Everyone has unrealistic dreams, right? Well that's how it started for Peeta and Katniss, both were from Kentucky but different parts. Katniss always dreamed to become a singer and her father has always been the one to support her in getting somewhere with her singing. Peeta has always loved the idea of being apart of the acting industry, his parents noticed his talent when he'd put on skits with his brothers but didn't know if they wanted to let their little boy to be smothered with cameras and the kind of attention it can attract, although Peeta was their baby and they wanted him to succeed in what he dreams of doing.
Peeta actually got into an acting school which was the best one he could get into. His talent from acting had gotten better than it had ever been. Peeta would star in things here and there which his parents were alright with but as he got older he was casted more regularly and each time was a bigger role. After a few years acting, Peeta was one of the most well known and talented actors in Hollywood but even all that fame never changed him as a person which is what made him so desirable.
For Katniss it was much harder as her family were never that wealthy to pay for her to get a record label and not many people with record labels come to their hometown. So, Katniss would sing at festivals and other events she could until she finally got recognised by someone. Her father out of everyone was so proud of his little girl, she made the big move to Hollywood for her life to completely change forever.
The first time Peeta and Katniss met was on a red carpet event, Peeta was the main person casted, Katniss wrote and sang two songs that made it in the movie. After they've walked the red carpet, Peeta contemplates whether or not he should talk to her until he finally decides that he will
"Um, hi Katniss. I'm Peeta Mellark..." he shakily says making Katniss smile a little as she sips her champagne
"Hi Peeta, I guessed that was your name. This is the movie that you star in" she chuckles
"Oh yeah... uh sorry. I just get a bit nervous" he sheepishly admits
"Really? Aren't you an actor who talks to millions, seen by millions" Katniss replies
"Yeah... that's different, actors can still get nervous" he says
"Then why are you nervous right now?" Katniss asked, Peeta really didn't have what it took to tell her that he's a fan of hers
"Because... I can't, it's too embarrassing" he sighs
"Oh come on! Just tell me" she smiles and he does too
"Okay... I'm kind of a big fan of yours, since around when your first ever album came out. I got told that another person from Kentucky has made it, I found that we only lived about two hours away from each other back home. I listened to your music and immediately fell in love with it, you're voice is just astonishing" he explains, Katniss usually isn't good with the usual 'you look pretty' compliment and so she has no words to reply with at first
"Wow... thank you. I would've never thought that an actor like you would even pay a singer like me any attention" she admits honestly
"Well, believe it. I guess your voice just pulled me in" he smiles
"It might've. You know you're not too bad of an actor, I'm a fan of your movie Abandon. It was amazing" she compliments, truely meaning what she says
"That's a good thing to hear. Especially from you, I guess were both a fan of one another" he chuckles and Katniss does too
"It sure does seem that way doesn't it?"

"Trust me, you'll like him. He's funny, smart" Katniss' best friend Madge explains as they get themselves ready for a night out
"Madge... I don't want to be set up with a random guy" I groan, Madge is probably the only person I've met that I actually like in the 'famous' industry. I met Madge at a photo shoot for Calvin Klein and I defended her when another model just snapped at her for no reason
"Oh come on! Don't think of it as a set up. Think of it more as a... meeting" she replies, with a defeated sigh I agree with her. She rummages through my draws till she picks out an outfit for me to wear to this club that we're meeting her boyfriend Gale and the mystery guy that I'll be meeting for the first time.
When I've put on my outfit, I let Madge know to come in and when she does a smirk forms on her lips. I've seen that smirk, that smirk is when her plan is going how she wants it to but I just roll my eyes and let her do my make up. I wonder who this 'friend' of Madge's is because I really hate surprises and seeing as this has to do with my love life then I'm definitely not enjoying this surprise... at all.
Madge finally finishes what she's called 'her work of art' which I scowled at but she just ignored it and continued to praise my dulled up face. Instead of driving to the club ourselves, Madge hired her driver to take us there which I was alright with because no matter how much I hate this idea that Madge has, I'm really up for a few drinks.
After we enter the club we push through all the other people to find Gale and this other guy. When we finally find Gale a smile shows up on my lips when I see who the 'mystery guy' is, it's Peeta Mellark... the guy who I seem to not stop thinking about and might I say he's looking pretty attractive tonight...
"Hey, again" he smiles
"Wait you two know each other?" Madge asks
"Yeah! We met at the premier of his movie, that movie that I made songs for" I reply, Madge and Gale shrug then decide to go to start of their night with dancing, Peeta and I order our first round of drinks sitting in the booth
"You know... I regret not asking for your number that night" he admits taking a sip of his drink
"I was actually wishing you did but..." I reply with a shy smile
"Well, what if I asked for your number now. Would you give it to me?" He says, I tell him my number as he types it in his phone and then I get a ding from my phone, it's a message from Peeta
"Just checking that it was actually your number" he chuckles, we continue talking and drinking... a lot, to the point where we're dancing together and it's not even innocent dancing, I'm grinding on him, his hands stay on my ass almost the entire time while mine run through his hair, tugging at it from time to time
"I just want to take you right now" he growls in my ear and honestly it turns me on
"What are you waiting for?" I smirk and at this point we're practically stumbling out of the club, now forgetting all about our two friends who still remain but I'm not thinking about them because I'm going to have an eventful night and eventful it was.
6 Years Later
"Urgh! How much longer, Jesus!" I scream pushing as hard as I can, practically breaking Peeta's hand but being the husband he is, he doesn't say anything which is a wise decision because I would fucking rip his head off right now
"Not too long now, Katniss! Your baby is almost here!" The midwife encourages, the pushing continues and I'm in the worst pain. Peeta and I decided pretty early on in the pregnancy that we didn't want to know the gender till he or she is born but we agreed on the name Harlow River Mellark for our new additions name but I just want our baby out already...
"One more big push for us and your baby will be out" and I listen to my midwife so with every ounce of energy and strength I have left, I give the biggest push I can till we hear little cries
"It's a girl!" I hear them announce, baby Harlow is laid on my chest while Peeta cuts her umbilical cord, even covered with blood and goop, she's a beautiful baby... I'm very proud of Peeta and I by what we've created... this beautiful little human, I'm happy with how my life has turned out with my amazing husband and beautiful daughter.
