can't believe you still treat me this way!" You stand up, "can't you see how bottled up my life has always been because of you! I'm sorry but you never really gave me a chance to do anything of my will!"
Your mother looks at you with amusement
"I never enjoyed my life the way I wanted to why because 'y/n that's not good' 'y/n it's against our ethics'..... Where do all those ethics go when it comes to my brother? You allow him everything but me! He can date anyone he can but why not me? Why is love a mistake for me but not him?"
"Because you are younger than him"
"Wow so is being 26 is too young to make a decision as this?"
"How will you even survive with him? He barely earns for himself!"
"He's earning enough for two and I'll gladly accept my lifestyle if it's with him. Besides, thank you for educating me.... I have a job too if you forgot"
"Stop talking back! You are not marrying him and that's final."
"I'm sorry eomma.... but I've listened to you enough..."
