It has been years since Y/n and Monika Beilschmidt have known each other, however, it was their first Christmas together as a couple.
Dating a couple of months ago, she was quite the party planner and loved prepping things way early for the holiday, so as the two started dating, Y/n kept a special eye on something that her German girlfriend would like.
Every time the two went shopping, she couldn't really tell what Monika actually wanted, since she'd just let her do all the shopping.
The blonde was a sporty girl, but since all of her friends were coming over, Y/n knew they'd all get her some Nike's or Adidas merch, or anything sport-related.
It wouldn't be a gift if t wasn't special. That left her to come to her own devices. What was she gonna get her?
First instinct, she thought, "How about some cute decorations for her room?" But surprisingly, for someone that dressed so simple, Monika's room was stuffed with decorations. Still, she managed to keep it neat. Y/n wanted to give something she didn't get a chance to buy often, something special.
Then, a great idea popped into her mind.
Y/n had three weeks before Christmas, so she decided to get her some cute underwear! Of all the times Y/n did their laundry, Y/n didn't see a single bra that wasn't a sports bra, no did she notice any fancy undies.
That would end when Christmas came and Y/n was determined to fill that quota.
When her girlfriend was showering, she had to hurriedly check her bra size.
A challenge since she was stupidly fast at showering, which wasn't big of a surprise, considering she'd been in the army. Time was everything!
So with her collected information, she went out shopping at the mall by herself while Monika was training with her friends.
"Hey, babe?" She called out.
She turned to you, her striking blue eyes softening at the sight of Y/n. "Yes?"
"I need to go Christmas shopping for decorations!" She half-lied, not wanting to spoil the surprise.
"Ja, go ahead my Liebling*." She nodded.
Y/n kissed her cheek, before quickly getting into her car. The mall would be her first destination.

She walked into Victoria's Secret, and she blushed. What were you going to do? She had Monika's size written down, but who was she supposed to ask for help?
Oh, wait, the employees, duh!
A nice lady came up to her with a smile. "Do you need help?"
Nodding, Y/n handed her the paper with the size written on it and laughed nervously. "It's for uh, someone I care about, but I don't really know where I'd find her size. This is my first time here."
The lady nodded. "Understandable, let's see, oh! Lucky you, we've got tons of bras and underwear in this size! It'll be in the far corner, and if you buy a set, you'll get twenty percent off!"
Wow, what a bargain! Y/n beamed. Monika would certainly approve of this splurge.
She leans in and whispers. "So maybe you could get a pair yourself so and your girlfriend could match." Winking, she left to help another customer.
Y/n blushed vermillion red and walked over to the far corner the saleswoman talked about. Gasping at the sight of so many gorgeous bras and underwear, in so many gorgeous colors.
Y/n rummaged through until she found the perfect one. Red satin with black and yellow lace.
After grabbing three pairs of assorted colors she walked over to the counter and paid.
"Thank you for shopping at Victoria's Secret! Come back anytime!" The cashier chirped, as she handed her a rewards card.
"Thanks." She curtly nodded, before heading out.
Now she needed to buy her girl some nice, soft slippers, after realizing she didn't have any! Well, that wasn't going to be a problem anymore!
Running over to another store, she purchased a pair of fuzzy slides, and a nice vanilla/cherry perfume.
Deciding she was done shopping, she drove home, only to remember that she promised she'd buy the decorations.
"Dammit!" The h/c cussed, slamming her head on the steering wheel, letting out a loud honk.
She quickly made a turn to Dollar Tree and buy a ton of random streamers, balloons, and Christmas-themed decor, all in five minutes.
"Your total is $22.43." The cashier stated, watching as she frantically smacked money on the table.
"Keep the change!" She exclaimed, running out with the items. She was sure she'd left at least ten dollars in change, but there was no time to be Cash Money about anything.
Driving home quickly but safely, she made it on time.
Walking inside, her tall and blonde girlfriend sat on the floral love seat, reading a chapter book. She looked up and smiled. "Hello Y/n."
"Hey there Monika!" She held up the Dollar Tree bag, hiding the VS bag behind it. "I got the decoration, so I'll be in my room taking off the tags, ok?"
"Ja, sure, but let me help." She stood up, to which she sputtered out a loud "NO!"
She gave Y/n a confused look.
"I-I mean! It's just I need to work on the decoration... alone... and plus you're reading, I don't want to interrupt." Y/n lower your head. "I didn't mean to yell, I'm sorry."
Monika walked over and kissed the top of her head. "It's ok, my libeling. Go ahead."
Y/n looked up and pecks Monika's soft lips.
Luckily, Y/n managed to hide the VS gift inside her giant Pikachu plush- which had a secret zipper. Life went on as usual.
Monika and Y/n spent more time together, even going skiing a few times. Surprisingly, Monika wasn't too keen on skiing, but Y/n, an expert, helped.

It was the morning. Y/n opened her eyes, shaking from excitement.
Ecstatically, she thought, DECEMBER 25!!!
She woke up extra early, at five, which was before even Monika did.
Looking over her shoulder as she sat up, she admired the German's sleeping face. So calm, and peaceful. She kissed her cheek, and got out of the bed to place the presents, and eat breakfast.
Y/n was making cereal when she heard footsteps. A pair of toned arms wrap around her, and a chin rested on the top of her head.
"Guten Morgen*," The blue-eyed beauty yawned.
You laugh. "Guten Morgen, Monnie. Sleep well?"
"Ja," She hugged her tighter, but careful not to squish her.
Turning to see her girlfriend, Monika smiled. "Ready for the presents?"
Grinning, Y/n nodded excitedly. "Hells yeah!"
Monika laughs at her adorable behavior and watches as she skipped out of the kitchen, forgetting about breakfast.
Following behind, she holds her lover's bowl cereal and sees that Y/n's holding up a camo-designed box.
"This is for me, isn't it?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Yep! Open it! Open it!" Y/n urged, pushing the box up.
"Ok! Ok!" Mokia unwrapped the present, smiling at how giddy Y/n was.
At first, she pulled out a pair of black and fuzzy slides and the vanilla/strawberry perfume. "Wow," she breathed out. "You didn't have to buy all of this... Danke, Y/n."
Y/n's grin only expands. "There's more, Monnie."
"More?!" She looked back and saw some fabric peeking from the gift wrapping. "How much did you spend?" she murmured to herself, as she pulled out the gorgeous lingerie.
The German smirked at you. "You know, if you wanted me, you didn't have to buy all of this underwear~"
You stop smiling, only to realize how suggestive it seemed. "O-oh," Your face grew hot. "I- uh, umm..." Trailing off, you watch your girlfriend feel the soft underwear.
"It's beautiful. Danke again Y/n."
Monika hugs you, and you can tell how fun Christmas was going to be, the presents, the free time, the party and food, as well as some hickeys...
