"Thank you..." I muttered avoiding his eyes but he lifts my chin giving me a serious look.
"What's wrong?" he asked gently wiping my tears away.
I shook my head. "I'm just happy. And what do you know, it's your birthday the day after tomorrow..." I smiled.
He nodded but his eyes fixated on me intently like he wasn't convinced that I was totally fine.
"Anong gusto mong gift?" I asked for him to stop thinking anything about my tears and it was a success when his eyes sparkled.
"I want you. I want us to be officially together, baby. And when we get back home. There's no more hiding and no more secrets..." he said as he captured my lips, giving me a feathery kiss.
