Don't be afraid to love: a Draco Malfoy imagine book. (Vol. I)

No one should be alone

(Set in regular school, not Hogwarts)
I grab my journal and sketch book and sit on the balcony of the gym. I start a sketch of my favorite scene in my favorite movie. As I was finishing up a bit came and sat next to me, I think his name was Draco. "Hi." He said hesitatingly. "Umm hi." I acknowledged. "What are you doing up here?" He inquired. "I just don't have anyone to hang out with so I am sitting up here." I resentfully replied. "So you're all alone, all the time?" He asked. "Yes." I scoffed. I knew he wasn't one for all rainbows and sunshine. "I also fitness really talk to my parents much. Bit of a rebel." I smirked. He scoffed and I grinned. He then scooted closer to me and hugged me. "Umm. Okay." I unsettlingly said while he was hugging me. "Trust me I know what It feels like to defy your parents. I've done it too."
"And you hugged me for it?" I questioned.
"I hugged you because you can't be alone."
"Why?"
"Cause no one deserves to be alone."
"Okay then, I'll see you later." I said awkwardly packing my bag and walking out of the gym. I walked to lunch and sat down at the circle table with no one there. "Thank god." I said aloud and I plopped down. I sighed and took out my bag of chips and listened to music as I slowly ate them. After lunch the rest of the day was pretty normal. In fact, the next week was normal. And even the next month. But when August hit, everything changed.

At lunch I sat with one girl who was new to the school, you can say we were pretty good friends. We sat and I watched as Draco swaggered forward and then stopped and his face dropped immediately as he looked at Harry and that one girl who was spelled. Draco looked really uncomfortable and I saw him run out of the room. I said that I'd be back to my friend and saw Harry run after Draco. I sneakily spied on them and saw Harry and Draco arguing. Then I heard things being thrown and I realized they were throwing spells at each other. I ran in and stood between them. "If anyone moves I will petrify you." I vociferously stated. They both put down their wands but Harry raised his and I shouted quickly "petrificus totalus!"
Harry froze mid cast and I breathed heavily. "That was close, he would have taken us both out." I stated calmly
"Yeah." Draco agreed shockingly. "Why did you save me?" He asked. "Because, like you said a month ago, no one deserves to be alone." After that I kiss him on the cheek and walk out. I leave him in shock just like harry. I see Draco walk out of the bathroom and then I unfreeze harry "finite petrificus totalus." I whispered and I heard a bang. Harry ran out of the bathroom and he had smoke and dust all over him. I stifled a laugh and walked away quickly.

And that's how I met my best friend from total chance and love.
